Eco styler gel is a no joke hold, i can wear my wash and go down for 5 days, which i can usually only wear down for 3. Also my edges seriously dont move, i woke up the next day and they still were layed down!

SioLazer for my hair type I can only use a lil but on very wet hair and to pair it I like the Camille rose or the wetline extreme. I can’t remember if I used it with eco but u can try to mix it and see if it doesn’t clump. Good luck 🍀
Yonely Santana hi, to answer your question my favorite leave in or creams to pair it with are soultanicals I can’t believe it’s not butta, as I am leave it, Risos curls defining cream and the UFD good hair cream. It also pairs with the Mane choice 3-1 leave in from the purple line. Mixed chicks leave in, NLS Irish Moss cream, Carols daughter coco cream, and garnier fructis papaya 3-1 leave in/treatment and Alikay lemongrass leave in. The trick is to add your leave in while you are in the shower with soaking wet hair, this allows the product to soak in by the time you add the gel you’re all set. I hope this works for you. 🙂
PR 912 you just gave me a good idea and o have short curly hair idk if 3b or 4a but my hair always shrinks idk if it’s gel but I’ll try that method out

Thank god you addressed the Eco Styler Gel issue with cocktailing!!! I’ve never seen any curly influencers talk about it or they use it by itself, which is great, I did some wash and gos with just the eco styler and my curls were booooomb but lacked a tiny bit of moisture... I’ll try to soak my hair with water next time bc my hair is in love with the stuff and I was so sad that It didn’t seem to mix well with ANY of my curling creams 😭
I like the Mane Choice Gelato as well. First gel that j did a twist out with and there was no frizz. You know how it you for curl hair and we tend to have little frizzes that need to get laid down with a scarf. My hair was shiny and polished😍 But be aware⚠️ that it is high in protein and that it most be on wet hair. I made a mistake and applied a little on the ends a week later to refresh my ends and all my ends had the product knot into my hair. I couldn't figure out why my ends were all knotted and not the rest of the hair until I remember that I had reapplied it on the ends only when the hair was dry. So only applied on wet and damp hair👌🏼
I consider the Alikay Crème Brulee a gel....it is nice, but I don't get too many days out of it before having to refresh. My favorite gel is Curlmaker because it has a nice hold, I normally get 5 days and it cocktails well with so many leave-ins.

Do you ever use a mousse for your curls? When I wear my hair curly I use a very inexpensive mouse from Suave called captivating curls and it’s very moisturizing and leaves the slightest cast. When I scrunch our the cast my hair is super shiny. What about spray get, do you have any suggestions? Nexxus used to have one that defined my curls, light cast and lots of shine but u don’t believe they make it anymore.

However, I noticed that as the humidity has started to increased I liked it less. So I like it as a winter styler but not for the summer!! Other recommendations would be Boucleme Style Fixer (if you’re in the UK not sure if you can get it in the US or anywhere else). The kinky curly custard or Dippity-do curlgelée are my other favourites.

ulta has mane choice. her new POW gel is NOT sticky and has hold! smells like grape kool aid. also from sally try tropical moringa braid glaze its sticky but smells great!!

Only one we do have is eco styler, but just the original one. I don't like it because it's sooo sticky, I hate the texture. And no moisture. I only use it to slick back my hair when I put It up lol it'll last me years cause I got a size double that lmao
Have you tried the aloe berry styling gel by Alimkay? I searched up the one you recommended on amazon and the berry styling gel is all that came up. I'm in canada so like all these gels are not available to me lol :(

Please HELP! I have the Camila Rose Gel and I love it on its own but whenever I try to cocktail it with ANY curl cream or leave- in, it leaves the little white balls in my hair! Do you have ANY cocktail suggestions with this product?
Not gonna lie the prices of black hair care products compared to the amount of product you get upsets me, 12 oz is not worth $22 and if it’s not a good product your kinda stuck with it cause it’s hair care and hair care is usually not returnable so lots of money wasted trying products as well but I find products I love that work for me and that you preferably get a good amount of for a decent price, I stick with those, yes hair care is important for maintaining healthy hair but the prices are getting a little ridiculous especially for gels and edge controls with how little you get and it feels like a complete ripoff anyway I like ecostyler olive oil gel, decent hold, doesn’t flake as badly, and comes in big container for decent price and I’m gonna stick to it til I find something else
I agree, but I typically try out products once and then return them if I don’t like them. In my area at places like Walmart, Ulta, Sally Beauty, etc. hair products are returnable.

Use low protein products.. only small chain amino acids if you decide to use something with protein. Try wet plopping also.
