This came at a perfect time, I just started reading Chronicles again! My favorite thing about the genealogy in the beginning is how it shows how God kept His covenant to Abraham to make his descendants very many. The rest of the book also displays how God has kept His covenant with David, with his son, and with Israel. It’s a picture and song of how God is with His people, and how He’s faithful to them. Love this episode! Thank you guys for all you do, I’ve been incredibly blessed!

The thing about "royal historians" having access to libraries which were either in palaces or The Temple reminds me of the fact that The Word has been written in our hearts. As you mentioned, the order of the TaNaK places Chronicles at the end of the OT which seamlessly connects it with Jesus' genealogy starting with Matthew. We need to return to the ROOTS of our faith: History of the People of the BOOK of INSTRUCTIONS! Blessings & Shalom David & Seth

If you would have told me that a random reference to Hamilton would be what got me to finish my first overview of a chapter with Spoken Gospel (or one part of said overview anyway) I would have called you a liar. Looking forward to the next episode!
