Ryan Winn suggested you to me from his channel. You guys are making the exact videos with the exact pace I'I've been looking for for a long time. Thank you so much!

This video gets blurry in spots. REST ASSURED I will re-do this during daylight hours... The moment to add it up was now though so I am posting this and there's some
great introductory information in here!! enjoy and get practicing/
Great video Rich loved you talking about this! -Ian 😉
great !
This is gold Rich!
Chain Link Studios cool. thanks. I hope it helps! It was very frustrating trying to record the video because the auto focus on my main camera was going nuts. Although I have tons of lights in my office at night it just couldn't seem to focus So I switched cameras but this other camera shoots tighter so I'm hanging out of the frame part of the video. I shot this I think four or five times. I might give it another shot today when it's sunny out and see if I can get a better version up.
new intro to brush cross hatching if the blurry is bringing you down. :) ua-cam.com/video/90S8Jr7Cmo0/v-deo.html&lc=z22bfn1wjlyfcxbqd04t1aokg2jpeyulc4kwx3j5zwgxrk0h00410

ha thank you! I did do a fix on this video ( recorded a a totally new one) but it covers this material and adds more to it. Here's a link to it. ua-cam.com/video/90S8Jr7Cmo0/v-deo.html&lc=z22bfn1wjlyfcxbqd04t1aokg2jpeyulc4kwx3j5zwgxrk0h00410
The crazy thing is I’m pretty sure he used a nib for the Frankenstein book. I tried to find the interview I watched on UA-cam where he mentioned the specific nib he used but no luck so far. I want to say it was a hunt 92 but I could be wrong. He went into some depth about it in the interview, which is why I feel pretty confident about it.
I tried to find it, I found this interview where he talks about getting tired of using a brush after Swamp Thing, but then later he talks about he actually developed a sensitivity to the nickel/ferrule part of the brush while working on Frankenstein. So I don't know I always thought Frankenstein was predominately nib. twomorrows.com/comicbookartist/articles/04wrightson.html
It was the Joseph Gillot 291 Nib he used.
bill crabtree I did know that you can really tell if you look at the work compared to what a brush will do. There's more tightness to a pen nib. The brush can do amazing things though. I had heard about Bernie's reaction to the end of the brush. That's really strange and unfortunate. great info in these replies!
UrinationNation I heard that too, what a bummer.
light box gotta try those!! thanks
