Anne Hathaway is such a force. She is solidifying herself as one of the most versatile and talented actresses of not only her generation, but in the industry. I put her with the greats like Meryl, Jack, Julianne Moore, Laura Linney, Daniel Day Lewis...
I agree. At the beginning of her career the industry tried to make her into some new kind of Julia Roberts but she has proven to be way more interesting than that.
Love Thomasin Mckenzie! Such a beautiful, kind and talented young actress. Speaking as someone around the same age as her, I can tell she has such a bright future ahead of her. 😍🥰🥰
Just watched this. Blown away! I did not the that twist coming from a mile away. Hathaway finally broke through with a character that made me forget I was watching Anne Hathaway. She was Rebecca! The arc of Thomasins character! Wow she is one to watch for. The photography was beautiful and the music...ugh! Loved it!
Another movie with no light. Directors no longer rely on plot and characters to tell stories. They just use bad lighting, camera filters and noisy soundtracks with scary music.
This is a PERFECT pivot for Anne. Goodbye princess diaries forever. LOL. The only way to cancel a typecast is doing the opposite and extreme. A father figure star from TV nails a child slavery bad guy role in a movie, freedom...broken typecast.
Cliche. But this really had two “powerhouse” performances from Mckensie and Hathaway. Anne played a different role than usual and I hardly recognized her. Thomasin had a subtle desperation and darkness to her that isn’t really seen until later in the story. In fact you don’t really know what this is about until the third act.
If i had a nickel for every time Thomasin McKenzie got obsessed with a blonde, i would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice
@@lockofhair79 yep that’s what I was thinking, I specifically pictured Rebecca w a trans atlantic accent, but she kinda sounds British in the trailer? Which seems so random
This movie was such a disappointment and queer-baiting as its finest (or worst). A wanna-be Carol knock-off without any of the refinement, chemistry, or follow through. Siiiiiiigh.
She doesn't have much range, but she's definitely not a boring/bad actress. She had good performances in Rachel Getting Married, Les Misérables, Armageddon Time, etc.

Always remeber Nicole Kidman, and i mean always🙃😊
@@esig7695thank YOU, I was about to state the same
Anne Hathaway doesn’t get her dues sometimes I feel like . And yeah Nicole Kidman is world class
I agree. At the beginning of her career the industry tried to make her into some new kind of Julia Roberts but she has proven to be way more interesting than that.
Y Cate Blanchett.
Let's go Thomasin! She's come flying out the gate with her career - always special to watch.
it's giving Carol as a thriller and I love it
THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING
Came here to say this!!
Actually it is a mystery version of Carol.
Anne has been killing it!
Love Thomasin Mckenzie! Such a beautiful, kind and talented young actress. Speaking as someone around the same age as her, I can tell she has such a bright future ahead of her. 😍🥰🥰
I’m so glad Ottessa Moshfegh’s books are finally getting the representation they deserve
so excited this INCREDIBLY talented author is getting her books made into film,.. i hope more will come!
Anne Hathaway is fully embracing her villain-ness.
I think Anne Hathaway has become a better actress than she used to be.
well put!
Thomasin and Anne on one screen?! I'M SEATED! 🖤

