- This holiday season, I created an entire Christmas meal for my family in NYC. I've been training as a Culinary student in NYC and now it was time to put some of that to the test. Let me know in the comments below if you'd like me to make videos about any specific recipes featured in this VLOG.

“It doesn’t suck” 😂 💀 I loved that hahaha
As an Italian girl that doesn’t have a family to spend the holidays with, this was so special, and so sweet! Thank you for inspiring me to create my own traditions. Hope to see a lot more from your channel !
Welcome to my family!!
Food for an Army...Or an Italian family
Bobbitty boopy?
Love the uncle “it doesn’t suck”😂 we all have that one.
As my grandma used to say with a humble tone after cooking a storm: “…and we ate today too” (anche oggi abbiamo mangiato)
God rest her soul ❤️❤️
“It doesn’t suck”
Very high praise 👏
I will never forget how to pick a lime thanks to your dad 💚
Also, this video made me think for the first time in my life- "What do Italian people eat for Christmas? Are any of the things they made traditional Christmas dishes?"
Then, your uncle (I imagine) saying "It doesn't suck" made me laugh because I'm wondering, is that actually a really high, though veiled compliment?
I love her passion for cooking. She's a gracious hostess, as well
I really enjoy your videos. Watching cooking videos has been my most effective therapy since childhood. My mom and I used to watch people like Jaques Pepin, Julia Child, the Urban Peasant....now you're a daily go-to for me. Thanks!
Thank you so much for all of the content that you make. I have learned so many new things from you!
You are so welcome! Happy Holidays 😊❤️
@@FlavorsByAle happy holidays!🎄🥶
You're so cute and it's great to see how kind your family is. And always return your shopping carts!
I love when there are other italians on christmas cooking cause it so similar yet very different to mine
Now that looks delicious 🤤. My sister and convinced our mother one year to do a Crab boil instead of the normal Turkey or ham dinner. That was so much fun and now I want to go create something in the kitchen 😁
Love that last closing shot you and your family, looks like something Michelangelo would paint! Thank you - Lots of ideas and I'm hungry now! LOL :-)
“It doesn’t suck!”
Everyone has one of those uncles lol
You are a wonderful person and great chef I can't wait for you to have you're own restaurant one day
Best line: 'It doesnt suck!'
Stay humble, learn as much as you can when mom and dad want to teach you something! That was quite a feast, well done!
The dramatic high altitude salting is the culinary equivalent of the superhero landing
Thanks for the tip on the limes
You always make food look so good.
Mmm everything sounds delicious 🤤 Happy Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Merry Christmas 🎉

Are you parents cooks or chefs by trade? If not I love when the parents like engaging with their kids’ careers and interests!
So wait if we get married do I get to grocery shop with your dad?!
So….. who did the dishes?
As a pro chef (with a culinary degree, intermediate and master classes at CIA, Food Network Champ, etc) I feel Id be remiss if I did not comment on a few things you could have done better=Constructive criticism. Overall, you did a great job cooking in large batches for your family. Keep up the good work. This is NOT an easy business, especially for females. I, too, am a female chef and have worked for over 25 yrs in the biz
-Girl....you work as a chef and work at home with your hair down? You want your hair in the food? Ponytail
-Never use an immersion blender, robot coupe/Cuisinart, or blender for mashed potatoes. The blades cut the potatoes rather than mash them and this can result in a paste/glue-like consistency. As me, how I know? I once made this mistake less than an hour b4 service when I was private chefing for a dinner party for 30 ppl. The client did not notice but I did and it drove me nuts that my meal wasn't perfect.
in the future, use a hand-held mixer (preferred bc you can do it in the same pot and not have to wash the bowl) or a standing kitchen aide mixer with either the paddle or whisk attachment.
-To make less dishes (work smart instead of hard), saute/brown your sausage and cook your onions in the bottom of your marina pot, drain fat and then add red sauce ingredients. The meat will do more to flavor your sauce.
-When putting so much and or heavy foods in disposable aluminum pans, id double them for strength and insulation. You can always reuse the bottom one. Nothing is a bigger drag than pulling something out of the oven, only to have the pan give way and lose it on your floor.
BTW your knife skills are off to a very good start. Way to tuck those fingers back and roll your knuckle forward!!!
