I have done Pune to Kannur in duke 390 2017 with my wife, compare to my other bike (r15 v2 ) she felt a lot more comfortable in duke. But seats are too hard for anything more than 300km one shot. I am short as well ;) 5 feet 7 inches. I can barely reach the ground, using shoes will solve this to an extend.

As a duke owner (2016 model) the review is perfect except mileage . mileage will be 30 to 32 kmh when your in highway and city you will get 20 to 22 kmh
But heating is a real factor....but stock exhaust sound was more louder than fan sound😁....but no one will beat old one in acceleration....but Michelin lasted for 23k kms (entire Coimbatore- Leh - Coimbatore)....and I don't do track rides....and the feel you get in older one's sound while engine braking is dopp dopp....and I switched to HH brake pads....seat yeah korache vedanikumm.....build quality in older one is a lil downside...

I have also tried my hands on duke 390 old model and I had near death experience which I enjoyed and felt shockingly bad at the same time as I was flying literally with both the tyres in air for a moment and then landed safely. why I enjoyed and why I got shocked at the same time is whole another story which I might share in my channel sometime near future.

Good review. But disagree with the mileage part. If you ride it very very sanely on highways it can go really up 40. With very gentle throttle and maintaining a speed of 90 to 100 kmph constantly for a long distance, it can easily give you 35+ kmpl. Again, this is not by the speedometer indication. You will really feel it how fast you need to refuel it if you ride it very hard. As a person traveling from Bnglr to Clt, I've tested this multiple times with another bike riding along with me. This is the same case with other riders too who had mentioned. Note: To achieve that mileage, again you need to be very gentle with the throttle and the speed you maintain it and of course the bike should be in decent condition.

But heating is a real factor....but stock exhaust sound was more louder than fan sound😁....but no one will beat old one in acceleration....but Michelin lasted for 23k kms (entire Coimbatore- Leh - Coimbatore)....and I don't do track rides....and the feel you get in older one's sound while engine braking is dopp dopp....and I switched to HH brake pads....seat yeah korache vedanikumm.....build quality in older one is a lil downside...

I have also tried my hands on duke 390 old model and I had near death experience which I enjoyed and felt shockingly bad at the same time as I was flying literally with both the tyres in air for a moment and then landed safely. why I enjoyed and why I got shocked at the same time is whole another story which I might share in my channel sometime near future.

Good review. But disagree with the mileage part. If you ride it very very sanely on highways it can go really up 40. With very gentle throttle and maintaining a speed of 90 to 100 kmph constantly for a long distance, it can easily give you 35+ kmpl. Again, this is not by the speedometer indication. You will really feel it how fast you need to refuel it if you ride it very hard. As a person traveling from Bnglr to Clt, I've tested this multiple times with another bike riding along with me. This is the same case with other riders too who had mentioned.
Note: To achieve that mileage, again you need to be very gentle with the throttle and the speed you maintain it and of course the bike should be in decent condition.
