There's something so ethereal when a stag turns its neck to look at you, just that one moment of knowing each others presence. Their so aware of us and their damn majestical. Stags make Scotland so much more beautiful, not that its needed ! Great Video ❤
Loved you’re trip son and I love Knoydart! Wee tip on your commentary, you say “absolutely incredible” all the time , maybe think about changing it a little? Well done guys!
That sounds like an epic adventure across the Knoydart Peninsula! Covering 60 miles in such a remote part of Scotland must have been both challenging and rewarding. It’s amazing to see such untouched wilderness. Thanks for sharing this journey and have a great day! Cheers, Simon - Tales From Abroad
Another smashing vlog, thank you. Viewers would be interested in your food choices and cooking facilities, I know you mentioned the jet boil but we're nosey and want more details 😂 Best wishes, ⛰ 🏕
Do you want a backpacking buddy? I am a pretty avid backpacker and do 2-3 night trips on the regular. Did half the PCT and some parts of the AT. The Scottish mountains look epic and it would be nice to go with a local on a few trips. Its only a 7 hour flight.
Pleasure watching your hikes. This one Brought back very happy memories, Ladhar Bheinn was my very first munro back in the 80's I'll be travelling that way again soon - most likely staying at lower ground. best wishes on your channel - ray
Gosh, I have to admire the effort involved and the scenery. Hiking and climbing Munros with a full kit takes some doing. Not forgetting the midges and ticks. As much as I enjoy hiking in shorts I gave up due to the number of ticks I was collecting. Well done for producing a brilliant trip during a rubbish summer.
Walked in under the Viaduct to do the two Munros one Sunday having driven over from Oban. Felt like a long walk in. Then to do the two hills with full packs.... The views were amazing. For two young guys, you do fantastic trips and make, edit some super videos. All credit to you. Thanks for sharing.
You know, it takes a special kind of person to achieve all that - for it's not just about physical ability, it's about optimism, and not being too given to feeling ill-done by when the view you were looking forward to isn't there... You need to be level headed, have the ability to keep things in proportion and not be a quitter - and probably much else besides! You said at the beginning you wanted to test yourself and you've done it with flying colours, I'd say. Only one thing troubles me - is one pot noodle really sufficient at the end of days filled with so much physical exertion? Take good, and if necessary, better care of yourself, OK!!
What a trip, I just loved following along on the map bringing back many memories of a couple of trips to Knoydart over 20 years ago so for you like me the adventure will forever embedded in your memory ❤ Thank you guys and ATB
That was truly epic! Thanks so much for sharing. Definitely a youngsters’ trip, although I’m surprised you could carry enough pot noodles to fuel all those miles! Showed a truly stunning area at its best. 👏👏👏
That was a great achievement, well done boys. The views from the roof of Scotland are magnificent I love the way your mate swings his arms, and takes very long strides as he powers along. It's awesome to be able to share these great experiences with a mate Bring on your next trip and video
I hiked solo from Inverie to Glenfinnan last year and fell in love with Knoydart. Seeing it from the summits shows its beauty in a whole new light. Amazing video and very much enjoyed. Cheers.
What a stunning video, beautiful, though you mate is an admin nightmare, he needs to sort his kit out, all that stuff dangling from his Bergen it would drive me crazy, get it packed away 😂
Hi Gregor. Absolutely fantastic, some effort that with the heavy packs on. Knoydart is a stunning place to explore. I need to get there one day. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us mate All the very best Dave 😀🥾⛰🏕️🏴
A really great trek and video as always, one of your best yet I'd say. We can only imagine the long and deep conversations you must have with your friend between shots!
Super video thanks. I would say Sgurr nan Corrie-achan. I have a friend who lives at Inchlaggan. I have often followed the road down to Kinlochourn, but I've never been up the mountains. You did a great job.
The energy levels of you two is amazing, that was some 1st day, not to mention the other days !! I was introduced to Knoydart by Cameron McNeish's 'Wilderness walks' TV show many years ago - an amazing place. Always check for ticks after walking through bracken, especially in shorts.
It took a while multiple rerunning the video to come close to appreciation of the scale and endurance required to complete this tour of a very testing group of peaks, where exposed rocky steps, gullies and arretes are par for the course. And carrying home for 4 days on your backs into the bargain!! Its unfortunate that all that investment in energy was offset by the claggy weather conditions. Sgurr na Ciche, and views therefrom, is one of the most photographed and artistically painted peaks in the country. As for Ladhar Bheinn, I'd say list it for a return trip. The route from Inverie is a worthy alternative. And get the extra pleasure of a ferry crossing and stay at a fine hostelry at Inverie.
What a place! I am envious! Please go back in late autumn when the scenery changes colour. We went through the Highlands in summer, autumn and then winter and get something different every season, the change of colours, snow on top of the hills etc.
i just found your channel about a week ago and quickly subscribed. after a long day at work, it’s very relaxing to watch your hiking videos. as a bonus, i’ve learned so much about the beautiful area you have your summiting adventures. your accent is very cool too! keep it up, man. fantastic videos!
Mate that was an absolute belting video, the scenery was superb and the effort you guys put in to do all that in 4 days. You need to get up here to Skye at some point, although the weather has been awful, hardly had a dry day all summer, done nothing but piss with rain and blow a gale the last few months, brutal man. Would love to see a few wee camp cooks and what food you usually have on your journeys, even if it is a Bombay Bad Boy😂. Take care big man and awra best🏴👍
Yeh I need to get to Skye for sure. Planning to do the Skye Trail at some point, not sure if I’ll get it done this year with the weather though😂😂 Thanks for the support, it means a lot😊
Brilliant love that approach along Loch Hourn I did Ben Aden a few years back there’s a short video on my channel it was a long walk in and out but superb great area which you captured very well ATB
And… I’d love it if you would put your routes down in an easily accessible way. Even screengrabs of your map or electronic route. And I for one would be happy to pay for it.
What makes it not wilderness in your view ? For me like the rest of the country, it's had its entire eco system destroyed by greedy corporations and individuals seeking wealth 🤑, all known as DESTROYERS of Creator Gods Realm.
Well done boys 👏 ohh to be young and fit , that was an amazing journey, great viewing.🤗🏴
Glad you enjoyed it😊
Wow. Stunning. What a landscape. Greetings from Poland.

Thanks for the support mate. That’s an incredible Munro to do first, fair play👍
Yeh it’s a tough decision on whether or not to wear shorts, especially in places where ticks are so common. Thanks for the support, it means a lot🙏

15:04 Well, I've never been in a Loony Bin, but I'm certainly looking forward to it now.
At least, I would be, if I wasn't so darn old!
Me neither to be honest, but it wasn’t too bad😂😂

Sgurr na Ciche used to have a trig point, it was shattered by lightening strikes! Remote yes, wilderness no.
What makes it not wilderness in your view ? For me like the rest of the country, it's had its entire eco system destroyed by greedy corporations and individuals seeking wealth 🤑, all known as DESTROYERS of Creator Gods Realm.
i cringed so much at those midges.
Yeh they were rough😂😂
Highlands are awesome
They really are
