How to CHARGE the BATTERY of JBL FLIP 6 Bluetooth Speakers

- This video explains how to charge the battery of the JBL FLIP 4 Bluetooth speaker.
You can either use the supplied USB Type C charging cable together with the charging cube of your smartphone (or other USB ports, like e.g. on your laptop).
Another option is to use the charing cord from a Nintendo Switch or your laptop (depending on if it is charged via USB-C).
The charging time for a full charge is 2.5 hours with a powerful enough charger.
The speaker does not transmit the battery percentage information over Bluetooth.

My speaker whenever I plug it in it makes a weird beeping noise

my flip 6 doesn't make a noise when i charge it but i've only charged it when its off. i did see a review of the speaker, and the reviewer said that if there's water or any kind of debris in the charging port the flip 6 is supposed to notify you with an alert. that could be what your hearing. id try to clean the port with a pin, rubbing alcohol, and some compressed air to see if that stops the beeping.

When I charge mine it makes a sound similar to pressing down on the same piano keys over and over. It's bone dry so it can't be moisture.
Hello. Mine was doing that too. I used it till it died. I reset it and waited a minute or so. I was using a big samsung charging block. I used a small i phone block instead. Its charging now and no beeping noise

The QuickStart guide makes it seem like the light would be fully on if the battery was dead. Since that made no sense I started looking. Thanks for the confirmation!

In that case I’d suggest to use a 1 amp charger. I am using an older iPhone charger for that. 🙂

As far as I am aware of there is no issue to use the speaker while charging. 🙂
My iPhone brick gets hot while the flip 6 is charging 😩

Ah, did you check how many amps your charger can provide?
If it’s only a 1A charger, then that may be the reason. With a 2.5A charger this should not happen.

Yea I cut on speaker and the bluetooth comes on for 4 seconds and cuts off what's wrong not playing while charging either?
