Sounds great. Plus we can tell your having fun. Lots of ppl start playing but forget to enjoy it. Then it becomes like a chore, and then it's not important to em anymore. Keep on bringing us our favorite tunes from growing up...
It's good that you did this song, after reading Vito hurt his wrist shortly after the band broke up and stopped doing rock music, Mike Tramp is still going strong.
Awesome! Any fan of EVH will certainly enjoy Bratta's work. Keep the WL covers coming! Lots of cool theory tips and tricks employed in them! Thanks for the work you are putting into this!
You rocked another one. That album was amazing but, it didn't take off into main stream like the rest. VERY underrated band. WAIT was my favorite tune off that CD. Praying you will play that. The solo is wild!
Awesome playing sir!!!! You nailed the tone and the feel. You know, I believe Ed totally kicked the door down and created a whole new approach to the electric guitar in every facet. Starting with the gear modifications that enabled him to achieve the sounds he heard in his head, which inspired his writing and playing to be 100% original. He's the GOAT imho. Vito walked right through that same door that Ed knocked down and instead of completely imitating Ed, he created his own niche. A sound that's easily recognizable as his own, even though he's using a lot of Ed's gear and techniques. The same could be said for Lynch and Bettencourt, but I prefer Vito's consistent use of melody in his solo's and his unique style of rhythm playing that simply enhances the song without hijacking it. He's under rated for sure, but also very under utilized. I just wish his career would of been 20 or so years longer.
Vito used a Transtrem guitar to play that song. Which means that it was tuned up 2 steps. I started trying to play this a couple of days ago and realized I could not play it correctly on a regular guitar. Great song though.
@@TheRetroGuitarist I’ve been in the market for a new guitar and thought about the special vs the standard. I suppose maybe saving the money and getting the standard might be best.
@@TheRetroGuitarist I’ve read that the locking tremolo isn’t the same and has some issues but otherwise works well on the standards. I was surprised to hear yours was a special. What year is it? It must be a model from a few years back. I don’t see that color anymore.
It's a 2016 satin red EVH. I got it used because I love the color. I'm not a fan of gloss paint which is what is used on the later models. It took me awhile to find it the guitar though. Was glad when I finally found one.
😎🤘
I LOVE VITO BRATTA's playing. I saw him in concert and caught a pick. Magical moment.
I kind of like how Vito is mostly a secret to the world, in relation to EVH.

No matter how old I get this song still makes me feel 15 years old again, that’s the power of music I guess. Great playing! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Same here. This song just makes me smile.

Yea, Tramp seems like a very cool. I've watched a couple of interviews with him and he seems to have a good outlook on life.
Fantastic job . Vitto bratta had his own style and nobody thought about melodic playing as he did .
Thanks Dean! Yep, Vito did it his own way.
👏👏👏👏👏👏

Thanks! Will do!
I love all the trivia bits you put in your videos.
Thanks David.

Thanks! Yea, it is really too bad that Vito called it quits.
Can you play white lion little fighter please

How well does that EVH standard stay in tune?
I've had zero issues with it.

Actually this is a Special. I would imagine the standard would be basically the same.
