Apologies for the audio. We had a technical glitch and it’s not our finest hour. We were triple streaming to FB, YT & IG all at once.
Enjoy it for the content. It was too good to waste this 1.5 hours of footage.

Awesome video! A wealthy person is simply someone who has learned how to make money when they're not working. - Robert Kiyosaki. You become financially free when your passive income exceeds your expenses. Thanks for this video! :)

Hi Mike, thanks for the content. Especially impressed on which age you realized this economic independence! It is so funny that I stumbled across this video as currently I am doing the same as you are. Getting loans backed up by my real estate and invest that money myself in flipping. Real estate in Poland, investors in dead-taxed Belgium. People don't know what to do with their money anymore and are happy with a 5-6% netto return in an almost riskless investment. It beats shares and most other riskier investment classes, that is for sure. Nice % you can offer too!

Hey Mike, great content as always.
Any idea what time investment (training, networking) could be required to become a profitable private lender?
I currently have 100K sitting in a HISA and I'm looking for better returns.

Just diving into private lending, returns are amazing, am I wrong that the tax is 50% of the gain? Just as with any passive investment? 50% of something is better than...you know how it goes! Thanks for the vids!

Cindy Jones Sherk setup a Corp to lend and make it an active business at 13.5% tax with write offs - gas, phone, office if needed, car etc

You seriously need to improve your audio. Seek advice from a professional in broadcasting. The echo. Reveberb is very distracting. Your in a well.constructed of metal walls.

Steve Cartwright my camera guy had the wrong equipment - I agree. Honestly using an iPhone woulda been better than the device he used.

Just got a firm deal on my duplex. Not looking to be a landlord again. I thought I'd be interested in private lending but I'm just going to purchase MAW104, MAW120 and VBAL. It's all about risk vs reward right. If there's a crash in equities I'll move some of my bond allocation into more equities or canadian eligible dividend stocks. God damn, being a landlord in degenerate areas for 7 years really sucked. Was it worth it yes, would I do it again, no. I can't think of any other situation I'd describe like that lol.

Tyler P much easier to private than or get dividends than it is to manage tenants & properties. Return on time is important.

@@MikeRosehart Yep.. you know how it is.. You pretty much had to be a psychologist and a social worker to that degenerate that caused those damages. Been there done that.. I'm sure you have the same fond memories of being a handyman, a janitor, being a dad towards bickering tenants, I'm sure you had tenants who'd talk to you as if you were their son too because of your age. hmm what else.. a construction professional, have top notch bullshit detecting skills when dealing with both tenants and contractors. I have such a shittier outlook of the world from having been in this business. A lot has to do with the rules of the game in Ontario though.
