Awww I love that you are able to enjoy the sport with your Dad. Enjoy those moments. They go by so quickly. I lost my Dad two years ago to a tragic farming accident. I wish I had him for one more day. ❤

You really enjoy Michigan we have millions of acers managed for grouse and woodcock hundreds of miles of it
I'm sure I would I haven't had to go to michigan to find grouse though I'll stick to the eastern states ......... for now ;)

hello friend I think you use chokes too narrow, use the 5 * and then two cartucc the first with felt wad Ela second with slightly heavier container, I use lead 10 30g also knock down pheasants

Nice video!! I’m committed to grouse and woodcock hunting after just one hunt last fall. I joined the RGS and have a hunt booked this coming fall. I have to do some traveling to get on grouse because they’re virtually nonexistent in my home state.

i meant newburg new york there was a healthy population of pheasants and grouse and woodcock in new york bak then, especially in the fifties and 60s .
I wish I could have seen those numbers back in the day i only started hitting NY 3 years ago and we have produced decent numbers each year. Don't see any wild pheasants anymore, stocked birds are around though.

Man you should make 5 or 6 videos out of this instead of 1 long one. You would get more views, watch time, etc... that would help your channel out more.
