Maurice Ernest Gibb FOREVER..! Watch his body language, how he was for real the coolest of his bros! And cors the gorgeousest since ever, his talking voice was the sexiest of the 3. Dripping of charm, class, and sensuality..! RIP Angel face beside Robin and Andy 🙏💔🕊️😭💎🇬🇧
I can listen to these guys all day, every day ❤. No airs and graces, no big headedness. Just pure natural down to earth family. Not to mention pure talent. So many many reasons to love them aswell as being so easy on the eyes ..... JUST ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 😍 ❤️ 😍
Hi Chad! So good to see you again and as always loved your reaction to this interview. What amazing men they are. Very intelligent and funny and respectful. And they always loved talking about Andy. I know it was hard for them but he was so special to them. I've lost my Mother and Father and three brothers and I love sharing memories of my family with others. I'm so glad you're going to be reacting to more of their interviews. Looking forward to that. Really enjoyed your reaction. Take care Chad.😊♥️
I have seen this interview before. Such wonderful human beings who are humble, sincere, thoughtful and caring. Also, what great senses of humor! So much fun seeing this again and your reaction to it!
This is a great interview one I have not seen before. Love the "One" album a lot of my favorites are on this album. The song "Wish You Were Here" written for Andy. I think it is a great tribute to Andy when an interviewer brings up Andy, it shows that he has not been forgotten. We all loved Andy as well as All the brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice. Forever a Bee Gee fan.
When I saw that you were reacting to this interview with Bert Newton, I immediately thought of Mo telling him what he did before going to sleep was "rather personal." So, I am awaiting his response and his amazing smile right now. Thanks for choosing this Chad. I love seeing and hearing them speak. Such beautiful men in heart and soul.
I’ve seen this interview before, but not anytime recently so I didn’t remember much of it besides the two funny things that Mo said because I’ve seen them many times in funny Bee Gees compilation videos. But, I really don’t care how many times I’ve seen a video with any of them, especially if it’s all three of them, in it, how well I remember it, or if I’ve never seen it before. They’re that interesting and lovable. This was such a good interview! I love that Bert Newton got each bro to talk and tried to give them equal talking by talking turns asking each one a different question. I’m so excited that you’re going to be reacting to many more Bee Gees interviews because of how much I love them and how interested I am in seeing your reactions to them and what you have to say about what goes on in them.
I love watching Bee Gees interviews, thank you Chad. Please react to BEE GEES BACKSTAGE “THE GREATEST MAN IN THE WORLD” 1971 Acoustic. It’s a wonderful piece with Maurice and Barry singing parts of the song “Greatest Man In the World” at the reunion. You can see Robin in the background in conversation. I love the way Maurice smiles at Barry, with so much affection. ❤❤❤
I've seen comments on the internet of people who assumed that Andy was always drunk or high all the time till his death. In fact he went through long extended periods of complete sobriety and as Barry mentioned, Andy even become a pilot three months before he died. It's just so tragic. What a talented group of men...
Great interview from a respectful and experienced interviewer without a personal agenda. They had been so let down by crap interviewers in the past looking for a 'gotcha' moment. The boys were always articulate and witty and made for some very interesting chats. Maurice, with his beautiful speaking voice could have had a second career in reading audio books and, lets face it, I would have listened to him reading the phone book. I've always loved hearing about their childhoods and the early days and thank the people who have uploaded so many of these precious interviews. Thank you Chad. Great weekend xx
I appreciated the interviewer was respectful of their feelings about Andy. The One album they were discussing was dedicated to Andy you have to check on how they are feeling. Thank you for sharing this.
Bert Newton was one of Australia's top 2 or 3 TV hosts from the 1970s right through to the 1990s. He was cheekily known as "moonface" because of his very round face. He always tried to extract some laughs from interviews, although he was not exactly a comedian.
Ótima entrevista como sempre. Chad, você precisa ouvir Andy Gibb cantando "Love So Right". É INCRÍVEL!!!!!!! Obrigada por honrar esse grupo maravilhoso! 😊👍🏻
I always marveled at the way they and their parents (their father maybe only once that I remember) spoke about Andy’s death, and then about losing Mo, and then Barry being asked about losing all three. After the 2021 documentary, he then said he was no longer going to speak about it, and their individual families could be asked those questions. My personal opinion, based on the entirety of the context it was given in and their story in general is that (1) It is hard and emotional for Barry and he’s said it all so many times already that there’s no more to say, and (2) Reading between the lines, it sounded like he might have received some sort of negative feedback from a family member about something he didn’t say just like they thought he should have said it. Family business is always very difficult, but surely must be amplified when in such a public nature.
I always enjoy their interviews and humour. They often spoke about Andy and it may even have been cathartic for them to express their feelings once a bit of time had passed. Everyone reacts differently. A funny one of Mo and Rob on a British morning show doing a cooking segment on GMTV while promoting "High Civilization. The quality isn't terrific but funny. The Pebble Mill interview. One with an interviewer who I believe was an Aussie or Kiwi but I can't identify him so... ua-cam.com/video/Jwa8-Zd9v8E/v-deo.htmlsi=OC_AcwPoSIFxmzaG which is also very good.
As a hard-core fan I have seen some interviews where the bringing up of Andy has been done very poorly and insensitively. There are ways to add loss into a conversation and directly after you have been laughing your head off in a very light moment, to introduce the question , is bad form. I have seen this more than once. I lost my slightly older brother when he was 35 and I was 34. I was always the ill one and I am the one still around in my 60's. His death was a huge shock. I could not be laughing one moment then be able to talk about bro in the next even now! I see both sides.
My wife still has her tricycle she rode up the path tp play with Andy and see his brothers when they would visit their mother's house in Western Sydney way back in 1965. The parents settled there and the boys settled in Maroubra and used the St Clair studios at Hurstville after moving to Sydney from Brisbane . Yes its near Parramatta Leslie lives at Hazlebrook in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney Windsor is west of Parramatta near Kims place .Kim is Andy's first wife
I agree with your comments about Andy as it shows how authentic they are as a family while also keeping his memory alive.

Oh yeah that smile

The Bee Gees are full of sensitivity, but also humor in their interviews! Thank you Chad for promoting any material recorded with them!

Thank you for sharing. I very much enjoyed the fact that unlike many interviewers he chose to acknowledge and direct questions at them as individuals.

@ R.i.P. to Bert Newton, Robin, Maurice and Andy.

I agree I don’t think bringing up Andy as insensitive
LOL. Was that your daughter?! “TRICK-or-treat, dad!”!!!! 👻
