Thanks man🙏
Absolutely Amezin! Lovely film, very relaxing. Thank you
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it
cracking trot out
When you are in places like that in those conditions, the peace & solitude lives with you forever. Magnificent, and you clearly love the wild places as much as I do. Your enthusiasm is great to see.
100%, best place to be
Remember guys these mountains and Glen's are never to be taken lightly. Sadly a Father and his 12 year old son lost their lives walking in this area.
Beautiful views. Great video. Thanks for sharing. 👍5
Stunning. Simply stunning.
Your videos are going from strength to strength. Very relaxing this one.
What a great route. The Buchaille is a fantastic mountain-you cant help stopping to look at it.! Really enjoyed this video.
Loving the Helm 1
Great tent👍
Magnifique, merci pour les tips 👍🏾 nous pourrons en profiter lors de notre prochain voyage en novembre 💙🏴💙🏴
No worries, hope your trip goes well
Great vid young man
Great video, that walk is definitely worth doing 😊
100% worth doing 😊
Wow Man, what a beautiful walk. The first campsite next to the Loch was amazing! Thanks for sharing, all the best, John.
Yeh got so lucky with the spot I found. Thanks for the support
I want to go there... ive got the same tent so ok no matter what the weather! Great film 😊
Thanks
Scotland’s most scenic glen. Hmmm. There’s plenty of choice. Glen Kinglass is a stunner, no doubt, but try the walk from Glen Pean to Loch Morar and back to Glen Dessary before settling on a final verdict. Having said that, a trip over the Munros from Cruachan to the Buachailles is my most memorable backpacking trip ever. I’ve got to say, this type of video, a journey on paths which rarely feature on UA-cam is exactly what I want to watch. Thank you for sharing it.
@thedaftestnameicouldthinko8233...............most scenic .......everyone has there favourite ...give the guy a chance ...he,s still young for pity,s sake ......
Was more talking about Glen Etive, but yeh there’s loads of nice glens in Scotland for sure
Another wonderful video. I thought your Lairig Gru walk was the best but you've topped it with this walk. You were so lucky with the weather. I'll have to plot your route on a map now. Thank you. I've sent you a Thanks donation.
Thanks a lot for the support. Really means a lot🙏
well done 😃
Wise words from a mature young man regarding the rubbish on the beach, fantastic video beautiful scenery and great filming, commentary and editing as usual. Keep up the good work. Cheers for the adventure.
Thanks mate🙏
Done the same route other way round where the mountain (Buechletive) was in front of you not behind and to take your eyes you off it you could not (it is a BEAST ) also rested at same spot on the walk as you when you sat on the concrete....(30years ago )....thank mate for the memories ....you must be the next TOM WEIR ....I hope ...ATB for the next hike ........
Thanks for the kind words. Glad the video could bring back some memories
amazing footage ! well done
Where you stopped by Loch Etive was supposed to be very near where the Gaelic heroine Deirdre spent her time in exile with the sons of Uisneach. They built Deirdre a small house there which they called her Grianan, ‘sun bower’.
Looks like an amazing trip. I have camped in Glen Kinglas a few times. What an awesome place it is.
Thanks for another great video 👍👏
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed
Congrats on hitting 2K subscribers! 🌲🥾🏕

Yeh it looks amazing the way I went up. Definitely one for the future👍
Your channel deserves more views there Wow great video.
Thanks man😊
Well done young man, I knew you could do it but this video is at number one due to content and footage , I watch lots of UA-cam but you have the balance right, also well done with the rucksack cover just incase! I have this walk on my list as well as currour to Dalwhinne walk also Blair Atholl to kinguessie. Well done my friend. Kind regards Mark.
Thanks mark, yeh it’s a great route. I’ll have to give the others you mentioned a go aswell at some point
Only one word to describe this video “fantastic”
i used to hillwalk years ago before ill health wrecked stuff, I've just been given the all-clear to start slow and this has made me want to try a wee country donder.
Great news, good luck on your ventures 😊
Stunning video again young man thanks for taking us along
Nice one Dave. I have my eye set on doing 2 and camping at same spot sometime this summer! Cheers and ATB 👍
It’s a great route, hope you get the weather for it 🤝
Fantastic video again mucker, loved it!
Hi mate. As you said on many occasions in the video….WOW,absolutely amazing. You’re so lucking living in Scotland, it’s just the gift that keeps on giving. That has to be one of your best trips so far, just beauty everywhere you looked.
Thanks as ever for taking us along.
All the best
Dave
Thanks Dave. Yeh I really am lucky living in Scotland. Englands not too bad either though eh
@@ScottishSummiteer Haha yeah, to be fair living in the north west I’ve easy access to the lakes, the Yorkshire dales, the Forest of Bowland and the Peak District. And to be honest I can probably get to the southern uplands in just under 3 hours. 😃⛰🥾🏴🏴
Superb trip and video. Enjoyed that thanks
Cracking video bud. Actually looked way more enjoyable than just a Munro bag. Probably gonna do that route over the summer too so I’ll be sure to give you a shout out, looked at a similar route before but was unsure of its links up, cheers for that 👌
No worries mate. Yeh it’s an amazing route. Hope it all goes to plan when you do it in the summer 👍
Great video. Can't wait to go back to Scotland ❤
Another really interesting video. You do certainly get out and about.
