    Damn, this is awesome. I only just started looking into Erica Synths and I'm kind of bummed I didn't know about these fusion modules sooner.

      cane creek Yep, check the VCA. You'll need about 74HP to get a full range of the Erica Tubes in :D

    Off topic, what's the delay you're using. Sounds great! Nice module too :)

    Nice fat sound. Considering how much one module flavours the sound, what happends if you use more of the Erica Fusion modules together? Does it end up one obese muddy mass or will it produce something useful?

      Synthesizers they definitely come together really well. It can get out of hand if you let it but every input has an attenuator which massively affects the sound. So subtle warming and gentle colour throughout is more than possible. I've just this last week sent the prototypes back to swap for the final version which I understand have been tweaked a bit so I'm excited to see what the release versions are like.

      DivKidMusic Ok, when you do, please patch up a sound with just fusion modules in a chain and show how that sounds.

      Olorintube yeah that's on the list of things to do. There's a new VCO with tube waveshaping as well. Also should have the Polivoks VCOs from Erica soon so I can run a Polivoks voice and the tubes together.

    Is that the delay around 7 minutes in you mean Wicked cool? ... I didn't take notes but I'm pretty sure it's the Synthrotek EKO module.

    • @wickedcoolsafenice
      @wickedcoolsafenice 9 років тому +1

      it was the delay in the self resonance bit around 4.40.... amazing if it's the EKO, such a cheap but great sounding thing!

    • @DivKid
      @DivKid  9 років тому

      wickedcoolsafenice Yeah that was the EKO going into the Doepfer A-199 spring reverb :)

    hi ! do you need a power adaptation for tube module ?

    • @DivKid
      @DivKid  7 років тому

      Yes, for the first round of Fusion/Tube modules they all need a power adapter that is inside the case. However the v2 modules don't need the power. Check the Erica Synths site, they're releasing updated versions.

    What do you use to let your bass produce CV exactly?

    • @DivKid
      @DivKid  9 років тому +1

      Alexander Nijman Hi Alexander, it's the Doepfer A-119 external input / envelope follower module. The bass plugs directly in, with a pre-amp giving enough gain to get the bass up to modular signal levels. It also has an envelope follower so for each note I get a peak voltage when struck that then decays with the natural decay of the bass strings. So you can use that envelope from the bass to control other things. Hope that helps and keep asking questions if there's anything I can help with.
