I just installed a single for a 12' Landpride batwing. Sure wish I had gone with a two-valve set but this will do me for now. I also installed the trailer light connector kit on the rear.
Keep in mind you can just order another door handle and retrofit it to the right side to have normal operation. When I bought my MX6000, the dealer installed the right side normal locking door handle, along with rear work lights (identical to front halogen ones) and the mirrors from the Grand L series. I’d be interested in a right side step but under that box is the loader valve. Rear toolbox is nice.
Thanks Davey. That poor Ol cat has been through a lot this year but she’s come a long way. The guy who passed didn’t take good care of her but she’s much happier now. Thanks for watching my friend.
Nice design Paul. Kathy, you represent your products very good. My little orphan cat passed away about a month ago or so. I miss the little girl. It was not easy to see her go down hill the last 6 months. It's good to see your new mods and add-ons. The tool box and light bars will be in demand in my opinion. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers
Hi started watching you both years ago when I was thinking of buying a Goldwing! Goldie sat for one year unused and suddenly developed a clutch issue. I have been missing ya for a few years. I now own 20 acres and need a Kobuta. Like that one! I'm back! your vids are thoroughly interesting and funny sometimes.
Welcome back. Odd to have a clutch issue with your wing. Not very common in my area. Well you can’t go wrong with a Kubota but I always advise folks to buy based on what dealers are in your area and if they have a good reputation with sales and service but if you have that and it’s a Kubota dealer then that’s the same as winning the jackpot. Keep well, great to see you back 🙏
Hi. Very well thought out designs. My MX6000 is a couple years old. I ran over a hidden stump when I first got it and bent and tore up stuff that a solid skid plate would have saved.
So nice to see you both!!! And what a nice tractor - but even better with your mods! You need to build a bracket to protect the window washer fluid in the back of the tractor. Where I grew up here in the south, everything that was "stuck" outside of the body, got knocked off by bushes, tree limbs, and just trash. When the bush hog would run over something, it would press it into the back of the tractor!! And as costly as these tractors are, they should include some lights in the rear - good you have come to the rescue. Good to see puss puss the kitty also. Hope you both are doing well and have a wonderful fall. What a blessing it is for me to call you a friend.
Hello Paul and Kasia! nice to see you again! I have the opportunity to admire such Kubota tractors when I go to work and my thoughts go to you that you are improving these tractors, but they are not popular in our country. I wrote it in a translator, if it doesn't translate well, I'm sorry, I can't learn this language. Thank you for the video!
Hi Klaus . Translator worked great. What is the language you speak? Kubota is popular in North America. Great to see your still here. Thanks for watching. Hope your doing well.
I noticed right away that it didn't have rear lights. Old school they mounted them on the hood at least my old Ford 3000 did. Nice looking tractor! I like the tires too!
Some storage solutions for inside the cab would be nice on the MX series. I'm taking delivery on a MX5400 in a few weeks and think that tool box is a must. Mine has rear facing work lights. I may look into adding LED's as well. Like your creativity and workmanship.
Nice to see you, Paul and Kathy Short. I like the mods but don't have a tractor. The foliage on the gate fooled me for a minute, I couldn't see the gate. Hope y'all are doing well, thanks for the videos.
lol. Kinda got tired of looking at the gate so I added that. We’re doing well. Between Covid and keeping busy we didn’t have much time to actually do videos but we’re back again. Thanks for asking. We hope your doing well. Kathy says hello as well. 🙏
I think it's a crime that Kubota would make a tractor like that and for what they charge, they don't include a rear work light. My cabbed Kubota B3030 also came without a rear work light. But at least, Kubota prewired it and gave a mounting bracket for a factory light/switch. The biggest issue was removing the headliner to access the wiring. For the life of me, I don't know why Kubota would not at least left the pig tails for the lights dangle out from the headliner inside? My other complaint was no 12volt-accessory port. My BX-25 had it, but the B3030 didn't.
Hello Paul and Kathy! nice to see you both again! That double step mod sure makes it easier to enter the bigger/higher tractors like this one! noticed that antenna/rubber duck type thing does not really clear that orange roof on the right front side. maybe make a short length adapter to hold that antenna an inch or two out and away from the roof canopy!? or could this be a problem with going through tree'd in area's ? or maybe mount the antenna on the back of the roof canopy? just above the rear light bar? Just throwing some ideas out to you here. Thanks for the video!
We pondered it. About the only place we could put it is just behind the left front wheel on the 4 FEL bolts that are there. Where were you thinking about putting it?
Paul remember that government contract you had with the 5740 and it required a fire extinguisher maybe since the mx5400 only has one entrance and exit door and if you were to do mini excavator mods have that as a mod for those as well cause people are using both platforms for trail maintenance with rotary cutters and the screens get plugged while doing trail maintenance and causing brush fires I’ve seen towing recovery videos where they are recovering burned tractors and mini excavators of that size
We’ve pondered doing other types of Kubota equipment but as I told others, once you bring this stuff into the world then we have to always build it and stock it and if you’ve looked at our site you’d see we got a lot of stuff to keep up with. Hope your doing well.
Well in other words you like highly inefficient low light lights with a short lifespan . Not me. I like long lasting, high efficiency long lasting bright lighting.
ive always enjoyed your videos mods or otherwise, but taking care of puss makes it "topnotch" i have a couple cats here that i have tamed and protect from the cat hating pitbull that belongs to my boss
Thanks James. Nice to see your still watching. Ya poor Ol puss had a rough life with her other owner. He was our next door neighbour and he never really looked after her. Hardy fed her but she would always sneak over to our place and we’d always feed her. He passed away early this year. No one even asked about her so we adopted her. I’m not going to lie, We love her. I’m glad your helping cats as well. Your a good person to do so and thanks for sharing. God bless.
Rear work light and two sets of rear remote valves are a must.
Very true. 👍

