That is normal... but what is not normal is placing the life of animals on a higher pedestal than any human life. That is a proven connector to being a sociopath. It's one of the main sociopathic tendencies according to peer reviewed studies. Also, to even think that it's fair to compare the two and judge humans and specific animals on an equal scale shows a serious lack of education.
There are no more NYC Italian neighborhoods, (like in the old days). small pockets here and there but barely existing (Howard Beach is even fading). They all moved to Long Island, New Jersey, Florida etc. Kids do not grow up in the streets like they used to in these neighborhoods. Its a new ethnic demographic. Bensonhurst is mostly Chinese. Pelham Bay becoming mostly Latino. The mob collapsed due to infighting, treachery, backstabbing, dishonor, doing dirty deeds, envy of more successful guys by lower ranking members, high ranking members setting bad examples. New criminal organizations taking precedent. Cartels etc. The people who don't understand my comments are not even from NYC and never set foot in anywhere else but Times Square if at all.
It is refreshing and comforting to see how much you love Fluff Fluff and your pets. I can totally relate. The worst, absolutely worst, loss in my adult life was my Buddy (black lab who was my constant shadow for 10 years) I probably will never recover.
Here I am a grown man, and don't look like a soft touch, but that baby was my heart.
I can understand the dichotomy of being a grown man and a mush when it comes to our babies.

Dom in my humble opinion Carlo Gambino was a visionary. He made a decision before he died that he wanted to bring his family ahead so he picked Paul to be the boss who was business mined instead of Dellacrose who was a true gangster. I feel he felt that was the future. Not saying he wanted to give up the street ways but incorporate it into an amalgamation of both to make it stronger!
I agree with that also. I think that Carlo seen where the Mob was heading and he wanted it to turn into a more legit organization. Guys having legitimate business. During the 60’s-90’s there were bodies on the streets everywhere you looked and Carlo knew that it was bad for business. Guys like Gotti were thugs and didn’t know anything about business. Dom first off "Fluff Fluff" will soon not be in any pain and just try and remember all the funny times like her boring your toe off! Pets are more faithful than people unfortunately. I get it. I had a pit bully and she was a big ham. I'm a Mets fan her name was Shea. Just a funny friendly sweet dog. Looked kinda scary but far from mean. Just a big ham. Lived for 14 years. A long time for her breed. It was so hard to let go but in the end she had cancer as well and in pain. I had to do what I had to do. But the memories are worth it. Took a couple years but now have another dog I got from the pound. A mixed breed pitbull boxer and another softie. Sadie is her name and she is also just like Shea as fat as my partner! You'll get through it and from what you've been through you'll get through anything. As hard as it will be at first. Please remember the good funny times every time you get down and you'll feel better. Also knowing no more pain. Keep up the great channel. I'm a fan. And that says a ton! I'm 56 as well. And I know what time it is. Just like you. Salute 💪

Dom I know what you mean about bringing your beloved cat in to a vets office to be put down. I felt the same way. Had to put down two of my dogs within a year of each other. First one we took to the vets office it felt so strange my dog had to go where he did not understand on a cold stainless steel table. My second one had to be put down thank god someone told about services where vets come to your house and put your pet down. Best thing I could ever do. Pet lays on where ever you want and they put to sleep. Know it’s a hard decision. Got tears running down my eyes now relating this story.
