We like scrap yard videos, it’s the machines that do it. Damn I’m all excited again 😂👍
😂 Thanks
Just finished watching today's live stream. Your wire stripper sometimes squeeks, groans, and has a few broken parts. Keeps chugging along. But, that chain is going to break and fly across your shop , I think soon. It doesn’t look standard. I thought, about a year ago, Steve had or said he could get one. I highly recommend getting a replacement soon.
Thanks!
i like how you use the old reliable aginst the new its fun just watching your videos thats why i alway watch .thanks for shareing and glad oliver is still helping out too
Thanks!
Hi Project Shop FL & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks Project Shop FL & Friends Randy
Thanks Randy
That Vevor I just got isn't a bad little stripper...for what it is. It's slow and I've had a few minor issues, but for $350...I can't complain too much. And I literally ran one ton through it last month. But, when your comparison is the Copper King....everything else pales in comparison!! 😂👍👊😎
Any stripper is better than no stripper. lol
When he mentioned problems with "Stripmeister type strippers", I know he's talking about wires slipping off of cutting wheel. (That was a HUGE problem with my Golden Wire Stripper, a pocket stripper with a cutting wheel from eBay, which I stopped using in frustration.) I own Coppermine 101 pocket stripper & 302 cutting wheel stripper. The wires don't slip off of 302 cutting wheel because it has red wire clamps on either side of cutting wheel to prevent that. The 101 uses holes, so wires can't avoid blade, but more resistance than 302.
Thanks for sharing. 👊
You should see if your land lord will give you a rent credit to get the electric panel upgraded. They upgrade their property and you conserve cost. You could even do several videos on the retrofit and scrap the left overs. If you get one of your customers to do the work it could be a win-win-win-win.
Thanks for the suggestion
Hey D, you said your gonna sharpen those blades on the lathe? Im real interested in see that, hope that video is soon. Love this channel man, been a sub since early on, keep doing what you do, thanks. 25:38
Yes, I am gonna work on the lathe next week and it will be one of the first projects.
Great score! Toss a NOS kit on it and use it as a Burnout Car.
Thanks for the suggestion 😂
Lol at the owner of that building, asking you to replace the panel. By the look of it, it looks like a federal pacific panel, in most states insurance company won’t insure until you until you replace it
It is FP and looks like a fire hazard. lol
nice video demonstrating the advantages and disadvantages of the two machines you use. For my part, as an amateur, I use a machine that you will not like because it is so slow but I am only an amateur.👍
At least you got a machine.
Best part of copper king is the zip tiees that stop the rattling!
😂😂😂 👊
Still like that big machine! Don't think I get enough wire for something like that but nice watching it work ! Full watch bro !! Great footage!
Thank you!
The drag race went to hell in a hand basket.
Yea the Chinese build quality showed its ugly head
I don’t know about her but I’m excited 🤣👍
Thanks!
If Florida even passes the law for a bottle bill for plastic and Aluminum cans and was paying 10 cents per can or bottle would you ever get to gathering and retur jng them for the deposit.
I watched and read a few articles about people in states that already do that and those people do pretty good.
A guy in NYC drives a box truck and goes around to his customers and fills his truck up almost everyday. He said he does between 300 to 500 per day.
I wish they did that everywhere.
Great video my friend
Thank you 👍
Witam i pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski 🇵🇱👍👍👍
👍👍
Helllllll ya brotherrrrrr 🎉
👍👍👊👊
Thanks for the video bud
Thanks for watching. 👊
@1:24 have you thought about welding tube guides for the wire to the blades on the inside?
On the model 1000? If so there is not much room and its all aluminum
Except for the blade rollers, I’m pretty sure you can make something so much better.
Thanks I think so too.
I would gladly go to a stripping partly lol 😂
😂😂😂
That thumbnail 😂
😂😂😂
Great stripping video .
Thanks!
Just went to Amazon and the do sell multiple sizes of drive chains. More than bike chains. Size is determined by the dimension of the center of the pin on one link. Hard to tell on video. For example, a #40 chain is 1/2 inch (pin to pin). Many sizes available. Is 2 feet long enough? Let me know your size, and I'll send you one to try.
Center of pin to center of pin.
I will check it out I was out for the weekend
Hi Derek it looks like the smaller striper is put on straight up an down it should be laying parrell that's why it twists and makes needles.
Mount it upside down and it will still twist. Maybe sharper blades will improve performance. Question, does either blade stack move up/down? I remember you took it all apart. Missing a shim or misalignment? Just a thought.
I ran the Model 1000 both ways and it will make the needles no matter what way its mounted
I don't think they can move but I will check thanks for the suggestion
Cool demonstration. Chinese 👎👎 Made in the USA Copper King 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
So when will you make me one again?😂
Better yet I need something to get into these MRis I’m gonna find that 1,000 pounds of copper inside or die trying!
Hopefully soon
Maybe look in to a jaws of life. lol
