Could not believe skyzii left the door open like that on the last bend, it was championship suicide
Yeah it is absolutely baffling. He goes defensive and its over. No space for Ben on inside. No chance of going around the outside. I can't imagine he thought he was far enough ahead going into it. Its just a complete lapse.
I think he lost his head a bit from the sector 1 incident....it is a bad send (but fighting for the title you can't really blame Ben for going for it) but Ben did slow up to let Skyzii back past as he realised instantly it was on him.
@@philstansfieldhe doesnt leave the space for Daly one bit.
@@purwantiallan5089 er....do you have eyes?
He would've been champion if he settled for 3rd
@@adblox no. Ben would of took it on countback
It was really nice to see Alex in support of Ben winning the title with that last lap move. I completely agree with him and the other creators. Ben was ahead at the apex coz Skyzi left the door open, Skyzi then goes off the track to get past him again. Did Ben push him off? Yes. But was the move legal? Also yes (going by the rules). I think Ben deserves the championship more than Skyzi. Yes Skyzi is by far a quicker driver, but he just isn’t consistent enough and bottles it a bit
Is Skyzii a champion in this series cause maybe that's why he's inconsistent, knowing he is quick enough to win it but things just go wrong at no fault of his own preventing him from getting his 1st maybe
I wish Formula one (in game AND real life) goes back with the rules to be "You need to leave one car width INSIDE the track".
This passes when u are 'in front at the apex' than send your opponent off the track are so bad... it kills all the chance to have a nice battle.
Take for exemple the fight "alex x skyzii" it was AMAZING, corner after corner, leaving space, fight HARD. Unfortunately, that is becoming rare all over the sport.
alex v skyzii was not the last corner , alex went off the track like 10 times and didnt get a warning because he lifted, Even if skyzii didnt have 2 warnings already the last corner was an illegal overtake
Ben offered the place back after turn 5 and Syzi refused to keep DRS. Then left the door wide open before the final turn. Park it on the apex and he wins. Congratulations Ben! Can’t wait for the next season!
Tiametmarduk rightful winner. Even if you apply 10 second penalty for turn 5 incident, then the MSkyzii penalty which was correct doesn't change the result. He kept his foot down, and overtook off the track, and with hindsight he would have done differently.
But in real life rules (CS follows real life rules now), going off track and gaining a lasting advantage is a 10 second penalty, isn't it? That would give Skyzii the championship
@@aventusV33 yeah, but there is agreement that any in game penalty is applied, with no changes made.
@@SuperCoolFunHappyGuy is there? Then that's a bit bs. What's the point with following "real life rules" then ?
@@aventusV33 That's one for Alex and Co to answer.
@@aventusV33 If we followed real life rules, Meraki would've lost his race win in Mexico
Bro did a Ferrari strat in the sprint
I don’t think Ben should get a time penalty for the last lap sector 1 incident. He offered the spot back but Skyzii stayed behind on purpose to get DRS. Since Ben pushed him off, I do think that would eliminate the 3s penalty for going off track for Skyzii, but the penalty for an illegal overtake is still legit whether it’s 10s or 20s. So Ben, in my eyes, no penalty (because he slowed to give the position back and Skyzii declined) + Skyzii pen for illegal overtake = Ben win.
Congrats on the win 🎉🎉🎉
You really deserved the WDC
What was Skyzii thinking going into the last corner? Did he genuinely think that Ben wouldnt try the overtake there?
All he needs to do is go....even semi-defensive and he wins.
ben's move in the final turn was legit, and that's what matters in the end. i don't get how anyone is being harsh on that last turn move, anyone would go for that if they had a championship on the line, skyzii would've done the exact same thing and you should probably anticipate that your opponent will try to go for that move. ben's driving on F1 2023 has admittingly been questionable at times, but i don't see anything wrong with this.
That was a Mad max send my Ben in sector 1💀
You did well Alex for winning the race. Funny to see you not celebrate the win because of the final turn incident.
The 3 sec doesn't matter overtake off track that was the 20 sec added
Well done that was very good for you alex
I'm sorry but Skyzii should've seen it coming. It was so obvious that Ben gonna send it in the last corner, especially after the sector 1 send.
Ben deserved the championship. He went for it and it paid off.
Top job Alex
Great job alex
Both Ben and MSkyzii deserved the championship. Won't go over it all again but MSkyzii I hope will be Champion of Season 7
5:48 is karma for not letting Pearja go after u divebombed him final corner
When he mentioned China I was like he can't be hung up on something that happened 2 races ago using it as some weird excuse 🤦♂️
That’s a dirty dive in first sector by Ben sheesh smh
he was gonna give it back but skyzi sat back for drs nah let it go
it was a max vs lewis championship moment basically lmao
Ben is such a melt man
final race what am i doing on saturdays now
alex the divebomber... B16
Watched my first ever Creator Series Stream from you on Saturday.
And my goodness was that controversial, and I still think SkyZii has been hard done by.
His own fault not gonna lie. He chose to take a wider line off track.
Sorry to disturb but when will publish another 2 player career mode that involves your most crashes wit T.Marduk
2021 abu dhabi moment
clear they need stewards, because this "verstappen" rule of being allowed to push your opponent off track then keeping the place is a joke, online and irl. and ben sending it on skyzii and not getting a pen changes the championship . but a great season overall
its an illegal overtake by skyzi anyway, behind going off and did not lift off at all and ended up ahead, fully deserved pen
Regardless of your thoughts on the rule, getting official stewards in wouldn’t help the matter, as those stewards would be there to enforce the rule you don’t like
Ben definitely champion
If its real f1 rules ben gets a 10 second time penalty fir causing a collision in sector 1
Yeah I agree but skyzii still gets his 20 secs so he still wins it
Is elray not gonna be in next season? Please say he won’t , ruins it for everyone
Ain’t no way he said “real life rules”
Why wouldn’t he? The racing rules in real life are even stricter than on the game. So either way Ben wins.