I definitely would like to see this. Anne is a great actress & I've never seen a movie she played in that I didn't really like.
Ann is a streamline actress! Thomason is on another level!
Shea Whigham, I'm in. Anne Hathaway, I'm in.
One year of working with Miranda Priestly does this to ya.
First person i see is an icon, the second person I see is a LEGEND, the first line anne says, IM SOLD 😂
I heard her voice on the animation called Pantheon first, and fell in love immediately. A very cute and unique sounding voice.
This is like if Carol (2015) were a thriller
What could be better than "a supremely stylish psychological thriller"? And it's getting great reviews ... can't wait!!!
This very much gives Thriller Version of Carol :D
Anne, the maturity 😮...
Looks beautiful...sinister 🎉
I read the book I am so excited for the movie!!!
Damn Thomasin McKenzie & Anne Hathaway what a pairing , can't wait to watch this
Anne Hathaway is so amazing.
Thomasin is so biuetifull and absolutely gorgious
Also cant wait to watch this movie
Anne change her voice in this film 😮 nice to see her in sort of diff movie genre. She always deliver 😊
This is going to win Anne Hathaway an oscar!
Anne hathaway is one of my favortie actress
Thomasin's accent 😍😍😍
You say Anne...I say YES!....Anne....YES!....Anne....YES!.....
loved the book, can't wait for this
Thomasin Mckenzie sure seems to have cornered the "mousy waif" market.
Anne Hathaway never fails.
WHEN?
Thomasin McKenzie has the potential of becoming the next Natalie Portman or even Jodie Foster! Such talent.
Watching Anne Hathaway bring Rebecca to life in this trailer is incredible! She carries herself exactly as I imagined.
where I can watch this movie??
Anne Hathaway is super sultry in this clip! Can't wait to see the movie!!
Great cast. Can't wait to watch it
I'm so down for this
Holy crap, this looks good!!
Gente aonde eu acho essa filme completo???
Anne Hathaway is so talented I wanna see her do more villainous roles I feel that's more her vibeee.
What is rhe sinopsis of the book? Can someone tell me.?😢
YIKES! Looks good. I'm not much for gory horror films but I like psychological thrillers.
Looks interesting :) I feel we have another Fight Club non-existing character situation.
Giving me some "Carol" vibes
This looks terrific!
Thomasin McKenzie!!
Another movie with no light. Directors no longer rely on plot and characters to tell stories. They just use bad lighting, camera filters and noisy soundtracks with scary music.
She looks startlingly beautiful as a blonde.
Work ANNE!!!❤
Nope, I need what little sleep I get now.
wow, second trailer i've seen today that doesnt tell the whole story a-b ... things are looking up!
This is a PERFECT pivot for Anne.
Goodbye princess diaries forever. LOL.

Cool movie 🎬
Be careful who you make friends with
This is what Todd Haynes's Carol would have been if Carol had shot the private investigator.
Omg aim lovin this so muchhhh can not waaait
Anne looks like Rose McGowan 😊
Carol 2 ❤

Snoop!!!
Trailers for the trailer.
If i had a nickel for every time Thomasin McKenzie got obsessed with a blonde, i would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice
Lol. I mean, technically, Rebecca (Anne Hathaway’s character) is a red-head in the book. Don’t know why they changed her to a blonde for the movie.
We’re waiting Annie, we are waiting 🙏
Anne
Who is Eileen? Ellens wife?
Hollywood royalties❤❤😂😂
Something wicked this way comes...
Love this video! Looking forward to your content! -- "Success is a continuous journey of self--discovery and growth.."
I really love Ottesah Moshfegh
There is a storm.coming Mr Wayne
Princess Mia and Elsa Korr. Neat.
❤
She a lebenese.
That's right, the country...
Me la vi y :0 wow...
Somehow this movie reminds of Ratched
I don't think Rebecca actually exists.
If Alfred Hitchcock directed Carol…
OMG OMG OMG BROOO WHAT IS HAPPENING
Had potential but fell way short
does this have a lesbian relationship in it? ia Anne our new lesbian icon actress?
Martin Angela Lopez Patricia Martinez Scott
Garcia Steven Taylor Daniel Miller Betty
😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
That’s Harlequinns, I wannacry too
Why is Hathaway's character speaking with a British accent? I've heard her with one in a different movie, and it was not good.
I don’t want to spoil it, but having read the book, this is an important detail
@@lockofhair79I have read the book, and is it? I don’t rmbr them even mentioning she was British at all. This feels random
@@lockofhair79 Ah, thanks.
@@ictlab1345 she’s doing more of a trans-Atlantic accent it seems, which tracks

This is gonna be a fucked up lesbian Casblanca, Carol Pt. 2.
Clark Ronald Miller Brenda Johnson Carol

Who gets billing over A Hathaway? Whoa
Maybe because Anne Hathaway is not the main character?
Me gusta esa diferencia de edad. 🤭
one of the worst movies i have ever seen!
This is some absolute trash DAMN I WASTED MY TIME
This look Boring 😢
It was so boring.........HORRIBLE.
Thanks for the tip
This movie was such a disappointment and queer-baiting as its finest (or worst). A wanna-be Carol knock-off without any of the refinement, chemistry, or follow through. Siiiiiiigh.
anne is so boring
and bad actress
She's actually a very good actress.
I disagree
You are Absolutely Blind

Trailers need intros now?
