Good old hide away pub, that's one of my fav spots to stop for refreshments. If you go further down from the pub around to the left, there is a nice little park not far down from there too called Petrie Park, don't go swimming there though. Glenbar rd is a nice scenic rd to ride along, that one and Thinoomba rd is another nice rd near there too. Good work on the video 👍 good see everywhere so green now.
I forget how South East Queensland is ADV bike paradise! And that T7 is unbelievably sweet on these high speed trails. You're not still on stock tires, are you?
Great video on some awesome bikes. Good to see some colour about and water in cks and rivers. Whats your thoughts on the tenere and africa as a allround bike.
think both great bikes ,blue ones more nimble bit more dirt oriented ,both do the job very well At more comfy lazy power chugs along with ease good for big miles , t7 bit more lively motor likes to rev .both are close in performance as in straight line dirt road not much init ,At has more lugging power
Dude I LOVE seeing these two bikes. I'm going to be getting myself one of the two, probably the AT this summer. Simply due to the fact I NEED the touring capabilities of it. I hear the T700 can be uncomfortable for long stretches in the saddle. Question for you man. I come from riding cruisers my entire time on bikes and when I finally get some experience on my ADV bike it's going to be something obviously new to me. My question is how can I start shredding like you do man? What's the best way to learn to get as comfortable as you are in the dirt. Just jumping in and experimenting on some gravel/dirt roads?
No not that ease coming from road cruises ,not something your going pickup overnight ,i been in the dirt over 40 years on bikes best way to learn off road skills power slides is start with a skinny dirt bike get out local forest trails keep at it ,wear protective gear , thanks for watching mate !
Adventure Moto Enduro agreed! If u want a bike u can throw around and have the fun factor then definitely T7, The AT is just to big to throw around safely, specially if u come into a corner to hot u feel every bit of that 240kg, That being said doing a 500k ride on the At is a walk in the park 👌
@@djr60 both good bikes but yeh i here you not many adventure bike you can sit down on the seat and power drift most you have to stand lean over bars ,t7 just suits my body size weight and riding style just perfect for me ,i cant see me selling it for many years ,i been waiting for baby twin like this for years ,
Adventure Moto Enduro , thanks for your reply. Just a quick question about your T7. How do you find it in terms of its ability between the bitumen and the dirt. Is it what we have been all looking for - a bike that will eat up large km's then be able to go down a snotty dirt track to a point of interest? Pretty much what we all have to do living in this vast country of Aus.
@@sawmilldrz757 yep 50% 50% on road off road balance ,its heavy but you don't notice it ,really feels nimble off road , for really snotty gullys wash out rocky hills it will be issue for most as its tall bike and not enduro weight but can be lowered ,still very capable in the right hands ,its great to get out past the great divide were out country opens up ,but i take it up cape york creb and up tele track if not to wet creeks are reasonable ,mine you be lot more weight on with camping gear ,
Thanks again. Amazing to see what a bit of rain does not to mention making the dirt that much better!
