The ruling elites love having their brainwashed minions to defend them blindly. Goes to show how important more videos like these are. We need more conversation about this topic daily, and hopefully gets to discussion and action about how to change the system to something sustainable and healthy.
@@willjapheth23789 Ok, so you are anti-ruling class? Well sure, so am I and a lot of other people. But truth of the matter, most people don't want to realize, is that monetary-market economics is unsustainable. Market capitalism has a ruling class and that's unhealthy and environmentally unsustainable. So we can't continue using it as a major economic system or things will just continue to get worse. We don't have to go back to previous systems either like socialism or communism - they still had historically operated with money and some markets (at least globally, to some degree) and are also subject to ruling classes. The issue is ruling classes are "Man's Law" they are influenced by those with the most money and power and don't scientifically ensure all people's basic needs are met in a sustainable way. That's the ultimate issue if we want to have a somewhat healthy future - sustainability and basic needs for all. That can be done by a Natural Law system. Create self-sufficient communities with as much local goods and services. No ruling class needed.
@@coolioso808 I think ruling classes or hierarchies in general are unavoidable for any community larger than we can name individually. So any nation will have rulers and it'll just change hands. I don't hate it, but I'd prefer a pretty flat trapezoid hierarchy. I don't trust socialists to achieve that. A small sustainable tribe does seem like the best way to maintain an equitable society. I don't know if that'll be possible at this time. And some small communities can be very hierarchical and cultish, so it's not a guaranteed solution, but I'm alot more open to that then all these maoists around here. There would also need to be a method to prevent these communities from becoming empires again like 5000 years ago.
@@willjapheth23789 Ruling classes I do not think are unavoidable. I certainly hope to avoid them as they are a very destabilizing part of a society. Hierarchies, of some sorts, are unavoidable. Like, if we have a hospital we will have lower level nurses, head nurse, lower level doctors, higher up surgeons and top doctor and hospital administrators - those kind of managing and monitoring hierarchies are logical, even when they can be trimmed and streamlined. With our technology today, it's not just small communities that are the only ones that could be organized sustainably. Yes, some mega cities are very unsustainable and would need to thin out. But there are a lot of small to medium-sized cities that could be mostly local, self-sustaining if we had a system that was based on scientifically and mathematically meeting needs in a sustainable way. Most stores do it internally like having a detailed inventory of resources, then tracking and monitoring and improving technology to make it the most efficient for producing and distributing those resources. Problem is, for many stores or corporations, they don't factor in true environmental sustainability. That's why we see so much waste and it is incentivized by money and market economics. That's what we should transition away from. We can live a high quality life if we allowed the mechanized potential to come to fruition, but it won't happen if money rules the world.
about part 5. As a Disabled Person I find it important to also look at "who" defines "what" merit is. Historically the capitalist definition of merit has often lead to disenfranchisement and alienation to those who can met these definitions. This has also played into the hands of Fascists which furthered both groups goals and leads to immerse suffering. Even outside of Fascisms it forces millions to experience physical and metal struggles, causes lifelong self-worth issues and empowers groups seeking harm instead of solidarity.

And this isn’t even talking about the moral arguments. As a Christian, I view a system that promotes and rewards greed, lust, and selfishness to be fundamentally evil
Do you prefer a system that rewards altruistic sacrifice for the collective, or for an ideal? And who gets to decide what that ideal is? I prefer selfishness to the instrumentalization of people.
Whereas socialism is based on it. If you want to be assigned a better house, job, or even car by the state under socialism - you better know somebody high up in the party. And of course, you better be pretty high up yourself. Profit-seeking may not be perfect, and it may come with externalities, but surely it is better than a system based purely on rent-seeking.
@@lazar14 In Cuba, the Comunist Party holds no such power or status. Cuba bans political parties from campaigning, and voters consult a canadidates' biography. See the video by AzureScapegoat. Also, political corruption isn't exclusive to socialist countries, as can be observed. Corruption is simply a lack of transparency to the people, isn't it? Regardless, it's hard to measure because it's hard to define what actions it constitutes and obviously the transactions are illicit. Importantly, corruption is most commonly measured through perception surveys. So this makes it very subjective. As an aside, most third world people are hesitant to trust any intenational index, as these are always made by neoliberal institutions, and as such are heavily biased toward countries with greater desire for capital accumulation, and greater imperialist ambitions, and they fail to consider the singularity of a given country's social, political, and economic system, or of the people's material conditions.

