Does anyone else notice during the group singing session at how far away Reba’s microphone is and how clearly you can hear her distinct voice?? Talk about a true powerhouse vocalist
They have a wired power pack hooked to them in there dresses somewhere. The wire goes up your back to ear plugs to know how loud you are so you can adjust the microphone. Reba has her's more than likely higher than the rest of the ladies. I play the drums so i dont sing which some drummers do but but all of the guys have a power pack to turn the mic up or down. I love Reba and always will. She is a real amazing artist.
This was an outstanding tribute and performance to Loretta Lynn. Some of the top female voices in country saluting the queen of country . Rest in peace Loretta. ❤️🌹
Roy Orbison said that Coal Miner's Daughter was the best country music song ever written. I believe that's true. It's one of the many songs that the US Government decided to include in the Library Of Congress.
I am so glad she was here to see how many in the business really loved her. She had the fans, including me, but respect and acknowledgment of peers is of another dimension.
I don't know about that assessment. Underwood has a big voice. She didn't sing because she injured her voice earlier in the night. Martina has a huge voice. I think Jennifer Nettles has a good voice as well. They all sing well.
Reba is the last of a dieing breed in female country music. she is a living legend. thanks for sharing this tribute for a pioneer of music Loretta Lynn.
Reba and Miranda, I love their Harmony. They both sing closest to Loretta style. Even Loretta said that about Miranda Lambert. All of them knocked it out of the park. 😍 Now that's country I grew up on to love. ❤❤❤❤❤
The best tribute to date. RIP Loretta Lynn fly high with the 😇. 🥺 Loretta is a pioneer of country, a legend in her own right. Like Allan Jackson said there will never be another Loretta Lynn. 💔❤️🩹💐🌹🌹🌹❤❤❤
One of the first women in country music was Kitty Wells, who was a contemporary of Patsy Cline, but who had been successful before Patsy was. Loretta famously came up with Patsy, and those two were followed by Dolly Parton. So, while I like them all, the "creation of women in country music" predates Loretta Lynn. But she's definitely influenced many who came after her, and most (if not all) of the women performing in the genre today. And while Reba IS my favorite, if anyone is the current queen, that title goes to Dolly Parton. Reba's even spoken about Dolly being her favorite. And her career predates Reba's.
I'VE ALWAYS BEEN A FAN OF THIS WARM HEARTED LADY MY MAMA BROUGHT ME UP ON HER BEUTIFUL VOICE I'LL NEVER FORGET MRS LORETTA LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL MUSIC.
I absolutely love this woman so much!! I was lucky enough to meet Loretta 3 times at the " Little Nashville Opry" in Nashvulle Indiana. It was in the 70's - but I will cherish it forever! I am so hoping to see her again, and I would love to visit her homes! Both of them!! I love you Loretta!❤
Back in the early 60's my brother-in-law from Nicholasville Kentucky introduced us (his wife's family) to the one and only Loretta Lynn. We are from Mineral County, Wv. Still enjoy her music. Love you Loretta.
Loretta was the person who made my favorite memories of going down south so special. Her voice would always be there somewhere. She was our angel then, and she's an angel now. 😪💝💝💝❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Such an awesome performance. My own mother was a KY coal miner's daughter and never forget seeing the movie with her....she could relate. Adore all these women and their amazing strong voices and personalities. Southern women rule!!
Love Loretta!! Happy to say I live close to where she grew up and live in the town the movie was filmed in and know personally several of the people in the film. The little shop with the bologna scene is still running to this day. Also the fair grounds are still up and going.
My husband grew up over the hill from butcher holler...hes from van lear..its a shame herman passed he was very sweet..we live just 20 minutes from van lear
REBA YOU ARE SO AWESOME AND AMAZING!!!!! And your voice is just beautiful no matter what your singing. You are another one of the most talented female Legands I'll always love to listen too. Just absolutely amazing!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Love you Loretta and people don't realize you were a woman's advocate. I love the The Coal Miner's daughter. Saw Loretta Lynn the first lady of country in Jacksonville a few years ago and she's still got it folks. Did an awesome job. Great job ladies with you tribute. She is a country music icon.
