Oh yes!!! Love the new color!!! Love your Liberty though for it's versatility over the Independence. Great review, great camera work, Cindy.👍😉 . Awesome units, awesome longevity. Be safe, Be blessed 😉☺❤🇺🇸💙
I like my 2014 Spirit Deluxe wood grain better. Also installed a Micro Air # 364 unit where I can run my Air Conditioner with my Yamaha 2000 watt Generator. Also replaced my factory 3500 lb. axle with a 5200 pound axle.with shock absorbers, I can now carry 2,700 lbs. and still not be over loaded. Also replaced my 20 Lb. propane tanks with Aluminum 30 lb. tanks. Weight is still about the same as the 2 STEEL 20lb. tanks. Also have designed and built 11 shelves that have increased my storage capacity by 50 per cent. They are beautiful and my design is no dought going to be copied. A video coming soon. Ken Creed
Your observation mirrors ours regarding the Independence, that’s why we got the Liberty Deluxe. We have heard rumors of the gray cabinet doors. I really like it, it gives a fresh updated look to the interior. Thank you for sharing.
We are actually returning to the factory next week to video all 4 models with the new colors. I will post that video (all 4 in one video) ASAP after the visit. Thanks for watching
I like that the water tank is within the heated section of the trailer rather than under the chassis where it would be more exposed to freezing. I prefer the wood look though-sure it’s old fashioned and probably fake, but it’s warmer and looks less like a grey plastic Rubbermaid tote.
we have a 2007 freedom deluxe and it is perfect for two. we are 70 years old and have friends that own 2 acres in townsend, tenn. so we go up there ocasionally. we love our casita and enjoy your videos. keep them comming and be safe.
Great tour. I am happy that you showed some of the issues with the dinette/bed area. Like you, the depth of the cushion would be an issue for me. I was actually leaning towards getting this model as my next Casita. For now, I will stick with my Spirit Deluxe. I do love the new gray interiors. Many of my "wood" doors are swollen from moisture over the years. I have been wanting to make new ones out of real wood but have been afraid to change anything from the original. This will give me an option. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to the rest of the videos in this series.
I will make sure to see what the new gray doors are made of in the video I do when I return to the factory... hope to have that video out around the first weekend of February.
Nicely done video with good angles. Measurements were handy and any other info like weight and capacities are handy. PS: the grey is a welcome change, now if they changed wall carpet color, be even better.
I like the grey, but I would like a light tan better. Need to give options. I thought that I wanted the Freedom Deluxe. However, there is not much storage.
Not that I'm wanting to know an excessive amount of personal info about you, but when you were talking about the seating, it would help to know how how tall you are. Just to get a perspective. I'm 5ft, my husband is 5'6, so dangling legs can sometimes be an issue. Great video!
I'm thinking of getting one and all videos I've seen have no measurement. I appreciate you getting the tape put to measure the width as I am looking different models. Now I would like you to point out where the plug in is around the kitchen as I'm planning to use instant pot. In next castita videos thanks.
I appreciate showing and measuring the width between the double beds. One thing I wished Casita did better was show distances between objects on their drawing.
HI, wanting to know how much was the sticker price for this model? I am going to see a used one tomorrow, the exact model with the gray interior. Trying to get a estimate of the cost to compare. Thanks, Kathleen
Nice, but whats the deal with the carpet walls and ceiling? Insulation? Carpet does collect dust and more. This would prevent me from buying a casita/ Thanks.
I love the wood cabinets and am very disappointed that they don't get people a choice! I would have been very upset to have ordered one with the wood, only to have them not give me what I ordered. I think this unfortunately, will make me have to pay close to full price for a used Casita. So disappointed 😔
After looking at several videos of Casitas, Escapes, Olivers and Bigfoot it is my opinion that casita company has skimped a little on quality. I think the door compartments don't look like the spent very much time making them. Rail and style doors would be better. The cushions wrinkled too much. The flooring looked cheap. I don't see any wifi hookups either. But it may not have a high price tag either.
It is always good to look at all the options out there... especially in the fiberglass market. There are differences in all and I will admit that the Casita may not have the best of everything. Compared to the ones you mentioned, the Casita is the entry level RV in the group.
All of the Casita trailers have storage under the seats, although limited. The other storage space is in the closet, under the sink and stove and of course the overhead cabinets. If you choose not to have the built in microwave then you get a large pantry above the fridge.
@@RVAdventuresTV I suspect it's so much easier to glue carpet in with all those angles vs trying to use any paneling like traditional straight walled Rv's. Provides minimal insulation at best, the fiberglass & thermal layer do well.
I'm probably the only person who absolutely hates gray. One sees it in house remodels and new homes all the time, and I'll pass. I much prefer wood grain, it's so much warmer in feel. Gray is dreary.
The Independence does have limited "move-around" space. The doors are comparable to other RVs from what I have seen. The black pipe is no lower than the axle... overall, the Casita trailers are not high clearance. There are other makers who offer off-road trailers with higher clearance.
@@RVAdventuresTV Guess you could change those white wheels to something aluminum & while your at it go 1 inch bigger wheels for clearance. Any boondocking on gravel or uneven roads could drag the rear & dmg the plastic dump valves.
Hey buddy - pretty nice job on the RV tour but let's get you into the gym for the next video and do a tour of the various weight loss machines. Looks like you're carrying an extra buck seventy-five or so and well on your way to, if not fully into, Type-2 diabetes. After the gym vid - you may want to look at a non-carb nutritional vid.
Good grief, Even when they are new they look like they have been used for 40 years, What's with the carpet on the walls and ceiling that's straight from 1970's panel Vans, I have checked out a lot of small caravans and these have to be the worst trailers ever made, These trailers are Repulsive In Every Way, Thank god they changed the colours to the grey, Who one earth is their designer ? Sponge Bob Square Pants, If this costs more than a $1000 I'd want change. Despicable,

I didn't know they still made these new. The new grey color looks so much better, much richer looking.
I just inherited my parents 2001 casita. I love it. Im hoping to get one of the new ones someday.
I really like the new grey color.