Unless every single person in power is fair, capitalism still dosen't work. If you're plaiyng fair you'll get crapped on by the competition so capitalism is still flawed.
The system in and of itself has a tendency to invite the success of unscrupulous characters. The "people in power" are usually intelligent narcissists, nihilists, sociopaths, etc. The people willing to play to the evilness of the system tend to lack a conscience.
are you sure that not the people in power are the problem? Capitalism is straight business and it is a competition, that is a fact I admit. But in the first place it is not about harming people since harming people is at the same time bad for capitalism which brings me to the point that people in power within the government might be the cause since mindless taxes, laws, regulations and the attempt to influence economy might lead to the interruptions within capitalism. It is like an alien part getting into a body: It will cause sickness before white blood cells can help in time and bring back order...

You could say that the individualism inherent with capitalistic ideology also accidentaly created a number of free spirited and concsious people willing to reject dogma and learn by themselves, I'm compting on that to see some change during our lifetime =)

@kaustabh no it is not haram in Islam. Hakim, as an example, is a Muslim and a Marxist. There are Muslim communists like there are Christian communists and the list goes on
@kaustabh it’s complicated. Most negative perspectives from Muslims can come from the portrayal of the Uighur population’s oppression in China, which spurs anti-Communist tendencies. It’s the same with the general history of communism being anti-religious that came from the 20th century, and the complicated involvement of the Soviet Union in the Middle East (like in Afghanistan for instance). However, that isn’t to say that Islam and communism is totally antithetical. For instance, in Islamic scriptures, a strong sense of liberation theology can be gauged from it, and which can inspire Muslim communists to seek to implement socialism in their own states. That’s similar to how it was in Latin America with the Jesuits in the 20th century. If you look hard enough, certain interpretations of scripture can justify socialism as a system. It’s all interpretation actually, and Islam is flexible enough to justify pretty much any system of governance, even secularism if you have the right arguments. BTW this is coming from a person of Muslim background.
@@talkingeco3734 As a Muslim, I have to say this is a perfect comment though I would emphasize that the portrayal of the Uighur population is incorrect.

It's like a form of Stockholm Syndrome isn't it? Our society keeps getting abused by the booms, busts and overall unsustainability of market capitalism and we keep coming back to use it as our major economic system worldwide. The reason, of course, is pretty obvious: they have basically tied our survival to capitalism, even as weak as it is for most people, there seems to be little alternatives that people can get behind. Well, I used to feel that way, but then I realized there ARE viable alternatives, clearly there must be because capitalism isn't the only way we've ever organized as species. We actually spent 90% of our human history without money or markets, so we've been very successful in a more egalitarian kind of society. The key is to do that in the modern context. Those who are interested, I suggest checking out a Resource Based Economy, that would make poverty, money, politics and war obsolete. And a way to get there? I'm sure there are a few, but the leading one, right now, IMO, is a movement for a global UBI to ensure everybody's basic needs are met as a human right (even based on UN principles) and a fast-track method to transform our systems to address climate change by freeing people from unnecessary or harmful work and being able to refocus efforts on actually meaningful endeavours.