Amazing tribute Reba a powerful voice as always almost like she doesn't need a microphone... I was wondering why Carrie didn't sing she is my favorite singer of today's music
I love good original country songs, during the early 70's, I wrote a lot of country songs sent to song sharks from Memphis and Nashville, from solicitor from comic books advertising. Some of my songs maybe out there.
I love this song and its one of my most favorites of loretta lyn and i love the way the song tells you how it was growing up for her and it nakes me so lucky for what we have now and what they went threw to get what we have. Beautiful song!
An awesome collection of country musics finest in one sitting. Women came from Venus men came from Marrs, im going to Venus♡ ☆PERFECTLY PERFORMED☆ So much beauty on one stage. I think I just saw HEAVEN :-)
sissy I'v met she prefers quiet private life wears disguises when she goes shopping to avoid crazy fans local mall security keeps quiet but always knows she is coming she is sweet low key lady
If you are around my age, 66 years old, then your parents and grandparents lived in the same era of this song. Life was very hard then for so many. Change a couple words, from "coal miner" to "farmer", and your talking about my family. But it likely fits the life of so many families. My grandfather barely scratched a living out of the dirt from a small farm. In fact as if farming was not difficult enough, he was forced to work multiple part time jobs, to make ends meet. He even had a couple hogs, occasionally, to sell when things really got rough. You know, to buy a luxury items..... like shoes for all the kids. Along the way, whenever I have felt a little sorry for my self, from time to time, I think back on the strength, fortitude and shear backbone it took for my family to survive. Then, I stop my belly aching and complaining, stand up strait and tall and handle whatever life throws my way! This song is a great reminder we can all use.
Life can be hard at any era. I'm 63. It's not easy. Golden years, ? Hell no. I change the words around, I'm proud to be a pig farmers daughter, mom would shop, dad went to the slaughter, we didn't give a damn ,as long as we had ham, yeah I'm proud to be a pig farmers daughter 🎸💕🎼🐖
They're all good. But none of the others there beats Reba!!! What a voice, attitude and looks... This shows great performances by all, though. Love this!
Hi Reba, I never knew that you sang in the Coal Miners daughter song at all because it always said Loretta Lynn on it, but now i see that you are in the Coal Miners Daughter with some other girls. This is 1 of my favorites & so is Delta Dawn. You are 1 of my favorites that i like listening to & the Andy Griffith on you tube.
Loretta Lynn brings all of us back to our home. Thank you Loretta for this most heart warming song. I can listen to it AND watch the movie about your life every single day. You are finally back with your beloved Dew.
Loretta Lynn was the matriarch of country western music meaning she was the longest living grand ole opry member with the career spanning over six decades before Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, and Connie Smith. That was my father from a little town called Neva Tennessee not famous at all but everything she sings about coal miner's daughter was my grandparents and my dad he was 17 and enlisted in World War II
57 years almost 60 years In This Business Ladys and Gents The last of the old legends Queen of country First lady Decca Doll The Most awarded lady. In the History of country She's a force there will never be another LORETTA LYNN
Loretta Lynn would no doubt say Patsy was and always will be the first female of Country music. But hell it ain't like she ain't put her foot in the mix.
This made me cry...we live only 20 minutes from van Lear ky... I've been to butcher holler..her childhood home is still standing ...her brother herman passed late last year..he was a very sweet kind and gently man..he ran the number 5 general store just up the road from his and Loretta childhood home
Loretta Lynn is definitely the reigning Queen of Country Music. But I tell you the one that is next for the crown (already has it) is Reba. She is the only one here that got an applause once she started singing. What does that say about her?
Does anyone else notice during the group singing session at how far away Reba’s microphone is and how clearly you can hear her distinct voice?? Talk about a true powerhouse vocalist
Dolly is the same. Porter had to have her way away from the mic she had such a powerful voice
And, did you notice Carrie was not featured?
They have a wired power pack hooked to them in there dresses somewhere. The wire goes up your back to ear plugs to know how loud you are so you can adjust the microphone. Reba has her's more than likely higher than the rest of the ladies. I play the drums so i dont sing which some drummers do but but all of the guys have a power pack to turn the mic up or down.
