Most people aren't scared of AI at all. They're too busy living life, playing drums, guitars, painting something or doing artistry, gardening, shopping, playing with each other, going to the bathroom, cooking, taking their pets for a walk. Technology is super crafty. The average man or woman has no idea what's going on behind their back. I see AI robot pets to keep us company. What am I, an autistic savant? The day a chuck of metal, plastic, silicon, grease, and rubber replaces my best friend (my dog) is day I hope I no longer live on this planet. Companies are making this stuff so they can sell it. They don't care what the implications are. Answer this question? We know the nature of lightening. It is no mystery why and where it might strike. We tap into fossil fuels and photons, convert them to electricity, and lose energy as heat, when all we really want at the beginning is electricity. Why the hell don't we have metal conductors ascending towards the heavens around all or cities to tap into this energy all around us? The lightening hits the conductor, is mediated by a diverter or something of that nature to modulate/control how much enters the power grid. What we need goes in. What we don't gets grounded into the Earth. Anyone who cares and can pull strings, move this up the ladder so it can be dealt with. No way in hell I'm the only person who is aware of this. It must be suppressed by governments or Big Oil. I'd don't even want to live in the world these shysters are creating. As if I really NEED a robot to make toast and coffee for me in the morning. Doing things, moving around, is healthy for people. This is all a sham to make us believe we need their products. Every machine will break down or malfunction at some point. Fact. We have robots right now. They're called humans. Many are sick and need help. How about just improving them? A ton of legitimate problems need correction. The day a robot has a "collective unconscious", can dream at night to form memories, has modulatory efferent nerves sculpting afferent input, can implement synaptic plasticity, and has a subliminal element incorporated in it via the concept of "summation", is the day I start listening to the proposed merits of AI technology. I cut and past this stuff all over the internet and never get a single response. I can almost guarantee someone is taking it down and keeping it a secret. Looks like I'm going to have to write a book and publish it. A lot of people know what I'm doing. If I go missing, this will not be over.

A.I is not sentient. The lines have been blurred so much that people get slept along with the sci fi narratives. Yes its great tech, and will 'automate' a lot of tasks, but its just software.
Actually, it's NOT "just" software.
You clearly have little to no understanding of AI
@@markupton1417 then please explain. Because they are very literally software prgroms run on gpus. You could make an argument its 'more' than software if run on ipu's, but thats not what is talked about and that tech is still in its infancy.
@@0quisuismoi0 software "initiates" AI. This is why so many AI research luminaries are concerned about further advancement.
If AI were just software we could get every outcome we want.
But it's capabilities "emerge" and we don't really know what it can do or how it does it. There are ample examples of this.
AI is gonna turn into what we least expect
I think so too. I don’t feel like we are very good at predicting true changes and leaps in technology. We usually look back and laugh about how wrong everyone was. Hopefully, at some point, we can figure out how AI can help us to become a better society and world for everyone.

The correct person to speak about AI with is gonna be funny as hell.
