So I bought this knife a little over a year ago, and I do like it quite a bit, especially for a budget beater. However the Kydex sheath is made from the thinnest, flimsiest Kydex I've ever seen used on a knife sheath. Because the knife is on the heavy side, and the sheath is so flimsy, it's pretty easy to shake the knife out of the sheath. I even had 2 stitches to prove how easily it can come out. I ultimate decided to install a chicago screw (with an oring as a washer for tension) about 3/4" above the highest rivet to give the sheath more bite and prevent any more stitches, lol.
I've had a knife fall out a few times, luckily no stitches. If I have the same issue I'll try a heat gun to mold it a little tighter. They have intended it to be carried in the 12 o'clock position.
@@Snagmaster30lb No, it was handle up, but was doing little bunny hops to reach something when I felt the knife come free. I tried to grab it to prevent it hitting the concrete floor, but it slipped and I grabbed it in the wrong spot, lol
I heard this company was caught selling blades marked as D2, which were actually made from a cheaper steel (8CR13). In fact, another You Tuber tested several and they were all made from 8CR13. Have these blades been tested to insure they're actually D2?
You make an account.... I think they even let you check out as a guest but regardless no matter where you buy something you’ll have to give your information. That’s the only thing I could see why you wouldn’t have an Amazon account. Lol but there’s too many Good reasons to have one than not, no matter how Shitty Amazon is and everything they are about. You can’t beat the selection of anything you need with the free shipping on almost everything with prime and most things come in 1-2 business days. You can not beat it.

Were you carrying it handle down?

With the chicago screw I added, it is tensioned perfectly now... and I can tighten or loosen that tension as desired.
@@Obliticus well damn lol.
I got my EF109 yesterday, in black. Worth the money, for sure.
Nice
Thanks!!! Just got 1. Have been looking for a good belt knife and found 1. Awesome page, keep it up. Love the knife deals/reviews
Thanks I appreciate that
Thanks I appreciate that
Just ordered mine about an hour ago. Plan to carry as an EDC, in the 3 o'clock position if the sheath allows it. Came here just to see it in hand.

👍👍. Thank you for review.
I’ve been looking for a good Tanto. Any recommendations?
Folder or fixed?
@@gadgetstalker2 Preferably fixed.
Was about to ask for the same. 😕
Benchmade makes a good one, forgot the name though. I used to own one and it was a good knife
Eafengrow EF129
Does anyone know if these cheap d2 blades were heat treated properly?
the hole in the blade should be modeled to fit bolts
would sort of help if you actually used them to see how it holds up
How can I purchase it if I don't have Amazon?
