Life is like learning to skateboard. I almost missed this beautiful moment with my (step)son this morning because of my PTSD. So here is a look at my thoughts this morning.

This really speaks to me. I was a skateboarder as a youth living in Texas, my life feels like your analogy and I find the connection you make to that very poignant. Thank you for saving my life on the trail today. I look forward to following your journey and hearing your insights.

Hey Chris. Thanks for reaching out. It does stick with us, but there has been so much beauty out here that it has been good for the soul.
