how useful is the magnetic clip actually? when the baby is in I’m thinking the magnet will need to be very strong to snap in place while the baby is squirming. I’m an expecting dad and we are wondering between v2 and v3.
Love this question! I’d estimate the magnetic buckle clip saves you about 6 seconds of finagling with the harness to secure your child in. It’s not an essential feature, but it’s a small convenience that is quite nice. One of my fave features on the V3 is really that removable seat liner - it truly is awesome for warmer seasons when you want to get more airflow in the stroller to keep your little one comfy.
The primary difference is that the rumbleseat has a weight limit of 40lbs and will sit in the lower position on the stroller, and the toddler seat (which comes with you Vista purchase) has a weight limit of 50lbs. The toddler seat will always be used in the upper position on the stroller.

The Vista V2 is a stroller that can convert from a single to a double, while the Cruz is purely a single stroller (in terms of seats!). Many families want a stroller that converts from 1->2 children, but don't necessarily require a bassinet. This allows families the option to build a stroller customized to their specific needs. Many stroller brands do not have a from-birth stroller option without secondary products (prams/bassinets/car seats/inserts) - I like to think of it more as a way to invest in solutions that best meet the needs of a family, vs paying upfront for a bunch of options that may or may not align with your needs :)

It is a pretty cool feature on the Demi Next - but the Vista V3 does still come with a bug net, so all is not lost!

Here in Australia they included the bassinet with no option to exclude it. $2000 AUD, roughly $1,850 CAD.
