This part 5 to the phonics video series shows a day to day lesson plan to teach Phonics to your child. Introduction to the sound, Activities to be done, and DIY worksheets on Jolly Phonics group 5 is shown. Sounds covered in Jolly Phonics Group 5 are /z/ /w/ /ng/ /v/ /oo/ /oo/. As it can be seen that there are 5 digraphs in this group. These digraphs are explained in detail in the video. Apart from the sounds, how to help your child to write, blending the sounds to form words, and segmenting the words is also covered comprehensively. Follow the video series to teach your kids to reads phonetically.

Ur videos r really very helpful for my 3.5 year daughter ...she get confused for words such as pan and pen such words how to teach the difference
Keep revising the sounds with her frequently. Practise is the key. The more you practise words with e sound and a sound the more she will become clear at it.

Thank you for sharing this phonics series. This group series means a lot to teach my 3 year old daughter by means of games and actions. I know this requires much practice for 3.1year old. She understands the sounds and actions of phonics bt when it comes to blending she is little bit confused in that. So hw can I resolve this?
It's a bit difficult for 3.1 years old to blend and read and it's totally normal too. Till the time she reaches 3.5 to 4 this problem will be resolved. All you can do is practise a lot and not to pressure your kid and yourself too. Start with two letters to blend like ba, ca, da etc. Then come to three-letter words gradually

Mam , I want to know what is concept behind the jolly group ,why specific letters in group 1, other letter in gr 2 and so on
When sounds s, a, t, p, i, n are done the many words can be formed using them as compared to a, b, c, d, e, f.

These words are trick words. Aap sounds padhayen air abhi airf wahi examples from aur words ki practise karayen jo word bank mein diye hain( it’s in the description box of video). Aise words ko padhane ka tareeka aage k videos mein bataungi

Hum log jis tarah se pronounce karte hain to aati hi hai because we don’t have our mother tongue as English. When native English speakers speak it to nahi aati hai. Our accent and pronunciation differ which is absolutely fine
