- The LED fog light bulbs were great but time to change them to amber pod fog lights. The whole process is very simple to change your stock fog lights or add them if you don't have fog lights already on your toyota tacoma!

I was born August of 1995 in Ohio. I now live in North Carolina. I am a mechanical engineering for a tire company and I have been a professional open-format club / mobile DJ since 2012. I created this UA-cam channel for the purpose of sharing my experiences and knowledge as I tinker and mod my 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
I have a 2021TRD Sport in White arriving at the dealer shortly as a replacement for my 2009 Tacoma SR5. In the great white Northeast of PA, we get snow, November through March. The amber fog lights are definitely a consideration for my first few upgrades. I will be binge watching your channel. My emphasis will be functional versus cosmetic in nature.
Grey is a shade. I like it.
Nice video. I installed mine on my rav4 and they are bright af. Just a tip that helped me, before installing the light, attach the cable to the light first because otherwise it's pretty hard to put it in when the ss3 is already installed.
Did the same setup on my 20 Off - Road with DD as well as their Ditch lights. Truck is magnetic grey metallic. The Pro grill with 4 LED marker lights rather than 3. I like their products. Nice truck man.
Quicksand is the best color my friend. But the grey is nice too.

LOVE my Cement Taco!
Installed these today by reaching behind the grill, ten minutes per side. These are high quality and 👍 value. I bought the sports because of the lower lumen output and they are much better than the OEM fogs.

Actually they dont bother on coming traffic. I aimed them down enough to avoid blinding people
Dope amber pods, Iv got 2 fogs on each side of my truck one amber one white and holy hell are they bright
You always do extra steps that aren’t needed to complete the mod like the oem switches for your lights you don’t have to take all that stuff off to do it. I reached over the grille and did it without having to remove it. You can also do it from under the truck without a need of a jack, Took 20 mins to complete.

Nice but no need for taking the entire front end off. Go through the front tires splash guards, save yourself a whole lot of time 👍

I ordered the Amber ones on black friday for my Cement SR5. BTW Cement is the best color other than maybe Army Green.
I haven't got too install mine yet. Can't wait to see how bright they are compared to the stock ones with yellow Lamin-x films.

My Army Green (2021 TRD OF) is by far the best color! But Cement and Quicksand are a great 2nd.

Nope have to in from behind the wheel well. Pull the liner out. Thats the only other option

How’d you get around the fact that the SL1 bulbs are not legal for headlight use? Love the idea of swapping them out, but kinda pricey to be told the are not legal.
Well legally the law says any headlight bulb other than factor is illegal. Diode dynamics has design theres to meet the specifications of factory bulb coverage / output. But because of that they are not legal. Its an old law dating back to 2007. Cops won't give you any trouble for them and if they do you swap back to stock go get it inspect then switch back to the leds but again I and my friends have never had any trouble for them

I'm not sure if it's a recall or just a problem were I live but toyota just install a free 10in auxiliary cooling fan on my mom's 2020 tacoma. According to the toyota employee they have had several people complain about this issue and they are taking care of the problem.

Great video. Voodoo Blue has a greater appeal! The PRO and Max are much brighter. I'm waiting on the Max to ship. I'm glad to see your approach to the change out. Some go through the wheel wells. Looks much easier through the top.

You should just go with the switchback fog lights so you can have both amber and white.
Lenses are swappable, you can have both clear a Amber

Those are not amber. I wish that DD made a true amber, but these are what DD calls selective yellow.

About how much did you end up aiming the lights down?
If a car is about 20ft in front of me the top of the beam hits just below there tail lights
These wash out your headlights. No need unless raining snowing or off road.

There is a screw loosen and titen it pretty much simple
