I think its a DMX CLAP. But how did you get your transients translate so smoothly? Love the 80s´ Sound of that record. + Watching on my Analizer this is not an 808 Kick. Looks like an accoustic bassdrum wich kind of works like a Linn Drum Kick with that two bumps. Thanks for this man! Haven´t heard it in a while! You guys rock!

I was listening to the first part where Jake said his Moog needed repair. I was thinking, how did he make a production with old synths work so well, they get warm and start getting out of tune. Then later he said the pre-chorus was 30 cents or something out of tune and I'm like, yep, that is what old synths do. Haha. Nice.
