You taught me!! I am learning to be me!! I love carving. Literally kept me from going crazy.
My story. I had 6 strokes. Had to learn to talk and walk all over. I used to be right handed, now I'm left handed. Right hand never came back. After going through that (and more) I learned that "art" helps me to get up in the morning. To keep going. To help with depression and suicidal thoughts.

Rex is completely correct...each of us should follow our own instincts and a personal style will develop from doing so...prime example is you and many of the other carvers that are being followed...just as with famous artists from years..decades..centuries ago..when a viewer can pick out one of their favorite artists..then you know it's because of their style..so yes..definitely do you

Another great carve jordy the eagle looks better around the eye.ill chec6k more of his stuff but what ive seen looks great .your a good teacher jordy thats why i keep watching you i watch others but they aint as good and im not just saying that and yes you always have your own style i have only yust done 12 carvings and i think that there is a recuring theme its called bad but ill get better and i like every one i enjoy doing it cheers mate mick
