Once he came back, he took the role for a bit (I think) and then relinquished it to Laura because he had "Logan things" to do or some other random reason, but he's recently acknowledged that the title of wolverine belongs to Laura now, not him

@Oni Chan no problem, you should read the whole series starting with house of X and powers of X. At the end of every issue there is a list of what issues to read next, later on down the line wolverine gets his own series, he is also part of X-force and he runs security on Krakoa. Also if you like venom you should check out the Donny Cates run it just ended and it was amazing. And Hickman's Avengers/ New Avengers and his run of Fantastic Four are some of the best series I've read.

@@Neuroticmancer There is sinister undertone, basically it's assumed by fans and intend here and there, that Charles forcibly tempered the minds of everyone so they could live peacefully together, there is that and the Onslaught persona rising again. That's what Apocalypse sensed beside Arrako's return, Legion sensed it too and Mr Sinister act like he doesn't and focus on gossip, but he knows. I love her as a character but as a person, Mystique is a bitch and Oracle isn't better, those two always saw themselves against the world and the former have that vengeful harpy mindset about her so she could do something that would trigger Onslaught's return.
Man, I really want the Mutants to thrive and be happy. Not divided, not near extinct, on the run or scattered around the globe, but united as a powerhouse. I wish this new story line to be constant as we move forward with Orchis and the Children of The Vault as their major enemies with Humanity and other less serious threat in tow for the next decades to come.
Correction, Rob X and Magneto own a small island to Namor’s 70% of the world…..but that small island has far more living nukes on that small island than Namor has in his entire kingdom.
Yeah like who cares that you own 70% of the planet when 100% of it is made invalid by a significant portion of the individuals on that island

I think Namor means as in terms of influence politically. Namor saw right through Xavier and Magneto's scheme. Knowing that if he agreed to sit on the counsel it would mean he is being tied to Xavier and Magneto. Namor like many political leaders know a lot about image and prestige and even the thought that he would join them would send shockwaves throughout the world. Kakoa being backed by Atlantis would be a horrifying thought to many and would give Kakoa a lot of negotiating power on the world stage. But what would Namor get out of it? Not much, and that is why he spat at the offer. Namor didn't want Kakoa leeching off Atlantis politically knowing all the crazy things Xavier and Magneto have been getting into that would wind them up on the bad side of pretty much everyone. So yeah the deal isn't worth the heart ache that is just a war in the making, Namor smelled the gunpowder miles away and bailed.

Let's be fair. James Marsden was solid casting for Cyclops. They just completely wasted his character because they drew all of the focus onto Wolverine

You know that funny part? Someone else hated that, too: Hickman. The moment Slott dropped that bomb, Hickman was like "I SAID I had plans for Franklin, and those plans have not changed."
I don't really see it as an issue because the moment Any Writer wants him to be a Mutant again, they can do it Easily, just have Prof X walk up again and say...
"As it turns out Franklin was Originally a Mutant, but as he's grown up and had Different Thoughts/Opinions about things he's Unconsciously made himself Not a Mutant and then a Mutant again and has done this several times... But through *Insert Exposition Here* we have been able to confirm that at Franklin's Birth he was a Mutant, so you're welcome on Krakoa if you want..." Ect Ect because that's perfectly feasible for his Power Set, and because no one would have an issue with it.
Reed whispered something to Prof. X, maybe it was like “I know you lied to Franklin. Thank you” or something

Loving this new dynamic of the Mutants. It makes sense that they are separated from the rest of the Marvel universe. Because it doesn't make sense with them mixing with the Avengers etc. Humans hate mutants but accept God's, super soldiers, demons etc. X-Men are best seperate from the rest.
I understand why they removed themselves from the rest of society given how they're treated, but I never understood why society rejects them so hard. In a world with superheroes and supervillains, I would trust my mutant neighbour living his life more than random heroes on TV. If my neighbour teen Billy was a mutant, but his mom, dad and sister were normal humans, I would trust Billy to feel more connected to our town & its citizens than I would Vision, Billionaire playboy Tony Stark, or Dr Strange.
As a stand-in for minorities and how they've been treated over time, I get the writing of X-Men. If they were the only powered beings on the planet, I would understand. But within the context of a world with superheroes and supervillains who allie with and fight against gods and demons... your local neighbour being a mutant born into a human family seems pretty tame in comparison.
No it doesn't. They are all part of the same universe and have been mingling since the beginning. The mutate/mutants dynamic makes perfect sense if you actually know the universe.