Nice to see your videos. I have seen a few in the last while. I am subscribed. Don’t know why I’m missing your vids.
Maybe you need to click the bell on the page to receive notification.. thanks for being here.

Nice Mods for the sweet MX 5400. Your 🐈 Cat did a quick scan of approval 🙂👍 Great to see both of you again. God bless 🙏 from the USA.

Happy to see mods again I sure have missed watching tractor mods 👍

Thanks bud. We have fun showing these things. I guess we don’t take life to seriously lol. Hope your doing well.

Great job Paul on your mod . 😊
Thank you ☺️
Looks great it really needed the Mods.. I would like to see additional storage inside the cab 🙂plenty of wasted space..
Not much room in the cab for a storage box. Our rear storage/tool box is about as far as we’re going with it.
Great looking modifications, guys! I'm still thrilled with the ones I got from you for my L3560. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Doug. That means a lot. Great to see your still watching. Appreciate your business and your support. Keep safe bud 🙏

Do you have any mods for the M62 TLB or is there a model you have listed that is similar and the mods will fit? Thanks

Happy to hear from Bay Roberts - whatever the topic.
How much is the step I have a MX 5200 . I need a step I'm old too
We don’t have a step designed for the MX 5200 at this time but one is in the plans later on.
Let me know when it's ready please. Yall are doing a great job
What about a fire extinguisher mount for an MX with a cab? :)
We pondered it. About the only place we could put it is just behind the left front wheel on the 4 FEL bolts that are there. Where were you thinking about putting it?
You guys are funny
😂🤣
Hello from Australia Paul and Kathy. Could you please explain why LED light bar at front is not legal? Seems rather odd.
They are only illegal on public roads because they blind oncoming drivers. Off road they can be used with no issue.

❤
Make a strong grill gard
Thanks Guys...
Mike M..
I’m not a fan of the led lights they are to bright and expensive to purchase that’s why I like the older lights instead
Well in other words you like highly inefficient low light lights with a short lifespan . Not me. I like long lasting, high efficiency long lasting bright lighting.
I have the mx6000
nice machine. Same tractor but with more power.
ive always enjoyed your videos mods or otherwise, but taking care of puss makes it "topnotch" i have a couple cats here that i have tamed and protect from the cat hating pitbull that belongs to my boss
