A friends family moved into a house where a guy was killed outside and a woman was killed inside the house. I was visiting and went to the ground floor bathroom. When I opened the door. I saw a woman with long black hair whose face I never saw sitting on the toilet. Immediately said I’m sorry and closed the door. And realized I had already passed his daughter who is the only female in the house going to the bathroom. So I have seen one. And I also lived in an apartment where someone had hung himself. And was essentially attacked by something pushing the corner of the bed near my head down and feeling like someone heavy sat on my chest. Escalating to my moving out.

So I called out and went in, when I walked to a boulder it stopped suddenly. I was in a monk cemetery, at least I think that's what it was. They are friendly (an older man and a young boy) and both me & the family just assume they were settlers or pioneers of some sort as the area I live in was mostly wooded, distant land untouched up until 1990 when they started to section out the land for road accessibility. He shows up most often during the day. We have a island in the kitchen and he hides under the part where it hangs over when I'm cooking.
My grandmothers house is different lol She has a bad spirit in her house. That spirit knocks on the closet door (they have it locked because of the spirit) and the younger kids can claim to hear him say "open the door" or "let me out." You asked so I'll reply. I am not sure if I believe in ghosts. My extreme disbelief and somewhat irritation in my Aunt saying she feels ghosts, hears them, and sees them (after I caught her lying a few times) makes me feel like I don't believe in them, but my openness about some stories and my love for hearing the stories, makes me feel like I have a possible belief in ghosts. I mean, it is possible because I am not all knowing. I might just be a type of agnostic for ghosts.

While you both were going through the notebook I noticed something in the bottom right corner floating by like dust two different times haha. It was fun to watch this video but I'm glad I did it during the day! And everything looked so yummy that you ate

Seeing the positive impressions of spirits after having been reminded of a facebook group I'm in from years ago (about a not-so-good-stories asylum from my hometown) actually brought me a feeling of peace. And I can't get over how comforting that restaurant looked.
And I need that senbei. ☺

I don't believe in spirits or anything like that, but I would still love to stay at a place like that. It seems like a cool place, and I like to think that I have an open mind if I was confronted with something that would suggest and other-worldly explanation.

the part where the owner talks about triangle or hexagon shaped chopsticks makes so much sense! I'm going to find some hexagon chopsticks now since mine is square :S The haunted inn looks like a fun experience. Thanks for sharing! The photos with the orbs are taken with a regular old camera with developed film, not a smartphone camera though.

I remember in "Ao no Exorcist" demons/ghosts were accompanied by little dark fly-like creatures. The spots on the photos reminded me of that.

@@jamesfry8983 i woke up from the only nightmare ive ever had where i could feel the assualt on my physical body, in my dream a demonic woman was getting ready to kill me and i felt something really horrible happening to my actual body and struggled to wake up. i manage to wake up and instantly sit up and notice a centipede right next to me, i have never killed one before but i instinctively squished that little jerk ]:

I stayed there in July of 2019. My fiend and I both brought some toys for the little spirit and placed them in the toconoma in the main room. We also left some toys in the room that the spirit could play with. We didn’t see any orbs, but several times, the little toy cars we had on the table in the room would start to move in their own. Since it was in July, the staff also took us in a tour to a nearby field that had a small creek running though it. We saw hundreds of lightning bugs dancing through the night sky. It was a wonderful experience! Sorry that you didn’t get to see or experience anything.