@@shadowsaiyan think about that for a second tho... With Arakko following apocalypse now Nimrod isn't much of a threat... The Children of The Vault with Darwin's power are a serious threat tho.
@@Tikimohn I doubt that a lot. #1. I would not be surprised if Arrako's combat prowess is overrated. It's possible. #2. Nimrod isn't coming alone. He'll know the mutant signatures on Earth have increases dramatically and adjust his eradication plans accordingly. #3. The Post-Humans/Children of the Vault allied with Nimrod and merged with machines in Moira's last life.
A perfect storm is brewing. Mutants would be smart to create safe spaces on places like Mars, Otherworld, Sevelisk, Shiar space... They need to spread their ppl and influence everywhere they can do Nimrod can't possibly get them all.
@@shadowsaiyan I mean, they did get their teeth handed to them a bit in x of swords, but also their entire council is omega level and they’ve been in constant war with the demonic equivalent to sentinels for thousands of years. If anything the danger is arrako underestimating nimrod or the children of the vault
@@Neuroticmancer There was a comment where an Arrako mutant (I think it might have been Isca) stating that they spent thousands of years fighting and surviving against demons and the Earth mutants had it easy. And someone responds implies that they jumped from the frying pan into the fire. Humans AREN"T demons. We know from multiple timelines that humans actually wipe out mutants.
We could very well see them be as warlike as they've always been, Magneto or Xavier tries to warn them against the danger they face, and then they fold against Nimrod and the Sentinels.

The Hellions tie in is actually interesting lol
Those "hanging out" scenes have been some of my favorites over the years. Especially the wolverine/x-men comics in the 90's. Maybe Rob could do some of those older Wolverine stories. Involving Elektra and the Hand.
That would be awesome if its light Dazzler and Jubilee using their powers together for the fireworks and lights show. In a most spectacular fashion. Could be a really dope thing to see.

Namor had 1/5 of the phoenix force when he pulled that Wakanda invasion. If he sets foot on Krakoa now he is toast.

I can't help but feel that the more the X men achieve new heights, the more they'll alienate themselves and push away those who should be their friends and allies. Resulting in an explosive, destructive downfall that they probably will not recover from, especially since it looks like Karakoa is the last chance for mutants to put their trust in the X men and join together.

Namor couldn't do anything to Krakoa there is just too many omega level and beyond omega level mutants. Charles just by himself would have him thinking he's a sea turtle 🐢 😂 Let alone Magneto or Legion or Apocalypse (if he decides to come back) or Exodus or iceman (who can freeze the entire planet to include oceans), Jaime (reality warper) etc.
Edit: Planet sized x men #1 released yesterday proved my point storm, magneto, Jean, Jaime, Vulcan, Hope Summers, Elixir resurrected an entire friggin planet... created molten metal spinning core, ocean, an atmosphere, ecosystem etc. If Namor was watching, which i know he was since it was the last part of hell fire gala event, he has to be feeling stupid. Magneto had to be biting his tongue hard because he was the one who planned it days before. 😂
Namor knows how it would look politically, Kakoa being backed by the largest military force on the planet, who is rich in resources and could block or sink cargo ships. That would give Kakoa a lot of negotiating power on the world stage but Namor isn't getting anything other than a bad deal because Xavier and Magneto are causing a lot of problems internationally and that would pull Namor into a lot of treaties and negotiations that he wouldn't want to do and would be very unpopular in the kingdom. So Namor doesn't want to take a risk that isn't going to yield high returns for him.

I wonder if it's possible for them to create their own Namor that is loyal to Krakoa. He is a mutant so I assume they have the genetic/mental information necessary to do so and Prof. X and Magneto have been know to be dastardly. I could see them trying to install it as a puppet king after perhaps kidnapping or even killing the original.
