Vespa Ignition setting - the most easy way SIP PERFORMANCE ignition

In this video we show you how to measure and perfectly adjust your SIP Performance ignition. We use the SIP PERFORMANCE ignition, because it is, among many other advantages, very easy to adjust without using a strobe lamp.

1. insert piston stopper into spark plug thread
2. Turn clockwise until the piston hits the stopper
3. reset the degree disc to zero degrees
4. Turn in the opposite direction until the piston hits the stopper (the value should be more or less 300 degrees)
5. insert this value into the TDC calculation (top dead center)
Top Dead Center (TDC) = ((360-x)/2) + x
6. remove the stopper and rotate the disc to the calculated TDC value
7. add the desired ignition point (usually 17 - 19°)
Desired ignition timing e.g. 19° = value Top Dead Center (TDC) + 19
8. turn the Rotor with degree disc until the desired ignition timing value is reached.
9. turn the stator plate until the marking matches the marking on the rotor.
10. fix the stator. Finished.
With the SIP Performance ignition, due to the exact correspondence of the markings on the rotor and the stator, no usage of a strobe-lamp is necessary. With original ignitions we recommend for safety reasons the reflashing of the ignition.

Von WO stammen die sogenannte Markierungen?? "9. drehe die Zündgrundplatte bis Markierung mit der Markierung Polrad übereinstimmt"🤔

Die Markierungen sind auf der SIP Performance Zündung drauf. Sichtbar werden sie, weil man das Lüfterrad abschrauben kann. Bei einer originalen Zündung geht das leider nicht. Ich hoffe ich konnte dir helfen.