A very powerfull point you can add for your friends: democracy ends once inside the workplace, authoritarism is the norm and the law; why do we accept this?
@@Dinofaustivoro I agree!! I am trying to start my own independent business atm and one of them said the other day. Aren't you a capitalist now?? I tried to explain no, I have no intention of owning labour and controlling in authoritarian way. I work for myself and if I ever employ I will look to work with someone who I can collectivise with. Labour is exploitation and capitalism economic authoritarianism. Govern the economy like we aspire to govern our countries, using democracy!
The craziest realization about capitalism I had was when we were briefly introduced to Marxist terms in my college history class. My professor explained that capitalism is, by definition, exploitative, because in order for there to be profits a worker must be paid less than the actual work of their labor - so, the “owning class” exploits the “working class” by definition. Being from the grand ol’ USA, probably the country most blind to the problems of capitalism in the world, this was incredibly eye-opening. For once, I can thank the UA-cam algorithm for knowing the inner workings of my life and showing me more perspectives (especially on socialism). I’m eager to learn more, but very skeptical because with the amount of capitalist propaganda, communist propaganda, and counter-propaganda from both parties, I feel like it is very difficult to know where the true merits (and failures) of each system lie. I do have to say though that socialism sounds a hell of a lot better than capitalism atm - especially when I consider that I was unknowingly supporting socialist solutions to problems without knowing they were socialist.
Good story about your realization of the flaws of capitalism at a young age. I had perhaps a similar realization as a school-aged boy, asking my father the question "What is money? Why do we need it?" and I don't recall his answer exactly, but it didn't answer my question really. So I started to look deeper. I found The Zeitgeist Films which were eye-opening. Money and markets are debt-based, they require others to be some form of slaves to others. The reason that society has improved has not been due to money or markets, it was due to the invention of a faster, better means of production - AKA the Industrial Revolution some 200 years ago. That's when we were able to do more and more with less. That's where the problem of capitalism got out of hand. The owners vs the workers. The class war that we are still fighting today. We need a way out of this mess and we do have it. But it needs to remove the toxic nature of money-market relations to our basic survival. A Natural Law Resource Based Economy stands out as a viable system. We have the technology today to ensure basic needs are met for all people - food, water, shelter, clothing, etc. - without money and without labor-for-income - if we allow for it with a collaborative, localized system.
I can’t believe I used to make fun of my grandma and grandpa for being communist like I’m genuinely ashamed and embarrassed. Back in the 70s and 80s they would be in communication with Russia and China communist all the way in Peru. Luckily they are both alive and we have a great relationship because I’m no longer an arrogant, indoctrinated kid. I have a lot to learn but my goodness am I glad I’m no longer the same girl who wanted to join the army to “fight for democracy” 😭. It’s literally so embarrassing I’m having a hard time trying to get over that cringe part of my life. Anyways just wanted to to put this out there so people don’t lose hope the truth will always come out!
Very important topic, Hakim doesn't disappoint! I'll say one thing about regulations. Regulations can sometimes minimize some negative aspects of capitalism and limit profits, this is why capitalists oppose most regulations. However, trying to regulate capitalism is like building a castle on top of sinking quick sand. As long as capitalists are in power money rules society and capitalists can always use their influence to reverse and undo any regulations. If the masses ever let up for a second, or are weak for a second, regulations will be reversed -- sometimes slowly, but always surely. Its an impossible system to regulate, its like trying to jump to escape gravity.
Well, you likely will. Capitalism is unsustainable. Things will only get worse worldwide if capitalism stays at the dominant economic system. We'll see a living dystopian novel if we stay with capitalism. So, at some point, enough people should rise up and demand and end to this madness and a transition towards a more sustainable system, perhaps an RBE and using a global demand for a UBI as a catalyst.

Biologists say we've grossly misunderstood the concept of 'fittest,' and it's hurting our lives and livelihoods. “Fitness" is just your ability to reproduce, the rate of output among a class of genetic variants. Darwin criticized the 'survival of the fittest' argument often, presenting instead a hypothesis for human evolution that centered sympathy. While the phrase "survival of the fittest" is often used to mean "natural selection", it is avoided by modern biologists, cause the phrase can be misleading. Another problem is that the word "fit" is frequently confused with a state of physical fitness. Also, "the survival of the fittest" was interpreted by 19th century capitalists (Herbert Spencer especially) as "economic competition" and "social Darwinism" to justify laissez-faire economics, war etc. “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent; it is the one most adaptable to change.” - C. Darwin And, it's not needed to study pages to see these all..

How invigorating would it be to live in sustainable self-sufficient communities where automation is our friend, not a looming job loss fear, and food, water, clothing and basic needs are produced and distributed locally? Where you wake up with a sense of joy: what do I get to do today? Instead of what do I have to do today to keep the lights on and feed myself and/or family? We have the answers to our problems, if we just create the system that fosters those solutions to the fast track.

I have literally seen politicians openly buying votes or persuading people by giving away groceries and money. 08:01 "state institutions scrambling to build luxury condos for rich tourists" In my country, not only this happens, but there's also some tendency (at least in the big cities in middle and upper-class areas) to give preference to foreigners (mostly white and Asian) over some citizens of my country. It can be noticed by looking at some phenomena like the attitude of some landlords towards brown-colored people and their preference for foreigners, restaurants, and other businesses being racist or classist by denying entrance to poor-looking people or even segregating customers by skin color or social status.

