The first movie / book was perfect the way it was and should have ended there. I've purposely not watched any of the sequels as for me, it ended where it should have.

It was especially hard to find out about Mr. Darcy's death, Bridget doesn't deserve such grief and it's a shame to see how they make it look like the main character doesn't care about her husband's death at all. And then there's the fact that in the last film there was a character played by Patrick Dempsey, who was supposedly the son's godfather, but we see Hugh Grant again.
I can't wait to see Bridget Jones 4, l had reservations about it, but the trailer looks amazing for the last one, l love Bridget Jones and Renèe Zellweger plays the character to perfection🥰

Zellweger is such a different girl. She's quite specific. A bit hard to cast in just anything. And yet she is such a welcome presence and wonderful actress. She's had great moments in every kind of film.
