- Jeremy Hardy, Tim Brooke Taylor, Jan Ravens and Barry Cryer join Jack Dee and the ever-delightful Samantha for another dose of the antidote to panel games.
BBC Radio 4, 2017.
So many of them gone now.... I shed tears for Barry but spent the night listening to shows and laughing a lot. So much fun with all of them. Kind and gentle humour.
I'm traumatised about Jeremy Hardy. Rest In Peace ✌🏼 and thanks for the laughs, mate
Such a wonderful talent, taken far too young. How we miss him.
Death is a cruel bastard. It takes away those we love and those that make us laugh.
I always wish I had the superpower to bait and switch - choose a substitute and save the lovely person.
The most obvious person is my most obvious replacement, but in the yt insanity, that would count as h*t sp***ch and b*lly *ng. And you would be locked out of here, by some prig, with the personal charm, intelligence and kindness of blond 1930's Prussian
Thanks Jeremy, any time I hear that bloody awful song I'll think of your version and I'll feel better
Still wonderful to hear Jeremy Hardy, he's still sorely missed. Even Jack couldn't resist the Irresistable Rise of Arturo Ui.
"The Remains of the Day" in my pants, broke him. I think it was the first time the game was played and he was looking undefeatable. I think it was Barry.
An amazingly talented man who IMHO didn't get the recognition he deserved
I think he did. Terribly funny go but hugely talented
Sleep well Jeremy. RIP
I'd rather live in a world with Jeremy Hardy still here, than one with Donald Trump.
That's like saying I would like a fabulous afternoon tea, rather than having my entrails eaten by rats, as I watch.
I think 5/6 of the planet would agree with you.
Barry has joined Jeremy. Heaven must be rocking with laughter.
Barry has joined Tim, and Jeremy and Humph and Willie Rushton.
Soon there will be a full team. Heartbreaking.
But I would like to watch a Heavenly episode, with Jeremy's singing rival being Florence Foster Jenkins.
And note, when Jeremy tries to sing in character he is far better ,- NOT perfect!!! But far better than when he sings as himself.
wow he's amazing