You always make the most amazing videos. I've saved so many of your videos as reference sources. Marx and Engels perfectly described capitalism in the 1800's yet people today still don't see it. It's just sad that people aren't seeing it and think the solution to environmental problems is ecofascism because they don't want to let go of capitalism.
Is it okay that I do not consider myself as a socialist (precisely because I grew up in the Sowiet Union), not only did the vanguardists and state capitalists destroyed trust in socialism, the american domineering right wing hate of socialism makes a discussion as a socialist basically impossible. Is it okay to call myself as an anti capitalist? At this point I believe the only way to reform this is bottom up worker coopts and workers guaranteed shares in a company.
Late response, but it sounds like you might be a syndicalist, or at least, not a Marxist Leninist. The vanguard party is, I think, a predominantly Marxist-Leninist idea, not a uniquely socialist one. On the other hand (there are a lot of other hands, in fairness, and plenty of people have alternatives to the vanguard party) syndicalism wants to advance workers rights through unions, labor strikes, and the banding together of workers for themselves. Consider checking out syndicalism and anarcho syndicalism, or maybe just anarchist literature in general. You might agree with it.
I agree that the word 'socialist' or 'socialism' is so corrupted today that we can't even have rational conversations because it'll result in all these half-truth historical reactions like "it's never worked!" or "millions dead!" , etc, etc. So, what I have found is that there is an underlying problem that not many people are talking about - probably - because it is somewhat uncomfortable. Money and market economics are unsustainable. That means we can't keep up with a system that has incentive for monetary inequality and expect things to get better. We don't live in the Stone Age anymore, we can do better. We know people have basic needs, we know we have advanced computers that can inventory and calculate equations. We can put those together and create a system that is actually sustainable. A "Natural Law" instead of "Man's Law". It can be done locally and create self-sufficient communities where money, markets, poverty, politics are all obsolete. This isn't science-fiction this is all possible now and will be increasingly possible as technology advances - unless of course we destroy ourselves by continuing to let "the market" decide how to exploit our resources in very unsustainable ways.

I like retail work, but I can't do it myself bc my PTSD makes me too overwhelmed by the jobs I've had whenever I had bad experiences with an abusive customer. But I genuinely enjoy the idea of helping people in a store if they're not being nasty, sexist, and weird. But my experience is that with capitalism, you're supposed to put up with customers being nasty, sexist, and weird to you all the time without worry, that's an essential function of your job. Which kind of makes it feel like emotional prostitution. Would non-capitalist society have protections for retail workers or something more they could do about the really creepy and disgusting customers? The reason I'm unemployed is not bc I don't like to work but bc capitalist companies cannot and do not do anything to protect their workers from mental and emotional harm. I can't keep driving into that grinder. I like pet sitting and food delivery, but what I'd really like is to feel like I was helping people more, so I think I want to be a psychologist. But even with that you have to deal with how sad it is that so many people who need therapy don't really need therapy but they need better opportunities or better lives which might be possible if we brought down capitalism.
I think with socialism customer service work wouldn’t be so needed to begin with because over consumption wouldn’t be so much of problem so there is less need for customer service. And because money wouldn’t be concern for people they would be more easily banning people from entry if they have bad behavior.
It'd be cool to live in a world where disrespect of workers wasn't tolerated! You're not royalty because you walk into a shoe store. There's people even now who I think resist automation and remote service work because they want to boss someone around in person. How much of it is even selling products and not selling the emotional labor and humiliation of employees?

