English Lyrics - Translation
Everyday, see it’s routine ×2
Hustle-bustle shooting
Let the world shake your day Whatever the bashing-loading
Everyday life! Routine ×2
Breaking news to guide me
Shine bright in the glittering world-keep trying
Hold’em up-passionate, nothing wrong with that
Hold’em on-you’ll get there in the end
Aren’t you also bluffing?
All your emotions-ending
One more time-starting
The reason is the world of democracy
I met, I parted, met and parted.
Think it over, get it straight
Rap Rap Rap
Hate will never stop.
Can’t stand it-fake crying
(Everybody!! Look!!)
Follow me now!! Go on, watch!
Yes, give it a like
Aren’t you getting into me?
Look at me now!!
Look carefully, where’s the cheat sheet?
I win!! You can’t win.
Hunky-dory day ×4
Hold’em up-even if it’s all about you
Hold’em on-no way you want to lose
No matter if it’s just an Instagram identity
Your rarity value-ending
So then, reset¬-starting
The reason is the world of democracy
I met, I parted, met and parted.
Doesn’t feel right, not enough
Clap Clap Clap
Recognition gives me what I want
Who invites me to the TOP!!
(Everybody!! Look!!)
Follow me now!! Go on, watch.
Yes, give it a like
Aren’t you getting into me?
Look at me now!!
Look carefully, where’s the cheat sheet?
I win!! You can’t win.
Hunky-dory day ×4
A future vision
Why is it all so vague?
Always that one-upping contest
Chit-chat Chit-chat
My advantage is growing
Look, this really is the king of filters
Push like it! Check it out
Share! Happy! Let’s dance!!
Focus on Buzz!!
Want more of a shock.
Follow me now!! Right now
Yes, give it a like
Are you getting into me?
Surrender love!!
Hunky-dory day ×4

This is terrific! ;-)
You're terrific, Valerie. But I believe you're gonna wanna know the Maids names at some point:
Saiki Atsumi (Sy-i-Key or Psyche) “Ice Queen" - Lead vocals
Miku Kobato (Me-Ku) "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, Vocals, Lyricist, SpokesPigeon, and Founder
Kanami Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead Guitar, Keyboards, Main Composer
Akane Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums
MISA (Me-Sa) "Barefoot Assassin" aka: MISA MISA MISA - Bass
We are now hearing Influencer LIVE during 2022 USA Tour and surrendering our love to the Maids. That's a real Hunky Dory Day!
Someone in another comment mentioned this about "Hunky dory"...makes more sense now....
This phrase is very close to Japanese expression "Honki (本気) Dori (or Tori 撮り)" that means 「本気」= serious, earnest, sincere" and 「撮り」= filming, recording, image capturing".
This was a great reaction. I'm so happy that Band-Maid has brought so many different people from all walks of life to get back to enjoying music again.
Little sidenote here, maybe you are interested in such details: Kanami (lead guitar) is also the main songwriter and she knows SO WELL to give everbody in this band a spot to show their talent.
For more vocal fun, try the MV for Warning by Band-Maid. Harmonies yes, but almost more of two lead vocalists (which is what they are) playing off each other.
BAND-MAID'S ability to cram so much AWESOMENESS, both musically and visually, into such a short amount of time is AMAZING!!
Thanks again!🤘🤩🤘
Great comments. The interplay between the girls is great live. The studio let's them do more with vocal layers and electronic music. They include this stuff in a backing track live but it's not quite as smooth. On balance, though, they're better live. Their musicianship, mutual friendship and respect, joy in playing, and relationship with the fans make the music really special when they share a stage.
Hi Ms Valerie. I am one of those who were considerably critical during the original video. (I might have been a beeet too hyper-critical....). I will honestly say that I am impressed with the fact that you would re-edit your video to correct those issues listed in the comments section. Many of the reactors I have watched over these years would have simply ignored the comments and prepare to dish out the next video. I must apologize for the very blunt comments I made, but unfortunately, when the arrow is on the bowstring, it will fly.
I love this edited version of the video.
I have to also commend you on your post-song commentary (which is something I failed to do in the original video comments). Many of the things you say about today's state of music and social media are points to ponder over and worth some serious thinking into. The Band-Maid ladies are indeed serious musicians, and we are all thankful for it. 😊
Thanks for the reaction. I like the expert reactions. Saiki and Miku have great voices.
Great review and you caught the important aspect of this band they're real musicians who compose and play their own music both in studio and live. They are finishing up a 13 city tour and if you want an idea of their skills in front of a live audience, there are a lot of fan cam clips available on YT.
5 brilliant musicians who share just the one subtle ego.
I absolutely love your reactions - I've always wanted you to react to Daley "Alone Together" featuring Marsha Ambrosia. Just a really interesting mixture of voice control.
Thanks Valerie!
One thing you could do better with your videos after you pause go back a few seconds before restarting the vide , cause the 2nd time you paused n restarted you missed Miku saying Everybody look in a very deadpan way .
バンドメイドの新たな神曲。同じ女性として格好イイーヤッタゼ!
The costumes are more than a gimmick. Band-Maid are here as "maids" to serve up great music, they are not trying to massage their own egos. *We* the audience are the masters and princesses - they respect their audiences. It is great to have such ego-less band music. They have great fun with their audiences when performing live. They even waved at audience members they recognised from UA-cam!
instead of guessing what they are singing how about you turn on captions and read a little? Misa the bassist is a founding member and is not new by any means...
Perhaps she has the captions on but cut off at the bottom of the screen - I’ve seen quite a few reactors doing that.
I watch the captions live on UA-cam but when editing, I download the original video, which doesn’t show the translations. It’s the only way it works right now. I wish it was different and I could stream the translations in real time.
I like your reactions because you don't just relate to the vocals themselves. I have a proposal for you to rate this piece and the performer ua-cam.com/video/V9_ZpqfqHFI/v-deo.html She comes from Japan, but hardly anyone knows her true face because this artist hides in an animated figure and her concerts are also performances of an animated character. Her voice fascinated me and I need a professional opinion.
"Girls": For my non-Anglosaxon ears it sounds strange and inappropriate to call women in the second half of their 20s "girls". You used the term already in your reaction to Lovebites' "Swan Song", although the singer Asami and the guitarist and pianist Miyako both have a child. I wouldn't call a mother a "girl".
Nice that you react to BM. Unfortunately the song "Influencer" is one of their weaker ones. A better and more typical choice would be e.g. the live version of "Domination" (maybe your husband can react to the drum solo ;-)) .
Btw the produced two songs under the name "Band Maiko" wearing kimonos, using traditional instruments (e.g. shamisens), etc. The visuals are fantastic.
This is terrible...
How so?
@@VocalSplendorStudios don't get me wrong, your a wonderful, intelligent reactor, so poised and graceful. But, this music is chaotic, and the vocals are unintelligible. Let's compare them to say, Angelina. Never mind, can't compare a goddess of music to rats in a sewer beating on pipes. Seriously Valerie, you are better than to react to this. I also noticed all the other reactors doing coverage of this band, seems like they want exposure...
I saw Band-Maid at the Neptune Theater in Seattle as they began their US tour. They came out heavy, hard, fast and tight. They never let up. 18 songs. Their interaction with us in the audience was pure delight. They love what they do and their joy flows from the stage and washes through the crowd.
I sang and shouted myself hoarse. I jumped up and down on my poor old feet far more than I should have. I was exhausted. I haven’t had so much fun in decades.
Rock is not dead. It lives in Japan.
This is the type of comment that deserves a "pin of shame"
@@MichaelGroves777 Unintelligible because is sing in japanese with a bit of english.
