We had one as a rental for vacation, drove it 8 hours from our home to our vacation spot, and 8 hours back again. Took us around Myrtle Beach, SC in comfort, style, and awesomeness! (:
We were supposed to have gotten a Lincoln Navigator, but they couldn't find one, and I'll admit, I was disappointed at first, but let me tell you, it sure felt like a luxury vehicle and I ended up loving it! (:
We still have a 2001 Suburban with just under 200k miles. It has been and is a fantastic vehicle. Very smooth drive and great in the snow. Last year I rented a 2014 Suburban. We liked it, had a lot more bells and whistles yet the entire family agreed we all liked the 2001 better. The one thing that I noticed was the engine was not as responsive as the older one. One of the kids said the feet area on the third bench seat was not as deep, that the floor was higher. I didn't look so I can't confirm that. We will likely keep the older one for several more years. The oldest boy has asked for it when he graduates college.
Rented one of these a few years back to haul not only my family, but a friends as well in and around Disneyland. Felt like I was driving on a cloud. The biggest thing about this SUV for me was the convenience in cargo capacity. When I parked this behemoth, I made sure I could pull right through in the parking spot so as to minimize the number of maneuvers it would take to pull out. Great review (as usual). Keep up the good work.
Another great review! Only problem with such an expensive option, you could get a dreaded minivan and a sports car for the price of the thing...love the utility of it though! Fuel consumption isn't as bad as you might think, no worse than the GMC Acadia...food for thought!
Because of the a average guy I bought a 2015 Toyota Sienna. I already have a Yukon XL but just can't beat the sienna for a people mover. Thanks for the recommendation...
The ultimate long distance family hauler!
pedrof830 indeed - but bring your wallet for the gas!
Bought one for my wife a month ago, we are very pleased with the chevy so far
Dino Tolentino Torchio you're a good man!
How is the gas?

You should look at a 2012 or a 13 model. I personally like the look of it better. I have a black 2012 LTZ 90,000 miles on it so far.
👍🏽