The system of monetary-market economics, which includes capitalism, is full of negative incentives for aggression, division, extreme inequality, oppression and corruption. People are forced by the system to compete for their survival even though technically speaking, there is no longer a need for people to compete for basic survival. If we had a system that was designed to meet basic needs in self-sustaining communities - which we can do - then we would see a much higher level of public and natural health. I advocate for transition to a Natural Law Resource Based Economy that makes poverty, politics, war and money obsolete. And a possible means of getting there being a mass movement for a global UBI as a human right.
I would like to elaborate on the falling rate of profit. While price do decrease, there are more commodities. So output is the same. However, less labour is used in making the product, so the cost of maintaining it rises, ergo falling profits. From simple stuff like more expensive machinery and raw materials, to the fact that more factories need to be build to accommodate the same amount of labour (same output, more expense) Also, I've been saying "now it's socialism or extinction" for years! Most supporters of capitalism would counter argue with "all of these things are because of the government". The problem is that you literally can't have capitalism without a state, because it's necessary in order to protect private property. Even if we suppose no government in a theoretical anarcho-capitalist society - with every capitalist defending privately their own means of production, they would eventually create one single security company because it would cut costs. Thus, a state is created.
Also, as an American, our country went through capitalism that was not regulated by the state. It was awful. You had millionaires in lavish mansions on the coast and their workers in filthy, overcrowded tenement houses struggling to put food on the table when everyone in their family, _even the children,_ worked. We do not want to go back to that time. Defenders of laissez faire love to say "well material conditions and living conditions improved during that time for everyone!" Of course they did! Didn't lift the workers out of extreme poverty! Material and living conditions improve as technology improves. That's just how it is! They improved for even the peasants under feudalism over time as technology advanced, and I haven't been seeing anyone say "feudalism is the greatest economic system EVER!" Because the peasants were still in extreme poverty while the lords lived in relatively lavish conditions. This happens with any class-based system or system that contains classes. The poorest of the poor break their backs in relative poverty to keep the rich who do nothing but sit on their ass in lavish living conditions.

It's amazing when people outside the ranks of the communist party defend communism. You just replace one ruling class for another.

Yup. Capitalism is, by design, a dog eat dog system.

Capitalism has been trying to tell us this whole time just how bankrupt and unsustainable it is.

That ubi video would be great, it’s all the rage with “progressive” people disenchanted with capitalism to a degree but still dismissive of socialism
What are you saying? You pro-UBI or against it? Are you for any sustainable socio-economic system like a Natural Law resource based economy?

A brilliant video, thank you! I hope that as many people as possible see this; this kind of content is what the Red Wing (I hate the false left-right dichotomy that means nothing at this point) needs in order to prosper online: not just memes or theatrics, but the presentation of facts that cannot be ignored that easily. Expecting your sister video about socialism with bated breath, since I'm curious to hear about the superiority of socialism compared to capitalism - I have little time for economic self-education these days, so your input would be most welcome.
Hear me out, we infiltrate the GOP by calling this red wing politics
@@firelights3675 eh, why not? Sounds fine; I see the triple-layered irony within this idea, so it fits current times pretty well.
Capitalism must go as soon as possible if we are to save the human race, great video comrade🚩✊🏼.
Indeed! Capitalism replaced by some form of a Natural Law resource based economy would be great.

"giving away sandwiches in a turn for a vote"
This is so fucking true for ALL political parties in my third-world country Mexico. Maybe people think things are so screwed up and will never change, so they instead do whatever with their vote, not knowing politicians will do terrible things like benefiting a few rich people in exchange for bribes. I have literally seen politicians openly buying votes or persuading people by giving away groceries and money.
08:01
"state institutions scrambling to build luxury condos for rich tourists"
In my country, not only this happens, but there's also some tendency (at least in the big cities in middle and upper-class areas) to give preference to foreigners (mostly white and Asian) over some citizens of my country. It can be noticed by looking at some phenomena like the attitude of some landlords towards brown-colored people and their preference for foreigners, restaurants, and other businesses being racist or classist by denying entrance to poor-looking people or even segregating customers by skin color or social status.
How does giving people stuff for votes even work? Are votes public in your country?
@@danielcreatd872 They also bribe the electoral system to make voting more "transparent".

Absolutely love the video. Just a heads up, the standard English pronunciation, as far as I know, of Keynesian is “Keen-Zee-In” or “Kayn-zee-in”
Hakim, I love your work, it is truly informative and easy to digest information. I have one small issue with your videos though, and it may seem silly. The very quiet woman singing in the background is making my paranoid anxiety go crazy, and again I know it's silly, but could I ask you to perhaps use lyricless music? I, and my very anxious brain would endlessly appreciate it.
Oh? My apologies, I'll definitely try to figure something out with that

Nice to see comrade Hakim made another video!
Greetings from Russia, friend. With your simple and understandable logic and factology, we will be able to promote the ideas of socialism all over the world. Proletarians of all countries, unite!
Hello algorithm, please let a liberal see this
Is it okay that I do not consider myself as a socialist (precisely because I grew up in the Sowiet Union), not only did the vanguardists and state capitalists destroyed trust in socialism, the american domineering right wing hate of socialism makes a discussion as a socialist basically impossible.
Commenting 🍞 to appease the algorithm. Well made video comrade Hakim!

