AT&T how to self install and what to look for

So i used to have that small white box mounted on my wall from long ago. The first small white box you showed that shows all the little light indicators. Unfortunately, someone in my household ripped it off the wall completely along with all the wires, and the optic wire as well. Would I have to get a technician come out to my home again to put that small white box in?