@@squalidseal6126 then 10 secs penalty on Ben and Skyzi lol
@@rama-n-iBen was going to give the position back but skyzi wanted drs so never took it
@@OllieDunn06 ok, there’s still the problem of driving.
Skyzi and Ben would both be disqualified if it’s the real rules that’s just it. Penalties and in unsportsmanlike racing. the mass validation they have to prove is maddening
#freedragonflies
Ben won the title
Ben deserves it, SkyZii done track limits regardless
This is really giving me Abu Dhabi 2021 vibes, just think about it....
Skyzii is Hamilton and Ben is Verstappen. Let's see, ohh we got:
Skyzii pulling away, with Ben not having the pace to catch him, a.k.a. championship basically in the bag.
Then someone hits the wall and causes a safety car with under 10 laps to go, letting Ben catch up
Safety car ends and (even though he boxed too) Skyzii is on older tyres than Ben.
Ben overtakes Skyzii with an insane divebomb thats just barely not over the line, same as Verstappen.
And there was even a debate afterwards about if the overtake was legal.
That's 5 similarities. Utterly insane ending.
The score is now 1-1 between FIA Formula one and Creator series in
"Insane championship endings"
This was more on ben, he pushed him wide that's what caused the penalty. And his teammate causing a safety car on purpose in the fight for the title doesn't help.
Any proof that it was on purpose?
@@JoshuaKittle he had wheel spin but decided to keep his foot in even tho he was heading towards the wall
He was slightly ahead at the apex, it’s Ben’s corner all day. Skyzii didn’t yield and got pushed. Legit overtake.
Ben was ahead at apex....made the corner without contact. According to f1 rules it is a legal overtake.
Even if you take away the 3 second penalty....he left the track....whilst behind....and rejoined it ahead. That's leaving the track and gaining an advantage....so guaranteed penalty every time.
Skyzii should've been given 25 second penalty on illegal last lap pass on Ben Daly.
No doubt that Skyzii took a ridiculous line through the last corner by leaving the door open, but honestly I'd say that Ben hitting him in S1 was arguably worse, just typical Ben sending it everywhere for no good reason. I can see why Skyzii's move wasn't legal, but I can't say that Ben's (in S1) was any better
Yeah the S1 move was definitely worse. But he let Skyzi keep the position and then overtook him on the straight. Could Skyzi have left more room at the corner? Sure, but he didn’t need to coz Ben wasn’t alongside. I think if Ben had just shoved him off track and kept the position then it definitely would’ve been a penalty, but what Skyzi did on the last lap would’ve negated that penalty anyway. Ben would’ve got 10 seconds, but Skyzi’s 20 second would still count so there was no point penalising Ben when it wouldn’t change the result
@@WAOF1_Toby honestly at this point I don't even care about the result or the penalties, I just hope that Ben eventually realises that racing like this leads to absolutely nothing except for unnecessary and annoying drama
@@roastedteeth922 I think we have slightly different opinions on this. I see it as hard racing but within the rules (apart from S1 incident). But yeah Ben needs to be a bit cleaner/respectful
@roastedteeth922 tbf the standard in the series is terrible especially with Elray. We had him literally take out people in Miami or Saudi last year and he is still driving every week
@@WAOF1_Toby nah I pretty much completely agree about this race, what I'm saying is about the entire series, especially this season. Each driver has made a mistake and gone too far at some point, but only Ben is completely oblivious to his wrongdoings. The guy drives like everyone is an AI, and still acts like it's their fault
ben didnt have pace at all, but after the amount of insane luck he had with the sc , he had more hunger to win, skyzi kinda stupid to leave the last corner so OPEN , thats so embarrasing, it was obvious from a mile that he was gonna send it there
So, Ben deserves a 5 second penalty for shoving SkyZii off in the sector 1 right hander and the last corner is genuinely legit. Skyzii left the door wide open, Ben took it. Now, Skyzi overtook Ben off track which should be a 10 second penalty. Keep in mind, creator series introduced real life Formula 1 rules for the last race. Based on that Ben's send into the final corner becomes legit, or else Piastri should get a penalty for pushing Sainz off. And, Skyzii gets a penalty same way Magnussen got a penalty for overtaking Albon off the track in Jeddah. So, anyone calling it controversial, well, it is not. It's straight forward penalties and that gives Ben the title.
SPOILER BLOCK
Spoiler!!!
You cant send it like Ben does and allow it, the guy is worse than Elrey
Is everyone completely ignoring bens teammate bringing the safety car out with 10 laps left? Clear cheating to win a creator series 😂😂😭😂😭😂😭😭
It was a reserve not his teammate. Literally a random guy
Ben is a good driver but not a good racer.
Alex is OBJECTIVELY one of the (if not) the best driver, and he deserves to win another title.
This one however…yeah, Skyzii robbed
skyzii robbed
nah
Even if the 3 second was removed it’s still a clear illegal overtake. Left the door wide open so Ben was first in the apex. No one was robbed
Just wasnt tho
He left the door open
Nah shouldnt have opened the door like that. Everybody would dive into that corner and he drove off way to much to claim he tryed.
Ben is soo dirty, he has been a terrible sportsman forever….
Can’t stand the guy anymore
