I hope that Kendrick inspires people to dig deeper into the art they put out because hip-hop has been so surface-level for so long that it has lost its depth.

Drake didn't personally send a cease & desist letter, but him & Metro Boomin are on the same label so they basically sent a letter saying the song wasn't cleared for radio airplay to try and stifle it.

Not necessarily, the US doesn't have right of blood citizenship. In order to get dual citizenship his dad would need to have at least partial( possibly needs full) custody and file for it prior to drake's 18th birthday, if I'm remembering correctly( not a lawyer). Which may have happened, but it is not automatic or guaranteed.
It has always considered himself Canadian. He was raised in Canada. And his culture is off..