I love Reba and always will. She is a real amazing artist.
Carol Bunch Carry had blown her voice out singing “How Great Thou Art” earlier that night
Ever notice how big her mouth is. Explains why the voice comes out loud and clear.
They will never be another Loretta Lynn, she is and always will be the Queen of country music and my favorite singer
Loretta, Dolly and Reba...queens of country, living legends. 💯💖💖💖
And Tammy
This was an outstanding tribute and performance to Loretta Lynn.
Some of the top female voices in country saluting the queen of country .

This song brings tears to my eyes. One of the greatest country songs ever written. I never get sick of hearing it.
Me neither ✌🏾
Loretta sure always gives me the giggles with her funny southern lingo and her upbeat contagious cheerfulness 😄 That’ll be missed the most 😞
Roy Orbison said that Coal Miner's Daughter was the best country music song ever written. I believe that's true. It's one of the many songs that the US Government decided to include in the Library Of Congress.
Actually the best country song is Whiskey Bent and Hellbound
How cool is that?
Country Bumpkin. He Stopped Loving Her Today, Statue of a Fool. Are traditional sounding with Stand By Your Man and Crazy.
I am so glad she was here to see how many in the business really loved her. She had the fans, including me, but respect and acknowledgment of peers is of another dimension.
Of all the great voices here singing Coal Miners Daughter,Reba just blows them all away.
While I agree with you 100%! I still think they all did great. 😊
They all did good Reba the best . Love her
I don't know about that assessment. Underwood has a big voice. She didn't sing because she injured her voice earlier in the night. Martina has a huge voice. I think Jennifer Nettles has a good voice as well. They all sing well.
both Reba and Martina have the most powerful voice both had their mics further away and they didn't even let Carrie underwood sing a verse lol.
Why does Lorettas childhood home look like such a great place to just go chill, away from craziness. Just living off the land
Reba is the last of a dieing breed in female country music. she is a living legend. thanks for sharing this tribute for a pioneer of music Loretta Lynn.

Reba nailed it awesome job love how the audience started cheering her. Carrie looks pissed off cause she didn't get a part.
Carrie had just finished signing How Great Thou Art. I would imagine her voice needed the rest.
That was always one of my favorites because I am a great grandson of a coal miner in Northern Missouri

Imo Martina and Reba are the two best singers in country music.
I could never hear, “Coal miners daughter” to many times!! Absolutely love it! From a fellow Kentucky country girl!❤️
I love how Reba gets a cheer she's Queen of Country and Loretta's the Creator of women in country
Loretta Lynn was the matriarch of country western music meaning she was the longest living grand ole opry member with the career spanning over six decades before Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, and Connie Smith. There were kitty Wells, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Jean Shepherd. Those were the true iconic queens of country music. The rest would follow.
Reba has the most unique voice I've ever heard. As far as I'm concerned she's the Queen of Country.
Anna Larmour cause she’s transgender
Whatever stop commenting stupid crap no one wants to hear it.
Anna Larmour I’m serious. That’s why she has a deep voice
She's the princess she'll assume the crown should anything ever happen to Loretta Lynn.
@@astropastel Gotta disagree with you if anything Dolly Parton holds that crown.

ABSOLUTELY SHE IS THE QUEEN OF COUNTRY MUSIC. AND SHOULD BE. I LOVE YOU LORETTA.
Kitty Wells and Dolly are the queens. Loretta is the First Lady and Tammy Wynette.
Notice how half the time reba did t have the mic anywhere near her mouth and she was still the loudest ❤️😂
Powerful & magical
Loretta, dolly, Tammy wynette. Are the legends.
Loretta Lynn is definitely the reigning Queen of Country Music. But I tell you the one that is next for the crown (already has it) is Reba. She is the only one here that got an applause once she started singing. What does that say about her?
It passes to Dolly Parton next...and THEN to Reba.
It's sad knowing that both Naomi and Loretta are gone now. Rest in peace, ladies!
Reba ROCKED that song!!!