That was great camera work, really portrayed the landscape.👍
This was beyond amazing man, your content is always masterfully edited and narrated!
Thanks a lot mate. Means a lot
Another great video, thanks again Gregor. I just hope there are enough young people around who share your deep appreciation of our wonderful planet to mean that it has a future.
Hope so too. Thanks for the continued support 😊
I'm only 5 minutes in just now but before I forget ... re water crossings:
I recently found out about the SEPA website and it's almost realtime river level data from monitoring stations.
While they may not cover your exact route I'm going to be using it in the future to gauge what burn crossings might be like.
Nice 1 👏
A real landmark edition. The extended run time does full justice to the scope and distance of your trek, every moment fully engaging --
And what a trip.😮
Great you got to complete your previous watery attempt to traverse Glen Shirra to Loch Dochard. We can even forgive the jokes😖
How often would one find Loch Etive with a perfect unrippled mirror surface. Not often, but you did!!
Reflected in the water as you trogged up the loch-side was the granite wall on the West side of the loch, the Trilleachan or Etive slabs. Very much rock climber territory🧗♂️, but perfectly captured in your imagery.
Lingering views of the Buachaille in perfect spring lighting, Sublime!!
And all accomplished, as ever, on one Pot Noodle 😂😂
What was that !!!!!that was a joke, awesome video,so envious.Travel safely
Thanks man🙏
Thank you Sir. I've a plan to do it tuther way roond... 😊 Thank you for sharing 👍
Yeh it might be better the other way with the views towards the bookil. Ah well, suppose I can do it again at some point😂😂
Great work young man, well done, keep it up, what a fantastic walk, take care 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it pal🤝
Another fantastic trip and you really inspired me with this route being an area I’m unfamiliar with and again just the type of route I would enjoy.
Thanks 🙏
🏕️😊👍
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed
Great video, this is on my list next month when I'm staying in the area. Might need to pack a flame thrower for the midges though 😅
Yeh I’d pack two just incase😂😂
@@ScottishSummiteer 😂
Glen Etive is one of my favourite glens! That's another brilliant film you've done! Sticky rib pot noodle?🤔😃👍🏼
Can’t beat a pot noodle haha
One of your best videos. Stunning scenery. Have you thought about showing this at a Mountain Festival? It should be shown in all cinemas in Scotland, to show the natural beauty of the world around us.
😂😂 thanks a lot for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed the video
Great little circuit, would you be so kind as to share your route. Keep up the good work
I've worked it out from his description using my maps.
Looks a pretty good route tbh.
Love your adventures. Glen Kinglass and Loch Etive has always fascinated me. I love your thoughts on what you find enroute
Thanks man. Means a lot🙏
What an amazing route. Yes, there's an awful lot of Loch Etive, isn't there? And there's a reason they chose that glen for James Bond, too... Buchaille Etive Mor or rather, the foot of it - just across the river from Lagangarbh Hut, is the first place I ever went camping as a 10-year old - an unbelievable 50 years ago this September! We got driven out by midges on the most epic scale ever - they came in the night and it was like something out a Stephen King novel...! You chose your season wisely!
Not a bad place for a first camp eh. I’m sure you’ve got some great memories
Are there no bears?? ....been to Alaska (Kodiak island) a couple of times big ole Kodiak bears (Grizlies) out there though i can say Never had the fortune (Misfortune?) of running into one of them.....I'm an old Spaniard....came to Amerika back in '68.....Like a gypsy.....I'm a foreigner in Spain, in the US , and here in Puerto Rico....
First comment!
How long is a trip like this and what do you pack for food along the way on a multiday hike?
This was 3 days. I normally eat foods that don’t go bad (like nuts, chocolate, gummy sweets). Not the healthiest but good calories 😊
Are you mainly Scottish ancestry man? Most people are mixed especially these days. My dad's side is mainly Irish and my mom's side is mainly Italian. I'm sure I have some other European descent also but have never taken one of those DNA tests. I admit my Irish side of the family loves to drink and party and so do I LOL. I have been watching some documentaries about medieval Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England. Man they drank a ton of alcohol. I mean of course throughout history many cultures have and still do. I'm not saying it's right it can definitely take its toll on a person's health after a while.
Yeh I’m mainly Scottish mate. People from Scotland definitely drink a lot as well haha. Seems to be common in this part of the world 😂
Second comment!
Porque nol o haces el camino de Santiago en España.
Would love to do it at some point 👍
I know I joke about your food choices😅
But please accept a contribution towards a meal on the way home or top up the fuel.
Haha yeh I tend to eat a load of rubbish when I’m out camping, mainly because it’s cheap. But this will go a long way, thanks a bunch for the continued support 😊🙏
I enjoy all your videos, maybe you could dip into a bit of history and enlighten yourself as to why there is no one in the areas you visit. Why has every nook and cranny got a name yet it is devoid of people, the beautiful views of man made wilderness is nothing to be astounded or joyous about . There are estimates of around four million people are missing from Scotland, hence the so called wilderness. And maybe a book on place names and how to pronounce them will help.
All those beautiful places are bare because of the Highland Clearances, sad eh,.😍😍
Great adventure and those views! Love your content 👍🏻
Thanks man🙏
