$200 to TAHITI?! French Bee [Premium Blue] A350 Papeete to San Francisco

- Hello and welcome to France’s best budget airline!
Today we will be flying French Bee from the island of Tahiti in French Polynesia to San Francisco. This is one of their busiest routes as the plane starts and ends it’s journey in Paris Orly and uses San Francisco as a stop to pick up fuel and passengers. The flight was about 50% French and 50% Americans which tells me that the market of San Francisco draws in the American crowd they’d like to keep the planes at full capacity.
French Bee doesn’t have a business class cabin, instead optimizing passenger counts by making the cabin all economy with a few rows of premium economy, which is what we will be trying out today. I’m curious what your thoughts are on this new-to-me airline and if you think the $200 fare is worth it for the reduced services.

It was the back of the premium economy cabin. Don’t remember the exact seat though. Enjoy Paris!

@Patrick Shea - I am Considering doing this from PPT-SFO ... I am 6'2" - taking the family (all of whom are much smaller). Don't think I can handle economy. Do you feel this is acceptable, particularly if I take an aisle seat to avoid the "pinky-to-thumb" width crawl space to get out? Also, was 18" width too narrow of a feel?
The seats aren’t the most comfortable, but I had plenty of room in economy class for my knees. Granted I am 5’9” so if you have any concern, premium economy may be the way to go. Depending on the date you travel, it can be only a couple hundred extra and includes a free meal and baggage

Frenchbee is famous for its 10 seat in a row economy class in Airbus A350 als known as torture class.

No measurements, but they did weigh them and put a tag on them. It is a budget airline, so I wasn’t expecting to be able to carry on too much still
Nice review! One question since it looks like u were on the last row of prem econ. Was the recline limited at all by the bulkhead behind u? Planning to fly lax to ory and I want to make sure to get a good recline for sleep. Thank you.
While I don’t have exact measurements, I can say that based on what it looked like, it seemed to be equal to the recline of the seat in front of me

Hey Patrick, Some people don't like any constructive criticism, but i hope you are one that can value it in an effort to be better. You should re-watch your video and see if it was necessary to leave a negative after every comment, whether you were talking about the food, service, coffee or tea (I would have just asked again for coffee if they got it wrong), seats etc. Even when you try to say something positive you end with a negative? I appreciate knowing the good and the bad in reviews, but if you watch some of your competitors on UA-cam I think you will find that some of the more successfully content creators can occasionally just give as compliment, without immediately qualifying or downgrading it. Just a suggestion and I hope you find it helpful? Happy and safe travels.