I'm so glad to see that cheapy looking color go!
Great video. I plan to order one later this year and very much like the new gray interior.
definitely the grey is a winner, looks more updated and modern. the natural wood looked a bit cheesy

Anita Knight Are you a full timer?
No... but we are maybe half timers!!!!

Nice like that new interior color side.
What's the cost on those trailer? U showed and the weight.

I agree, options would be nice
I look forward to the double axle model with the higher ceiling.
Thanks for the review.

I am 5' 8"
@@RVAdventuresTV This helps, my thanks!!!
I like the new gray color better. More neutral color than the wood grain one.

I love my 1997 Casita Spirit Deluxe! 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
I notice that loose fabric on the bed cushions
I appreciate showing and measuring the width between the double beds. One thing I wished Casita did better was show distances between objects on their drawing.
Thanks for watching...
Personally I like the new Gray color. That model would be good if it was used as a deer/fishing camp for 2 guys but not ideal for much else.
HI, wanting to know how much was the sticker price for this model? I am going to see a used one tomorrow, the exact model with the gray interior. Trying to get a estimate of the cost to compare. Thanks, Kathleen
Currently it is around 22-26K depending on options.
I wish they would have at least two interior colors to choose from.
I agree
I think the Oliver looks better and is made
better
Nice, but whats the deal with the carpet walls and ceiling? Insulation? Carpet does collect dust and more. This would prevent me from buying a casita/ Thanks.
It is for noise and insulation, but it isn't much.
The 60's called. They want their Cabinetry back. Seriously, nice Fiberglass Camper. Update. Oliver for the win.
Those exposed water pipes cheapen the look of it.
I love the wood cabinets and am very disappointed that they don't get people a choice! I would have been very upset to have ordered one with the wood, only to have them not give me what I ordered. I think this unfortunately, will make me have to pay close to full price for a used Casita.

I really wish they'd ditch the carpet. I just don't get it. I'm shopping for my first camper, and totally new, but carpet on the walls is odd to me.
It is for the insulation, sound reduction, and light weight.
Do they have screen door ??
Yes.
And how is the interior ceiling? A 6'2', 230 .lb male wants to know.
According to Casita the interior height is 73 1/2" in the center.
Can someone tell me if a Toyota Sienna would be able to tow this please?
You will have to match the specs from Toyota to the trailer specs and then throw in some common sense.
Unless they add carpet inside the shower - I'm not interested...
Just trying to picture it....
Why would anyone want carpet in the shower? That I think would get musty and moldy. Very quickly.
Rumor is Casita company has gone out of business. Anyone know for sure?
Just talked to them at 800-442-9986. Not true. Just a rumor.
RV Adventures thanks. I like your videos. looking forward to more.
who uses the camera?
Very much in business! They are selling all they can make....4/5 month wait long once you place an order.
First to view !
Just one question was there any storage space?
All of the Casita trailers have storage under the seats, although limited. The other storage space is in the closet, under the sink and stove and of course the overhead cabinets. If you choose not to have the built in microwave then you get a large pantry above the fridge.
This is how big? 13’? 17’?
17' is the model, of course, this is bumper to hitch coupler.
Where does one get water for this RV?
From any public or private water source you can fill up the 25 gallon tank in the RV or hook it up to the water bib at the campground.
It's like a time warp to 1982 and not in a good way. I'd be interested if the furnishings were up to date and the carpet walls were gone.
Why do they put carpet on the walls?
It is for insulation and sound... the carpet is foam backed, about 1/4" thick.
That makes sense....that didn’t even occur to me. Thanks!
And fiberglass can be see through.
Thats right... not much insulating value, but it is what the factory states.
@@RVAdventuresTV I suspect it's so much easier to glue carpet in with all those angles vs trying to use any paneling like traditional straight walled Rv's. Provides minimal insulation at best, the fiberglass & thermal layer do well.
Grey interior alot better
`Is that oriented strand board in the structure. sad.
Yes.
A single bed is 38 inches wide.
Redfish Incorporated always used to be 39”?
I'm probably the only person who absolutely hates gray. One sees it in house remodels and new homes all the time, and I'll pass. I much prefer wood grain, it's so much warmer in feel. Gray is dreary.
That’s some ugly wood grain with cheesy hinges. Good thing they changed the color at least. And where’s the LED accent lighting?
Terrible floor plan on this model, really cheap cabinet doors, and that toilet vent pipe. And the black pipe is for dumping hanging down too far.
The Independence does have limited "move-around" space. The doors are comparable to other RVs from what I have seen. The black pipe is no lower than the axle... overall, the Casita trailers are not high clearance. There are other makers who offer off-road trailers with higher clearance.

Hey, Frank; this guy's trying to help, and you insult him. You must be a really smart guy----jerk.
With all the shag carpet on walls and ceiling this camper would get filthy and stay filthy. This camper only good for Scooby Doo.
We vacuum it every month and it can be cleaned.
