BAND-MAID'S ability to cram so much AWESOMENESS, both musically and visually, into such a short amount of time is AMAZING!! Just saw them at Aftershock and in SF, both INCREDIBLE shows!! Thanks!🤘🤩🤘
@@Glynthepin It depends what coverage B-M get cos they get barely any in KERRANG & Metal Hammer. The music press will be there for GNR but i'm hoping they report that BAND-MAID blew them away with an awesome set :)
@@GaryHolloway-810 I had thought along those lines but not having much knowledge of music press in general, I wondered will the magazines you mentioned report on a Japanese concert? If they do, will Band Maid just be a footnote? Anyway all publicity is good publicity as the saying goes. 🙂 Thank you for your comment.
So glad to see you guys back with Band-Maid. They DO have a new album called "Unleash". "influencer" and "Unleash!!!!!" are from the new album which is loaded with many great songs. Great reaction guys!
They are just finishing their US Tour. I had the privelage of seeing them at the Fillmore in DC, they sounded even better then I expected and my expectation were high. It was the best concert I can remember going to. Best Hard Rock band out there in my opinion. Good reaction and have a nice day! (oh and they are using sarcasm about influencers. They are not being complimentary towards them lol)
@4:58 it seems to me when Kanami begins her solo it sounds just like Bach's Toccata and Fugue. Somehow and maybe my ears are betraying me she makes that guitar sound like an organ!!
Thanks again from Japan 有難う 💛。 This song has been played in 10 shows to data (Oct. 30) in their on-going US tour.😍 This MV was filmed at a famous and old stone quarry (Ishikiri-Sanmyaku) located in Ibaraki prefecture, north of Tokyo. Kanami, the lead guitarist, was very scared when she stood near the brink of the cliff but she could defy the fear once cameras started to capture her playing scene. [source : Gekirock News]. Saiki is singing "Hunky Dory" repeatedly. It sounds to me, an aged Japanese, a kind of word play or pun. This phrase is very close to Japanese expression "Honki (本気) Dori (or Tori 撮り)" that means 「本気」= serious, earnest, sincere" and 「撮り」= filming, recording, image capturing". This is cynically suitable 😄 to what influencers do, isn't it? In the rap part Saiki is also singing "Always that one-upping contest, chit-chat chit-chat". "Chit-chat" sounds like "chicchai ちっちゃい" in Japanese. That means "tiny, trivial, frivolous, worthless etc." Miku's lyrics includes a lot of word play and Miku admitted she did it on purpose in an interview [source : Spice Oct.7] "Influencer" was played on Sep.7 at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo in Band-Maid's pre-US concert as the 13th song and that was the premiere (live debut). Just so you know, I witnessed it at the venue ヽ(^o^)丿.
It sounds as though you have been on another planet- must try harder! Band-Maid have been doing a 14 date US tour for the month of October. This is from their latest 8 Track EP out Sept 21.
"Hunky Dory" means "Take a picture prettier than I am." in Japanese Miku says "chit-chat chit-chat" is in japanese"ちっちゃ". It means "He/She is petty-minded" "He/She is a person of small caliber"
Ok, on the surface, I thought I was looking at a bunch of dudes claiming to be the Minds of the Future. I was all prepared to type some snide remark about this when they actually came up with a more-than-decent analysis of what the song is about. Intriguing. Luckily I shut myself up and really listened through the whole video without making a comment that would make me look stupid, ya? While this video is not exactly a full technical analysis of the musicality of these ladies, it was still mildly amusing and considerably entertaining enough for me to look forward to their next video. Kind of explains the 195K subs on this channel. What was I thinking?......
“MINDS OF THE FUTURE” was just a name we thought of before creating the channel. In our videos, we just rock out and have fun. I appreciate this comment a lot!❤️
Hope you guys enjoy!! Almost at 200K!
Go 200k,,, cek cakra khan,, rise like a phoenix.. So good

This is from their new EP UNLEASH!!!!!. They are about to wrap up their U.S tour then back to Japan to support Guns n Roses.
Yep kanami's got a little chair & everything for Axl in case he gets tired.😏
@@GaryHolloway-810 Hahaha. 😂😂😂
Not a good move in my view. Band Maid are a headline act, not second fiddle to GNR or any other dinosaur rock band for that matter.

Thank you for reacting to Band-Maid.
We are now hearing Influencer LIVE during 2022 USA Tour and surrendering our love to the Maids. That's a real Hunky Dory Day! Thx, Guys!

Check out From Now On as well, it is an instrumental and off the new EP. Thanks for the reaction, Band-Maid is AWESOME!

Thank you! We basically have been on another planet. We took a huge break from UA-cam.

This song is about social media addiction and narcissism.
