Although sounds a bit nervous there were some really excellent vocal choices she made in this. Few of the adlibs could have stayed off but the art of live is figuring out the best arrangement. This song is a CLASSIC though. Love her albums 🔥
I think it's fair to say she was a LiL timid but the stage has too much going on. Love her dress tho. She sounded like she couldn't her herself. Something was off but any who she still has great control and has gotten better:-)
I wish her label had pushed her more but they were going under at the time. Also Matthew was still trying to sabotage her. She's done really well as an artist since.
I don't understand why Matthew Knowles tried to sabotage LeToya Luckett's musical career when, musically speaking, she posed no threat to Beyonce even within the group Destiny's Child ... LeToya Luckett, after being kicked out of Destiny's Child (DC4), was trying to make a place for herself in the music world, because in Destiny's Child, apart from being a backing singer and dancer in the group, she was never allowed to express her talent, she never had solo parts to sing in the official songs and live concerts of Destiny's Child (DC4) ...
SHE WAS EXTREMELY NERVOUS AND THATS WHY IT WAS SO MUCH GOING ON ON STAGE.. SHE WASN'T READY TO BE SOLO JUST YET... IT HAPPENS TO THE BEST OF EM AND SHE HAS IMPROVED TREMENDOUSLY...THATS ALL THAT COUNTS.
@@clydeherndon359 promo was better for this album her second one was better her label dropped the ball wasting her second album because of budgets cuts smh she had to pay for her video for good to me herself.
I would have liked LeToya Luckett's voice to have been valued within the group Destiny's Child (DC4) it's a shame that on the album "The writings on the wall" she didn't have any solo parts to sing in the songs and even in general, in the group's official songs and live concerts, LeToya Luckett never had any solo parts to sing, she was always in the background as a dancer and backing singer for the group ... Matthew Knowles, Beyonce's father and manager of Destiny's Child, has always declared that it wasn't up to him to decide who should or shouldn't sing the solo parts, but strangely enough, when the producers wanted LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett to have solo parts to sing in some of the group's songs, Matthew was firmly and categorically opposed, especially when it came to LeToya. Matthew and LeToya weren't exactly on friendly terms, but fortunately time has sorted things out, and they've made up ...

She definitely has a lighter soprano tone that was missing from DC3, but strongest voice? No. Each of DC3 could blow her away in terms of vocal power. We can give LeToya props without lying.
I'm not questioning LeToya's vocal abilities, LeToya can and does sing very well, but to say she sings better than Beyonce is a lie. Technically speaking, vocally and musically, Beyonce is far superior to LeToya, and it's not for nothing that in Destiny's Child (DC4) Beyonce was the group's first lead singer and LeToya was the group's soprano backing vocalist ... And as well as being an excellent singer, Beyonce is also a good performer and today, she's a superstar ...
She could sing but definitely wasn’t as good as Kelly let alone beyonce. Beyonce and Kelly were miles ahead of the other girls vocally. It only made sense to have them lead the songs. Letoya and Michelle were average vocalists. Nothing amazing but they could certainly hold a note. Latavia was average as well but a bit more on the higher end. Now go up about 4-5 tiers and you have Kelly who is a proficient+ vocalist. About two tiers above that you have Beyonce, who was a great+ vocalist. It’s not that the others couldn’t sing, it’s just that there was a huge difference in skill.
@@Ace-zc9hv You must not be very knowledgeable about vocal pedagogy if you would make such a ludicrous statement as Kelly Rowland not being able to sing. I’ll end this conversation here. You should educate yourself.
