Finally ever since I first went to franks and sons I was thinking why hasn’t unCAGEDgamez been here yet. The place is massive and very overwhelming you can easily spend a whole day there can’t wait to go back in January and buy everything Mortal Kombat
Facts I was overwhelmed my first time going there
Lol your names funny
You can easily remove permanent marker with rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer, and a dry-erase marker. Yes, a dry-erase marker. So you could have bought the Noob Saibot figure and erased “To Ron”.
It doesn’t leave any evidence of the ink previously being there either.
I’m surprised more sellers don’t do that.
You need a Google doc of all your owned items (sealed/unsealed) so you can just check your phone before you buy a duplicate.

Frank & Son's is a really good place to find rare collectable figurings and other stuff. Sometimes celebrities go there to shop for stuff, like Post Malone. I have already seen him their in two separate occasions, while shopping there.
Been going to Frank and Sons for the better part of two decades. Would love to do something like this but with TMNT collectibles. If only I had the cash! haha

You could've erases the to Ron portion with acetone or rubbing alcahol and a qtip.
I am not a Mortal Kombat figure collector, but they are badass. I reaaally dig the Storm Collectible ones. I will say; months ago I did buy the Mortal Kombat 11 Joker figure AND a few days ago I actually picked up the Mortal Kombat 11 Baraka figure. He was hands down my favorite in MK II. Figure was on clearance, had to do it.

Frank and sons is DEFINITELY over rated!!! Prices are sooooooooo high! That wonderful vendor with the big 20% off is at some degree a scam because the prices are so high that the 20% ur getting off is barely bringing the price down to what you can find on eBay and other selling apps! If your wet behind the ears you’ll definitely spend more than what you would! Very very expensive vendors! Beware and do your research before shopping there! And always negotiate and bargain with the vendors!

I only go to Frank's for the cards, specifically Magic the Gathering cards, but sometimes I walk around when I have time and look at all the cool stuff they have. I always wondered if anyone ever bought those figurines I see and now I know that they do.
And I see you don't show any prices. So that goes to show me that this store is ripping. People off. They probably bought this stuff at a dime. And they're someone up for ten dollars ripping people off
You could’ve easily bought that Noob figure. Looks like it was signed in sharpie and the personalization to Ron would’ve wiped right off….

i go to frank and sons everyother week. glad you werent there for the old warehouse days that place was brutal no a/c parking was a lot worse awful location and it smelled.
Ahh. Frank and Sons. I was up there last year and man it had amazing things. It's like a small Anime and collectable toy show right in your backyard. If you are a nerd/ otaku I high recommend paying this place a visit at least once while you are in L.A.
Whaaaaat really? Been going there for awhile just cause it’s something fun to do. They have a few good vendors so me & my brothers will go get some food & buy a card or an action figure and call it a day.

@@maryharris9386 he’s not being rude whatsoever, probably due to the fact that he probably lives near the city Industry area. So it’s a typical hang out spot for him and his friends. I usually go to Frank and Sons when I can and cross my fingers to find parking. It’s usually an hour drive to commute there given the distance I live in.

@@maryharris9386 my sister in Christ it’s not that deep lol he just simply stated he goes there with friends and family. Given the way he words it, he’s probably a local and commutes there consistently. Which isn’t a big deal for some, don’t take it the wrong way. I definitely hope you get the chance to visit Frank and Son’s again.

Military, coins, books, Legos, it collectors galore. And it's all here in La Habra, California.
Best part for me it's just down the street and on the other side of the freeway from my optometrist

Nice video but I feel like the title was a bit misleading because it was called “ buying everything Mortal Kombat challenge” when in fact you basically bought items you didn’t have and even picked and choose with not buying the signed “to Ron” signed mortal Kombat figure and I do understand where you’re coming from with it saying someone else’s name but your title does state that you’re buying everything Mortal Kombat at this event. Next time I hope you really do buy everything because that will create more shock factor and be a more accurate leading title.

I remember that old location where some of us would always wonder if our car was still parked in that warehouse where everyone else parked on a Wednesday and would walk a distance and would be worried if we got towed because of business hours Lol 😂. If I was with friends and I was the driver, I would go back to the car within the hour to make sure if it was still there lol 😂

Unless people LET other people walk away with those items for $2 I can bet u every MK item u have, not a SINGLE person will walk away with anything u auction for $2. Why? Because again, not how auctions work. I BET 2$ someone else bets Over me, that $2 will turn into $100 before u know it (for a SIGNED, RARE item). Just facts my man.
So only way someone would get LUCKY enough to win even ONE item at just $2 (whatever it may be) is if they bet, n no one else bets (aka other people GIVE that person the auction for $2) but again, it's an auction, n u said it urself, rare signed items roflmao. Not how Auctions work and where plenty of people would LOVE to walk away with something for $2 (be it, rarely signed, vintage, nothing special etc.) The reality is, that's just not happening.
Only way someone wins ANY of this for $2, is if u bid. N again, people are NICE enough to let someone "have" it for $2 aka no on else bids.
Once someone sees, oh someone already bid for $2 they just consider it "sold" lol good luck having people do that in an auction.
Auctions are a GREAT way to see how scummy people really are, because u will see people aren't "nice" and it's not the "nicest" or most deserving person who wins auctions. 9/10 times it's the a**hole who just has more money than everyone else, n wait for the last second to place a HIGH bid, n they do it in the final seconds so no one has time to rebid etc.
Just go onto ebay and enter into some auctions. See how scummy people are. No one is "letting" u have any of that for $2 mark my words. People will see that $2 and bid, n keep bidding, that $2, as I said before, will be in the triple digits faster than u know it.

Collecting plastic toys is the worst. They stink, are brittle and prone to rot and spontaneously breaking/melting in their packages from cheap plastics used. One day youll grow out of it and stick all that crap in a box, then later find out its all worth 1/10th of what you expected. This is the life of every plastic toy collector.

At this point, I'd say ps2 is retro. If not solely based on the graphics from most of those games, it was still fairly clunky during that time, even the best games like Halo, Shadow of the Colossus, FF, etc...

Im there almost every weekend. You have to find the cheap deals. Stay away from the ones in the entrance 🤣 over price on everything. You try to sell them something, and they lowball you and go and put your figures for like 5 times of what they pay 🤣 stay away!!

I seen the master chief helmet in the background no amount of blurr can hide the legendary edition halo 3 helmet from my eyes lol and I seen all the halo figures right under the first mortal kombat figures you seen I collect everything halo🤣
at least to me the ps2 is a retro console now i mean its 23 years old. and on top of that the N64 came out in 1996 that's a 4 year gap or it was 4 years old when the ps2 came out and back when the ps3 was out the the n64 was considered a retro console and back when teh ps3 came out the N64 was 10 years old at that point heck id even say the ps3 is getting close to retro. that being said i wouldn't called the ps3 a retro console because you can still this games on the ps4(mostly) and to me the PS4 is not dead at all the ps5 isnt trying to replace the ps4 at all so its still a living console

I think I haven’t see any other places like this in the USA and I live like 40 minutes from there and I have to stop going for a moment cuz I put a lot of money and place and it’s one of my happy places for reals and yes don’t bring a lot of money and live your cards at hotel or home cuz you will wast a lot of money

This place is overrated I'd occassionally stop by there are collectables but you are better off on ebay and it's delivered to you for less.
