Hi Jenee, another tip I use is to look at nature, what colour combos do you see in nature? Brown and green - trees? Yellow or nudes and blue, sand and sea. You get me so I’ll stop 😂😂

I love to wear a total brown look, ( brown satin buttons shirt plus a flared brown leggings) with big heart shaped earrings made with white pearls . All this with a bold TURQUOISE eye makeup 🦋🙊
I love the color combinations you've styled together! I always wear bright colors except at work (mostly black & white) and I've learned from you how to tone it down. My favorite combos are turquoise & yellow, pink & orange, purple & mustard and the one you showed lilac and grey. Take a bow, Janae, you did an excellent job! I can't wait to see what's next👍🏽❤

Thanks for the inspo. I remembered a prior video of yours mentioning colored coats. Saturday, I had on pink long wool coat with a red turtleneck and a black wide brim fedora. You couldn’t tell me nothing at the museum 😂. Lots of folk complimented the look too. I was nervous at first, but finally settled in. Definitely gonna try that green/red/tan and purple/yellow!

your brown look that you have on goes well w your nail color, it’s like a mint chocolate combo so that’s another example, they aren’t on the color wheel but they are complimentary to one another! brown & green is a pretty good combo 🤎💚🤎💙

My fave was the deep green oversized suit with the splash of color😍. Sticking with the color’s your comfortable with is so accurate. I’ve always love to wear colors. My favorite color are mostly pink, red, blue and I mix them with neutrals. Thank you for your expertise on wearing colors!

This was great! I’ve seen the color wheel before, but, seeing it in use is beyond helpful. Like you, I have lots of neutrals in my wardrobe (love me some gray or black anything) and the bit of color in my wardrobe is on the safe side ( lots of blue hues). Gonna definitely try using the color wheel to inform my next shooing excursion. Thanks so much for this vid!
I needed this video. When wearing color, I tend to choose jewel tones because I thought that would be more appropriate for women of color. This video makes more confident to try primary colors and pastels.

Orange and hot pink are my favorite. Teal and red/hot pink/orange. Baby blue and red. Forest pine green and red or gold.
