@@tat3179 It is most certainly going to replace humans in certain jobs. Some sooner than others. Sure industries will evolve to compensate for this new tool that is being developed, but you can be your ass that the Companies and Corporations that can afford to use this stuff will. AI doesn't need to sleep, doesn't need time off. No sick days, or maternity leave.
CS field is about to be gutted, if they can actually get an LLM to the point where it can code on the same level as a senior software engineer. There are many companies pushing to reach that goal as we speak, and that's not the only thing AI is being developed for.
@@ugib8377 It will drastically reduce alot of jobs, sure, but replace completely, no. No matter what people say, AI is a tool like a hammer in your tool box, nothing more nothing less. A powerful hammer, but it doesn't have the need to create. Humans drive that. We must not overestimate the impact of AI, just like we overestimate the impact of weaver machines back in the 1800s.

I went to college for classical music performance but decided to become a software engineer and I've often thought about software generated music. When I write songs I don't stumble upon the chord progressions, those are all math. The melodies are the only "creative" parts and those could arguably be generated without complex regression algorithms
The AI that lets you create a 1 min clip with all production will def be a challenge to the movie industry - in about 16 months. Book it. Even, or perhaps especially, when reaches $100 a minute in fees. Bold new world in entertainment.
