This may be my opinon but the lady talking was clearly jaded towards the City Select stroller. Everything was so "great" with the Uppababy but yet she clearly missed the point that City Select (depending on where you are in Canada and where you buy from) comes in almost $600 less. Uppababy retails nearly $1500 and the City Select is $899. There's also a lifetime warranty on the frame for City Select - the only stroller maker to do so. Baby Jogger has been around a lot longer and has actually crafted a lot of features you see on the Uppababy stroillers. Such as the peek-a-boo mesh windows and the large suspension wheels. If you are interested in a stroller, highly recommend going to a store that has floor models for you to play with, I found the Uppababy really "long" (front to back) and quite cumbersome. The City Select, specifically the Eco 2 model is much more dynamic and has a better turn radius. Plus aside from paying for the name brand of telling friends you bought an "Uppababy" which now that I've done my research, I associate as someone who paid too much for their stroller.

It is absolutely true a lot of strollers brands copied a lot of the city select features. I had the first city select about 9 years ago and absolutely loved it. Most strollers I see today look like a city select in terms of frame+ removable/turned seats configurations to turn a single to double.

I'm a nanny and my family has the City Select. I do notice though that Uppababy seems to allow all position combinations. Whereas the City Select there isn't enough room for back to back since the youngest needs a recline. I usually do baby in the front facing me and toddler in the back facing front so she can look around when I drive the stroller.

Agree I currently have the uppababy but I hardly use it. It’s so wide massive and it’s big it food and put in the car. I’ve had city select in the past and loved it so much more.

THIS! Also, what all these reviews fail to mention is: Uppa Baby Vista requires you to purchase an extra infant insert. Where as, the city select can accommodate 0-45 without spending an extra $75 on an insert.

The city select comes with just the seat and pram for that price. The uppa baby price includes the bassinet, shade covers, rain shields. So if you add up the price of all the accessories you'd have to buy extra for the BJ it's the same.

The city select sunshade also extends up for taller toddlers. This is one of my favorite feature on this stroller.

Forgot to mention the giant bar going through the basket of the uppa. Which is a big deal breaker IMO. It limits what you can put in there.

Also the baby jogger 2 actually weighs 27lbs NOT 30 a and has a smaller fold then the UppaBaby vista 2!! Also it’s cheaper in buying she also forgot to mention that not all frames are black with UppaBaby the BJCS2 already comes in black frame! Agree did did seem very bias towards the BJCS2 it also had a back pockett and more seat room! I’ve follow a mom in isnta had twins started off with UppaBaby V2 not that her twins are toddlers made the switch to the BJCS2 model becsue of more legroom and equal weight seats to accommodate both kids! UPPABaby seems nice for 1 kid at tagt point I rather just get the Nuna Demi Grow if I know I’m having kids spaced out 4-6 years where a second seat isn’t needed but if there close 18months -3 years apart would definitely consider the BJCS2!!!

I know you said that you would obviously turn the seats around with no child in there, but I've done it with the baby sleeping in the seat. Dad boss does it even with the 3.5 year old in a seat. (I'm a nanny not a mom...) My nanny family has the city select, but I see most nannies with a double stroller have the Uppababy Vista. That's why I looked up a comparison.

Have you compared these to the Evenflo xpand stroller?

Very biased towards the Baby Jogger City Select, I actually just got one for 80 instead of 800-900 dollars and it’s old but I have the car seat and the adapters plus the two seats, I only have one child but the uppa baby is way over priced and the BJCS does what’s needed, and the price is affordable. Get a new girl thanks

Just looked at the videos y’all post, it’s the whole channel. Of course she’s biased towards name brands that’s all you show. Unsubscribing

Was hoping for an actual double configuration comparison.
Does the baby jogger double configuration have the same amount of space between seats compared to the vista? It seems like models that don’t have the upper adapters have the seats way too close for practical use. Any thoughts?

From what I've found the Vista's double configuration is not worth it, they seats are close together. Also, when having 2 kids the baby will have to be at the botom and facing the other car seat. It's not worth having one weigh 35lbs, too expensive and the configurations are very limited

In My opinion owning both strollers. In my opinion city select lux is better, bench seat is compatible with only city select lux. And foldable seats for extra storage. But city select 2 and Vista no folding seats. Vista has a lower wieght on bottom seat. But city select 2 can have both same wieght on the seats.

I would have to disagree with Aileen here. The upper adapters make for more leg room with the double configuration on the vista, especially with your older child needing to be in the top as the rumble seat is only usable up to 35 lbs. the upper adapters also make it that both seats can fully recline when facing the parent, unsure about the baby jogger stroller having this capability. I have decision fatigue trying to pick from all these strollers, but from what I’m finding lately the Vista just offers more room. Check out the joovy qool as well, the price is in between the two and has 3 child capabilities that the baby jogger lacks. Hope this helps!

We have a UPPAbaby for our first baby. He’s 2.5 now n expecting one more.
Was looking at the Vista but the price tag is $1400 - which is kinda crazy.
Baby jogger seems like a decent deal but our first UPPAbaby is amazing!! Not sure what to do??
    What you recommend?

I'm not sure what you went for, but I've got the Baby jogger and thought the same. But the Uppababy comes with lots of accessories and the bassinet, so really they are the same price for all the same items.
