This is just my opinion, but i don’t like the sound of your new mic. Coincidentally, i just got the Rode wireless GO ll microphone system, did some testing and it works and sounds great!!! Maybe it’s the gain settings or placement of your microphone, something is weird!!

I agree. Turn down the gain on the mic or maybe move further away from your mouth, it sounds like its being over-driven. I also second the Rode wireless system.