Excellent video, comrade.
You’re joking right?
Under capitalism, people who *own* hard-working people's labor, are wealthy. Meritocracy there.
Stalin, what's wrong with someone owning their workers? Sure they do the hard labor and create the products but why should that matter? The capitalists own the business and they seem smarter than a worker
@@lysistrata6948 The workers don't need a capitalist to exist. In fact, workers are much smarter than the capitalist, since the worker is directly related to productivity. The worker knows his best interests related to economy much better than the capitalist, that follows their own capitalist interests.
@@lysistrata6948 as we all know, no capitalist has ever been a worker before, they just descend from the heavens. So no worker is smart enough to become an owner and surely not all the workers in the business combined are as smart as the handful of capitalists in charge. workers just want to get told what to do and get paid peanuts and should be grateful for the opportunity. They wouldn’t be able to do anything and society wouldn’t be able to function without capitalists
Dope vid, will watch again. Every time I feel like there's no hope for the installment of a better system, I remember the story of Lenin explaining that he didn't believe the Russian Revolution would happen in his lifetime... only to lead it within the next couple years. Sure the conditions were starkly different, but it gives some perspective on how quickly things can change. Let's hope that the "weeks where decades happen" are on their way soon.
Destroying unused product, especially food, should be a crime. And a severe one.

There must be (or should be) a name for the moment of realization that all the chaos and crises we, as the labour class, endure our entire lives, is actually completely explained and predicted by marxist theory.

I'm 42. I've spent my entire life in the southern states in America. I rejected capitalism from a young age. Needless to say, my adult years in this shithole country has been miserable. I've never been able to afford healthcare in this system. I've never been able to go see a doctor when my body tells me to. I use to hate our corrupt government but not the American people. Well trump has taught me that the people suck just as much as our corrupt system. I feel like a prisoner in my own country. And I have no hope for the future of America. I hate this place, I really do.
As a millennial American, I felt this.
Me too my friend, me too. And I'm 25
Problem is that most people thing of Socialism more Dictatorian and Capitalism as more Democratic thing, which sadly isn't true

I would like to elaborate on the falling rate of profit. While price do decrease, there are more commodities. So output is the same. However, less labour is used in making the product, so the cost of maintaining it rises, ergo falling profits. From simple stuff like more expensive machinery and raw materials, to the fact that more factories need to be build to accommodate the same amount of labour (same output, more expense)
Also, I've been saying "now it's socialism or extinction" for years! Loved it in the video!
I love your videos, tho I think you should put your sources as a link in the description. Especially those you use to get the graphs and statistics, this in order to provide further reading for those interested like me. Amazing video!
The books he mentioned in the end are basically from where he gets it
The sources are in the first (pinned) comment. No specifics about which source relates to graphs, images or verbal content, though.
Coach Cinnamon T is right, my sources are always in the pinned comment. The links appear in the order of the claims made. Otherwise, the direct citation is also in the video if a graph/head-line is shown.
Man.. so many video essays I’ve watched over the years about capitalism. But this one may be the most thorough and comprehensive vid on the subject I’ve seen yet. Very thorough and kept relatively short too. Well done, Hakim! I think this may be your best work yet.
Now I have a An-Cap video I can refer people to whenever I need to explain the basics of capitalism to them and why it’s slowly killing us. Keep up the good the work, comrade.
@12:51 "Giving away sandwiches for votes"
*cries in Serbian*
Please educate more people on this. I’m tired of people supporting capitalism
Defenders of laissez faire love to say "well material conditions and living conditions improved during that time for everyone!"
Of course they did!
Honey! Wake up! Hakim posted a new video
Thank you for being one of a handful of youtubers not infected with the liberal brainrot. I've found numerous "leftist" channels where I enjoyed their witty takedowns of fascists, only to later find out they don't actually want to dismantle capitalism. It's very frustrating.
Its always crazy to me that things Marx, Engels, lenin, and more to be sure, wrote Still hold up today. Sometimes, more rather then less in fact, sounding like they could have been written yesterday.
True. I suppose it's like how the things Newton, Darwin, Tesla etc said still hold up today. Knowledge of science may adapt, but the science itself stays the same. And that applies to political/economic sciences too.
Hakim id give you my left kidney if you make a video on how you envision socialism to work (in more detail would be nice) who votes, when, how the regions within a country are set up etc. or maybe a book recommendation?
