What is up Mortal Kombat fans!!! Richard Divizio here! I have to say Storm did a fantastic job on this! I saw an early prototype online and the facial expressions were not like mine. I sent some photos over via a contact that someone gave me and so to me it looks like they really considered my expressions for the final, and to me, its pretty bad ass!!!
Love it! He really looks like the sprite out of the early Mk games. I was hoping we’d get his MK1 outfit with some of the hair, but this classic outfit is definitely one that comes to mind when I think Kano. Cannot wait to get this guy. Loved the photos
Was hanging out for some Heart Rip pose inspiration.. 😅 I'm going for that classic fatality setup. Definitely rate Kano more so than other MK releases of recent. Niiice!
Pre ordered Shao Kahn (MK9) and Goro (MKX) a while back and who knows when they'll come out (I'm thinking some time in 2024). This review has convinced me to look into picking up a Kano as I wait. Kano isn't a character I liked or chose a great deal back in the day, but I do like Richard Divizio (the actor who played Kano) and this figure is pretty cool. No doubt, he'll add further coolness to my collection for sure.
Storm oughtta start pumping these figures out faster, especially with other companies having the license to release other fighting game lines like street fighter and tekken for 1/4 the price of a storm collectibles figure.
Agreed, thats one of the draw backs of storm for me, they couldve already had the female ninjas out as well as sonya, johnny, jax etc. But im fine with waiting, since these are so detailed.
Another great storm review. Like always, your posing is immaculate. Im in love with the MK Storm stuff, even if i was a little bothered by the character selection before. We've now got, the 3 sub bosses, liu kang, and kano now to hold us over. ( Sheeva otw as well which im excited for and kitana.)
Great video as always. On the topic of Storm Collectibles, anyone know if the newer Storm MK3 ninjas have similar hand/wrist sockets as the MK2 ninjas? I was dusting earlier this year and went to move my MK2 Reptile, which had been posed with the forceball effect forever, and one of his hands just fell out of the wrist socket. Apparently because a retaining ring in the wrist just cracked? I was never rough with it, didn't swap out the hands more than a couple times and generally took good care of it. Would love to repair it if I could because Reptile is one of my favorites and this figure is now going for hundreds online.
Unfair question as they're totally different figures, but if you had to pick one, would you pick this or the Blood Force Krig? (Working on adding stuff to go with Cosmic Legions Display 😅)
You make a good point! I own about a dozen Storm Collectibles, & the larger figures always seem to turn out the best overall. The same could be said about the Marvel Select line.

i think its time for me to stop collecting these guys, i mean liu kang is so small and kung lao head sculpt is so bad compared to the rest of the line.

I have my eyes on Balrog and Zangief! And now, lol, after watching your review, I want a Mortal Kombat figure! BTW, I got that sweet looking Gatchaman Ken the Eagle pre-ordered (coming out this month supposedly.) You getting that one? Would love to see your take on it!

Great review! He looks a little generic in the face, but after the fantastic Liu Kang and Balrog releases, I’m excited for this.

Of all the Klassic MK figures, I’d say Kano has the best likeness to his original actor. That’s definitely Richard Divizio!

I don't know its probably just me but the human MK fighters don't impress me like Goro, Shao, Kintaro, etc do!!🤷♂️
