Most entertaining speed/challenge runner I've seen in a while. Just finished Aria of Sorrow for the first time myself and loved it, along with its movement. Super cool seeing you casually destroy the game, or in this case the game destroy you lol. One day you will beat Ironsoul!
Since it's the eldritch terror born of humanity's darkest recesses known as Chaos, would the serpent eat it or does Chaos have others mouths with which to eat Soma's chess pieces?
Exciting run as always! Though there was indeed one signficant inaccuracy in the run: you kept equipping Gorgon when you had Dead Crusader, thereby missing out on a bit of defense. It's difficult to predict how much of a difference that made in the end, since healing was not the issue this time, but it might have saved you an item or two.
Even if he had found a good weapon for graham instead of a gungner there likely weren't any other good weapons left in the remaining checks for julius and chaos
I just saw the most CURSED thing. Apparently, there's an old Ghost Busters cartoon (called 'The Real Ghost Busters') and I think that's where they got the design for Dimitri.
I think the one blunder in the run was you missing that you at one point had rune ring, biphron, bael, and +int armor and needed to kill a final guard on a flat surface.
It's a "Compass" mod that tells you how many soul cannisters or RBY books are in the present area. It's mostly a Qol mod for randomizer settings. Bit of a cheat I say.
He's saving them for later. By the rules of the challenge, when you pick up any weapon or wearable item, you MUST equip it, and whatever you already had is lost forever. (Except the stuff you start the game with.) And you also lose everything every time you beat a boss. So, for example, if Jupiter currently has a katana, he can probably beat Big Golem with it. And if he picks up an item, it could be e.g. Laevatein, which will of course make Big Golem a bit quicker, but now he can't use it for Graham/Julius/Chaos, which would be a much better use for it. The less stuff you pick up early on, the less likely you are to waste something really good.
@Dooger-Bop-5600 You do not. When you beat a boss, you return to your starting weapon and armor, and you can use those against every boss if you never pick anything up. Those are also random for each run, which is why Jupiter is always so excited when he starts with a relatively good weapon. (And so upset when he starts with a bad one.)

"Am I ever going to need that save?"
And a finger on the monkey's paw curls.
But History Refused to Change
Nice Chrono Trigger reference

Chaos eating Soma's pieces when he's not looking kind of vibe
"Rook to-"
*[LOUD CRUNCHING]*
@@SomeDemoMain Rook to my mouth :3

@@SomeDemoMain I like to think it happens but it cant be quite perceived, chaos ATE it just in a way you kinda understand but also not
Like the crunching sound comes from the serpent but the actual piece is decidedly not in the serpent's mouth?
I knew what the starting weapon was gonna be thanks to video title, Mr. Jupiter "Number1 KaiserKnuckle hater" Climb
The iron soul will be conquered one day. I believe in you! (And if it doesn’t it will still be great content lol)

Good call! +4 CON translates into +2 DEF, so extremely marginal, but Dead Crusader would've been better.
How the hell did i predict him getting casual clothes after armor of water purely because he said "back to having good defense"
Ah, roasted Creaking Skull. My favorite Christmas dish.
30:47 Watching that Ripper Fleaman just shooOOOOP right out the top gave me a big laugh. See ya later, little buddy!
5:44 My guess would have been DinnerDog. The man has managed to drill "yo" and "blunder" into my regular vocab.

For some reason when you said "skula again" it reminded me of pingu

The madlad actually heared our prayers and bestowed a new IronSouls video to us! Let's goooo.

Did I see this live? Yes. Do I have a case of seed bleed and remember nothing? Also yes.
Omae wa mou...shindeiru.
Should we start calling the randomizer "Hammer 960"?
What is the definition of insanity again?
Dumb question: whats the blue number to the right of your HP bar?
I think it's the number of save heals he has left.
It should be the amount of souls he can find in the area he's at

How do I get a rom that can skip cutscenes at the start?
Buen video
How do i get to play Iron Soul?
Edit: how do i get this hackrom or whatevs you using?.
The Aria randomizer can be found here: aosrando.surge.sh/
why do you skip almost all of the pickups?
