@@vladimirfyodorov awesome it’s so good to meet you!!!! My current special interest is the show Lego ninjago- it’s been my special interest since I was a kid, and I wrote a whole 50 chapter fanfiction when I was in fifth grade! (Thanks so much for replying to my comment by the way that’s very nice of you) do you have any special interests?
I have autism (high functioning) tourettes syndrome and epilepsy! I am a quite medically diverse person. I love these videos they make me so happy. Since I am high functioning it isn't as bad but it still affects me!
ASD us a spectrum. you get level 1-3 high functioning to very low functioning.. pre 2012 there was "Asperger's" now it's level 1.. ASD . I have an adult son and also a clinical psychologist, even people who are on same spectrum are different to others on same spectrum.. so not one person with autism is the same..level 1 is little to no support,,maybe help with organising or planning etc.. no delays in speech or cognition problems then the higher up you go the more support needed.
I am a licensed therapist in the States with many clients young and old on the spectrum. I would love to connect with your psychologist son and learn what he thinks about ASD. Would you be comfortable giving him my info?
As an autistic person, I am kindly letting you know that functioning labels are harmful. "Low functioning" and "high functioning" are inaccurate and not good. Support labels are good replacement, saying high support needs or low support needs, varied support needs, etc. Is what we are moving toward ❤
Everyone around him is like”He’s not like other autistic people he’s very social friendly and outgoing” And then proceeds to give one worded answers in interview making no eye contact and clearly uncomfortable
he doesnt seem uncomfortable hes smiling the whole time, also eye contact isnt a thing many autistic people like. even if we dont make eye contact we can still be engaged in the conversation!
The moral of the story talk to uour kids. Most parents are tired constantly. This happy young boy is great company but busy parents would find him hard to keep up with. I hope this boy has a community of other kids like him to talkt to but most people are charmed by mine who is quite similar
